Good Evening from the UK. Could some kind soul assist a 71 year old trying to get the MCP and 737 working correctly. All the knobs and switches appear to work OK, but the MCP Display refuses to display any data :( I have used both the VRInsight software and Linda, which both function the same way. I have placed the [sDK] statement in the appropriate "Options" file, but can find little else on a variety of forums. Please help a septuagenarian [71] along his [just started] "heavy" experience. Thanks in advance for any info which may help me. Regards.

Hello to everyone, I recently bought the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System and i have been absolutely thrilled with it. I am looking forward to expanding it with more products. However, 1 week ago i had a minor incident. My sister, while passing by, accidental broke the throttle lever (the 1st one of the 3). I can't do much so basically i need an extra. I've seen from previous topics that it is very hard to find and before i resort to buying the extra throttle quadrant, that has an extra lever, is there anyone who can help me? Appreciate any help guys!

All of my other Saitek panels are working in Steam Edition, just not the Instrument Panels. I tried copying the exe.xml from C:/Users/(your name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX over to C:/Users/(your name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX-SE. This gets FSX-SE to ask me if I want to run directoutput at startup to feed the panels. I click yes.. in FSX the panels immediately respond and display instruments. In FSX-SE I am getting no such response. Any ideas? Thanks, Dustin

I have abandoned the FSX controller settings and settings everything up in FSUIPC. But now I need to set the sensitivity on my Saitek rudder pedals, and I need some advice on doing this in FSUIPC. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial on setting this up? I've been playing with the calibration, but can't seem to desensitize the pedals, and my take-offs are all over the place. Any FSUIPC experts out there?

Hi fellas, A short while ago my CH Products Flightsim yoke has started acting up. I don't blame it, because it's fairly old, but still its behaviour is quite annoying; the axis for elevator input is no longer stable. When I pull the yoke in a climb and hold it in that position every few seconds the elevator axis jumps back down considerably for an instant and then reverts back to the position I'm holding it in. You can imagine that landings are becoming very exciting this way... I've checked what happens in FSUIPC. The neutral position of the elevator axis jumps up and down very quickly between the approximate values of -1000 and 1900. When I try to calibrate the axi…

I am thinking about getting a new throttle quadrant. I am currently looking at the Elite MEL Throttle Quadrant. https://www.flyelite.com/shop/piston-throttle-quadrant/ Anyone have any feedback on these? Can you use reverse thrust with it? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. Gary Merka

I recently purchased the Saitek Cessna rudder pedals from Amazon warehouse deals. I got a really good price on them, but plugged them in and quickly noticed the right toe brake is not working. Everything else functions perfectly. I am a bit reluctant to return them and pay an extra £50 for brand new ones when my instinct tells me this issue can be fixed. Is it worth opening them up and trying to fix them? Maybe this is a known issue that someone can offer some input on? Many thanks Oliver

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my Saitek cyborg v1 joystick in FSX. When I leave my throttle on idle, FSX shows my throttles at around 25%. At full throttle on the joystick, FSX shows my throttles at 75%. When I click calibrate, FSX's calibration system shows no problems at all with throttle position; 0% on the stick corresponds to 0% on the throttle, and 100% corresponds to 100%. When I use the same stick in XPX or Aerofly FS, the problem doesn't exist. This hasn't happened to me in the 2.5 years I've owned this stick and is a relatively new problem (a few weeks). The problem started when I unplugged my joystick and plugged in another Saitek controller (the pro y…

I just score these panels on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/251956649818 and was wondering if they work as advertised and what kind of software would I need. They won't probably work for airplanes other than the default ones. Hopefully they do.

I have an older non-USB PFC rudder pedal set. The set worked in XP but does not work in WIN7 using a game port to USB adapter. From what I have read WIN7 no longer supports game port drivers but some have reported to get their legacy hardware to work none-the-less. I want to use my old PFC rudder pedals and yoke in my dual seat cockpit for the FO side. Any ideas are appreciated.

My CH Pro pedals suffer from spontaneous, and without control input "twitching" making taxing very difficult. This happens with the aircraft stationary and often locks in an extreme deflection, left or right. The pedals in the aircraft replicate these actions. I haven't seen this mentioned in previous posts but it does seem remarkable for me to be a one and only victim. Help please Anamiv

Reading the topic below, it would seem there is trouble using Saitek controls with A2A aircraft so before purchasing this Skylane hearing of experiences with these products would be very helpful. I don't want to buy this aircraft if I can't use my Saitek Yoke,Quadrant and Pedals . I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Echofox

Hello, I have an annoying problem with my keyboard assignments which often gets reset without notice. This is the situation: I disable the controls from FSX, delete most of keyboard commands in FSX, and I assign all the keyboard commands I actually use in FSUIPC. I am using Saitek controls (yoke, quadrant, pedals, trim wheel, panel switch) and EzDok cameras I am essentially using only F1-F12 on my keyboard, everything else is on my control's buttons. I noticed that sometimes my USB controls (Saitek) don't get properly recognised at startup and need to be unplugged and plugged again. When I do that (with FSX still not running) and then I run FSX I see that most o…

I purchased a power adaptor and plugged it in the Saitek Yoke ProFlight to make it a "powered USB hub". Is there a way to know if the connection is actually functional and if the internal hub is actually getting external power? There are no LEDs for that, unfortunately... I am plugging in the rudder pedals, trim wheel and quadrant, all from Saitek. Thanks!

My taxes are filed and I'm waiting for the $ roll in. I currently have one Saitek Autopilot panel. I want to add 3 more so I have independent panels for IAS, HDG, ALT, V/S. I don't like having to turn the knob to switch between modes. Can I run 4 panels at once?

After buying an expensive controller like the TM warthog HOTAS I would like to get the best use of it in FSX. There seem to be a problem with the switches that are not toggle switches. FSX seem unable to distinguish between its position and only detects any change as one button. Is it in any way possible to use these permanent switches in FSX ?

I ordered my yoke on 23 February and a throttle quadrant early March, but have still not had a delivery. Has anyone else in the UK (or Europe) ordered from the European distributor recently, and if so, how long did it take until it was finally delivered? I know they have to go through the Spanish customs processes etc, so just interested in other folks experiences with this.

I am sure this is not new... Please refer me to any discussions that clarify these TWO questions.. -1- How to set up the Saitek TPM so it functions as CARB HEAT / THROTTLE / MIXTURE. -2- Is the Saitek TPM fully compatible with Prepar3d? Any special driver or other set up process? Thanks RMM

Hi, I'm using the Saitek yoke and I have EZdok. I have been using both for several years, but I reinstalled everything on a new system recently (don't have the old one anymore). I set up the a, s, shift a, shift s (or whatever the instructions said to do) and I removed the hat assignment fro FSX. The hat switch works fine in the VC, but in spot/locked spot, I can only move left or right. I cannot move up and down. On my old system, I didn't have this issue. I want to experiment with reassigning it in FSX, but I can't figure out what to assign it to. What control do I need to assign the hat switch to in FSX? I do have a pretty good backup from my old in…
