Hey Guys, Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but couldn't find anywhere else to post? Either way, unfortunately, I've become quite limited in both time and space in the last few weeks, meaning a yoke+pedals+quads setup just isn't viable for me anymore. Right now, I have a CH Eclipse Yoke (MSRP ~$200), 2 Saitek Quadrants (MSRP ~$120), and a Wheel Stand Pro v.Saitek (MSRP ~$200) that I need to sell. All 4 items are fairly new, purchased in December of 2014 and January of 2015. All 4 items are in "like-new" condition with no scratches, dents, stains, etc... The only "defect" within the 4 items is in the first Saitek quadrant, whose center lever detent is flaky and doe…

Taking a long pause from flying wing-craft, today is my first day learning the helis. Maybe not an appropriate model for a starter but Dodosim's "difficulty lever" should help I think. I've been using to set all my aircraft controls through FSUIPC using Saitek X52 Pro. Now can any heli pilot with me his FSUIPC.ini settings for Dodosim Bell - I mean the Buttons and Joystick configuration mapping settings from FSUIPC.ini? I just need it as a background to look at and make my own configuration changes as required. That will be great and thank you! Rustam

I just purchased the Ps3 Web cam with my Track Hat and was told to purchase the driver through Code Laboratories. I made the purchase and was given the link through my e-mail. Problem is the link was extremely difficult to find and when I found it , they kept pushing a company on me that will open my files and never was able to download a driver. Has anyone else have this problem with Code Laboratories ?

I know how to do it for one engine but not for two engines. Can someone help me please? This is my hardware configuration. Throttle, Throttle, Prop, Prop, Mixture, mixture.

Hi! I think it would be great if I could get one small keypad and use it close to my Yoke, so as to have some certain commands closer to me (example Ivap speaking through Teamspeak, etc). But then I wonder, how will I set it up? FSX "sees" my main keyboard. How will I add the second keypad? Does anyone use extra keypads and happen to know the way? I saw a very interesting keypad from Razor Orbweaver or something like that..it looks amazing... Cheers Dimitris

Consider the following: 1. Saitek Pro Flight Yoke $145 2. Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Yoke $195 3. CH Products Eclipse Yoke $194 Prices are current at Amazon for comparison. My questions: 1. Ignoring price, is any one of these significantly better/worse than the others? 2. Considering price, are the Saitek Cessna and/or the CH Eclipse $50 better than the standard Saitek Pro Flight?

I have two Targus number keypads that I have connected to my computer by USB cables. The intent was to use these to activate the ATC choices by mapping with FSUIPC. I had one for use with my yoke and one for use with my helicopter collective. I have had them working in the past but now they are not. The key assignments show up in FSUIPC, there are no conflicts with controls in FSX and they do show up in as HID components in my windows (Win 7) control panel. Even the number keypad on my key board does not work with the ATC window. I have reconfigured in FSUIPC, plugged and unplugged the usb connections and even tried different usb ports. I know that the problem is …

Hello, can anyone tell me if it is easy to use two Saitek quadrants with FSX Gold? Where would I plug in the second one? I would like to be able to have two so I can have separate engine controls for throttle, prop, and condition. Is this possible using just FSX and SST? I do not use FSUIPC and do not want too as the learning curve is way too steep for me. I think I have seen this done somewhere before. Thanks for any help. Jack

I am attempting to either repair or replace my USB cable for my CH Products Yoke. It is the basic yoke and not their fancy one. My loving sweet dog decided to make part of it her chew toy. I have contacted CH Products support and was told they do not sell replacement cables. Which brings me to my next question, does anyone know where to purchase a replacement or has been able to easily make a new one? And if not has anyone had any success in repairing USB cables? I am fairly competent in repaiting basic things, but due to a lack of experience it might be ugly. Thank you very much for your time.

As many know, FSX has an issue where you move the mouse on the screen, and your framerate drops quite a bit. After a few seconds of not moving the mouse, the cursor disappears and the framerate returns to normal. I've been doing some searching on this, and I found something that may help to lessen the effect of it. FSX uses a software cursor, which is tied to its framerate, and the mouse pointer is calculated by the CPU. Prepar3D uses a hardware cursor which is not tied its framerate, rendered by the GPU, and thus has no performance impact. With that said, I tried some tests. -Lock framerate at 30 FPS -Adjust sliders to maintain 30 FPS or higher. If y…

I try to assign the down and up switch to trim since there already are text on the stick saying NOSE DOWN and NOSE UP. But in FSX the hat switch seem only to be identified as one switch called HAT SWITCH. How do I assign the eight different positions ?

Hey everyone, I know this has been talked over, and I've seen a few threads that discuss it, but none of them give an actual answer. Please excuse me! I have Windows 8.1 and an X-52 HOTAS. It goes dead every single flight, usually right when I get to altitude and am really in the groove! I have FSUIPC (paid) and I just don't know what to do. I have turned off the power saver in windows to no avail. Could someone treat me like a 3rd grader and talk me through this? I appreciate all your help in advance!

Hi, my name is Paul and I just introduced myself in the newbies forum. I own FSX Gold and and FS Ultimate Americas. I decided to start with a relatively modest t16000m and I own a Corsair K65 RGB which is excellent for assigning different colours to different types of controls on a key-by-key basis. However already I am starting to crave more!!! While there is no way that I could afford anything from GoFlight, I was looking at a few lower end panels from Saitek on Amazon which are affordable to me at the moment. My dilemma is do I just buy the Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel or should I add the Saitek Pro Flight TPM Panel as well. Realistically at the moment my budget is a…

Hello folks, I am having a problem with this uncommanded full left rudder in every aircraft! Kick the right rudder and it immediately returns to full left! The rudder trim remains centred. This is both on the ground and in the air. This happens on both sims. (I have MS FSX Acceleration installed on both WIN7 and VISTA, each on its own SSD drive. The other thing is....when I press the Shift key, say...to raise the pilot seat, it changes the view? I wonder if it might be some sort of 'Sticky' I've inadvertently activated? BTW I have SAITEK COMBAT RUDDER PEDALS & they are properly calibrated. I've looked through most Flight Sim forums but can't find anyth…

I was wondering if anyone ever experienced this and / or has a fix suggestion? After about 45 minutes / an hour, (or an amount of time in which the throttle and stick have been idle), the X55 stick and throttle fail to work completey in FSX. I have to save flight, close FSX, and restart and then load from where I was. I have not programmed them using FSUIPC. Update: I have just experienced within minutes of start, and it happened after I paused and then unpaused, the sim. Thanks, Lenny

I've got a cockpit build, using Saitek kit .... A yoke and quadrant, autopilot, radios and switch panel and rudders. This morning my Saitek gear has gone a bit crazy. The rudder is fluttering madly and will not properly respond. The dials on the autopilot suddenely jump in 10s not 1's, so setting airspeeds and bearings is difficult. Reboots have not worked. Unplugging and replugging the yoke usb has not worked either. The rudders are connected directly into the PCs usb slot, while the switch panels are plugged into the yoke. Since they use different drivers and fitted into different usb ports, I'm struggling to see any connection. I did get a power surge message …

Got two questions for the forum: What is the minimum install required to have FSX (and SE) see the X-55 system? Asking because I am having problems with FSX SE, FSUIPC and the X-55, particularly the throttle control unit. I have already installed , and un-installed the Madcatz profiler because it seemed to be causing problems with FSX and FSUIPC. If possible, I would like to use FSUIPC for everything on the controller. There is a knurled wheel (no stops - turns CW & CCW) on the X-55 throttle (left throttle control) that only the profiler seems to see. Does anyone know how to utilize this wheel? I'd love to use it for elevator trim, especially in my A2A P-51's. FS…

One of the reasons I bought the Saitek X-55 was that is has a Trim Wheel on the end of the left throttle lever, which I much prefer over the toggle switch method. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be recognised by FSX when I try to program it to the FSX Aileron Trim Axis in the controls setup. I know the 'switch' method is more realistic for the big jets, but I just prefer to use a trim wheel. Anyone know how I can overcome this as I don't have room on my desk for the full size Saitek Trim Wheel. Glen

Hello, About two months ago i purchased a GoFlight Pro Yoke after watching the review 'Froggle Pete' did. Got to say i am not really all that impressed, i am entirely ignoring the mouse control feature, it's entirely unusable. The Yoke does feel pretty substantial and at least from the aileron axis it's smooth and weighty. My major issue is the elevator control, it's absolutely terrible, i would say worse than the Saitek yoke i replaced it with, it's way too heavy, you get perhaps 1cm travel before the springs provide to much resistance. In order to help i have removed the springs, it's a little better, but precise control is now much harder because it no longer h…

My pedals work fine for rudder but if you touch the brakes they stay on for the rest of the flight. Not good when your trying to take off or taxi. I've heard elsewhere they are very sensitive but I cant seem to fix with calibration. Anyone any ideas? TIA
