Is anyone using this with P3D5? I was thinking of getting it to work with the PMDG 777. How easy is it to assign buttons, reversers, hdg select etc? I've already got the Airbus sidestick. Can I still use this as a tiller when using the yoke?

Can experienced MSFS players recommend the best flight sim controls that might be available on Amazon? Trying to fly with a keyboard or my xbox controller is proving very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Money is not an issue. TIA

I feel that this has been discussed before but my searches did not turn anything up. I am thinking of using my Thruastmaster A320 throttle quadrant with my beloved Kodiak 100. How do I properly set up so that throttle 1 is my throttle with the idle stop being true idle stop, and with throttle 2 being my prop lever, with idle stop being prop full fine and reverse throttle being Beta/Reverse?

Anyone knows anything about what's the deal with Headsets Reviews on the Tube these days ?.. There's a truckload of them, singled out products and/or compairing them to eachother. Do these guys get payed to praise and rave about them ? Or are these reviews honest and unbiased personal opinions ? (must say i am very much beginning to doubt that !). I guess they must atleast get a free copy of the product they are reviewing, right ? And so, hence forth, are already feeling obliged to praise the product, right ? I just bought a relatively expensive headset, Astro A50, just because it seems to be praised and loved by a lot of reviewers also by comparison with other …

Newbie here. Can someone please give me some guidance on what sensitivity settings I should be using with the above yoke? I'm pretty confused with null zone. sensitivity, reacitivity etc. I fly the stock 172 and the pitch seems very, extremely sensitive especially on final approach. The slightest movement of the yoke in or out is very exaggerated, causing too much fluctuation in pitch. My rudder seems to work OK. Thank You all for any help.

Hi all, I have the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Yoke, and the rocker switch below the Hat Switch is really loose since I've used the Yoke for a long time. However, when I try to assign that switch to a command in FSX's settings, it responds, so the actual control isn't damaged. With that being said, all I would need would be a replacement switch or a way to repair the loose one. I checked Saitek's site and didn't find anything, so I thought this forum would be the next step. The switch in question is labeled "Button 12," and "Button 13," in FSX's settings. Please assist! Kevin Davis

Hello to all, I am thinking to work on a Thrustmaster T16000m rudder Hall Effect sensor potentiometer project in my free time. As you may know I have designed and developed various HE sensor units for replacing the Saitek and CH defective OEM potentiometers since 2019. I would like to take the advantage of the Hall Effect sensor of its long lasting life and reliable performance and make one for the Thrustmster T16000m rudder. Instead of buying a used Thrustmaster T16000m and tearing it down for the OEM potentiometer, I would like to ask for a defective rudder OEM pot only (not the whole joystick unit) as a donor electronic part. If you have t…

Hi there everyone, I come here to write about the experience I had with FSThrottles (not to be confused with FSXThrottle) I started a order with him some time ago now, in 2018. I had been wanting a throttle from him for years. So after much saving for my younger self I was finally able to buy a throttle through him. I was given a lead time of about 8 weeks when I ordered. I received a few emails from him over the process of him building it. However when the ship date was coming up and then past. All of the phone numbers on his website were disconnected, and the times when he did call me he blocked his caller ID. I heard nothing from him for about 5 weeks until I file…

Good afternoon, I have the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle and am trying to map the grey slider to the flaps to use with the Milviz T-45C. I tried it in p3d but it is very finicky. I tried it in FSUIPC and while it seems to work, there are no "half-flaps" it seems to only be either Full Flaps or No Flaps. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have seen on the web that some people mount their Xbox controller to their yoke using Velcro tape. What a great idea! Since I wanted to do basically the same thing on my "Honeyomb Alpha" but without using the tape (scared of damaging the surface) I looked on the internet and found the perfect solution: Sits perfectly and very sturdy, no movement . At the moment I use the default profile for the controller, perfect for cockpit and drone camera. And great for navigating through the menus, for me keyboard and mouse are not needed anymore. I haven't figured out if the vibration is working in MSFS, what I heard it i…

I'm not bashing Honeycomb, they make a great Yoke! (I only own the Alpha Yoke) I'm sure they are busy with shortages and covid. I have a small issue and I contacted them about a solution. They responded 3 days after the initial contact with a agreeable solution... but have since gone dark. I think we're going on 3+ weeks now. Anyone else having this experience?

There are a ton of controller bindings that are not used by Flight Simulator - in the default configuration; for example: - Left Trigger + Right Trigger - Right Bumper + B, X, Y - Right Bumper + DPAD Up / Down / Left / Right - Right Bumper + Right Stick Up / Down / Left / Right - Left Trigger + DPAD Up / Down / Left / Right - Right Trigger + DPAD Up / Down / Left / Right - Y + DPAD Up / Down / Left / Right - Select + Start - AY - BX That's 27 open possible bindings, but I've already consumed many of these (https://flightsimpics.com/flightsimulatorkeyboardcontrollermaps/) -- and some of them aren't a good idea in flight sim (e.g. Select + Start) …

Please only respond to the poll if you have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke. I'm not asking if it's a problem, I'm just after a rough sense of how many people can see any slack at all in their axes. Thanks.

I've assigned the trim wheel axis in MSFS to one of my CH Products throttle levers to see how it works. When flying manually it works great. A lot better than using discrete buttons. But it doesn't play well with the planes' autopilots. The autopilots adjusts the trim and this seems to flight with the position (and input) from the assigned lever position. This causes the graphical trim wheel in the cockpit to go beserk and problems when disengaging the autopilot (the trim wants to go back to the lever position). Does the Bravo Throttle Trim wheel have the same problems?

I'm looking to get some rudder pedals, and budget-wise I'm down to either the Thrustmaster T Flight or the Logitech. Is there a significant difference between the 2?
