Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but this control is garbage. In my case the potentiometers started malfunctioning after just a few hours of use. I disassembled one of them and found the resistive track pretty much disappeared, you can barely notice it's there. Anyway, I was wondering if someone knows about a replacement I can buy, I know this control was kinda popular in the past, I would be surprised if I'm the first one having this issue, considering the piece of word not allowed this control is. 🤧 Thanks in advance.

I received these for Christmas and have installed them as indicated in the PDF instructions. The computer (a Jet Line with Windows 7) recognizes both in the Devices and Printers section with a nice picture of each. A right click on each shows them ready to go. However, neither comes up in FSX. I have yet to get the acceptance questions when starting FSX and aside from a slight red glow on the Multi Panel screen, there's no life indicated in either. If I reboot the computer though, the Radio panel will flash it's numbers briefly. I've been watching videos and trying things others have tried but have had no success. Can someone please help me with correctly creating a TARGET profile mapping my Thrustmaster TCA Airbus HOTAS for use with FSX SE? As is I cannot get the throttles to work properly. They start at about %25 power even when calibrated at throttle settings to zero, and no reverse functions at all. At this point I don’t even care if I can get the reverses detents to work and would be fine with somehow mapping the throttle full power range from 0-100 (with detents physically removed from the unit) but TARGET has humiliated me by proving to be much smarter than I. Just installed msfs20 having not been simming for about 2 year, Got all my hardware working , except slight issue with ruder pedal. Rudder control surface work, left and right, But only the left brake seems to work. On the screen where you test it nor reaction to the input. I have assigned both brakes tot he left peddle. I am guessing this is a hardware failure on the right brake switch or could it be a setting somewhere?

Hello, I want to use a steam controller for the drone views. It works in the cockpit view and not in the drone view. In addition the controller does not show in the MSFS hardware page. Is there a way to fix that issue? Thank you.

Recently my Saitek Multi Panel Heading control has been acting up. All other rotary commands such as Course, Altitude, etc are working perfect. When turning the tuning knob in Heading Mode, the needle in the simulator (MSFS) jumps erratically many digits at a time. This also shows on the Saitek screen. It's worse in MSFS but I've noticed even in X-Plane 11 it is not smooth although it doesn't jump multiple digits. I reloaded the Saitek driver but that didn't make any difference. Hi all, I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has had this problem with the Bravo Quadrant. I have been having this problems for months now and it is very intermittant. I cannot seem to replicate or when it fixes I am unable to work out if it is something I have done or the quadrant has righted itself. Le me give you some context in MSFS, although I think this has also happened in all the sims. I am approaching into Dubai last night and on approach I start to set my flaps and lower the landing gear. Hi there I'm in possession of a Saitek Cyborg 3D USB Gold, I plugged it in this morning to see if I could use it as is and ran in to some issues. When calibrating it the joystick would stick to the bottom right of the screen and would only start to move if i pressed in the stick hard and started to move it, the slider would also not work unless the stick was pressed in, the hat and buttons work fine just the stick and slider. I'm running a windows 10 PC and when I checked for driver updates it said it was up to date. I have no idea what to do and it would be a shame to put this beauty back into storage. Thanks in advance

Hi All, Merry Christmas! I have been thinking about replacing my terrible Saitek rudder pedals for a while and got some money for Christmas so I have been looking at the Crosswinds (V3). Would. Love to hear from any of you that have them and what your experience has been. I only use MSFS2020 these days but also still have X-Plane 11 installed. Are there ANY alternatives to SPAD.Next? I have been trying and trying and trying to get it to work with MSFS2020. It DID work back in the earlier release days of MSFS but now it does NOTHING! I can't even load online profiles anymore, or connect with the wizard tests any more either! I have TRIED to use the Logitech/Saitek drivers but the switches just don't do anything. About all that works is the throttle quadrant, yoke and pedals. I haven't stayed on long enough out of frustration to really check to see if the FIPS are even working. I've tried asking for help on the SPAD.Next forums but I just told that it will NEVER work because my version is too old. Ha…

This is a really stupid question but how do you use the Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle at the same time. The default Alpha Yoke works okay by itself but adding the throttle and all of a sudden the throttle moves the yoke. Is there a write up or tutorial on this? I have watched the individual tutorials for each one.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has solved the problem of being able to setup the reverse thrust on this throttle quad. I know that some of the people that have reviewed this on YouTube have mentioned it. but as of now, I can't find any review that mentions this problem as solved. It seems there's a new CDU on the block from a new company called Cockpit Masters. Directly it's for the 737, but works for the 747 and 777 too. It's a bit more economical than some other solutions and is all run off a single USB which is appealing. There's an FSElite review and a couple YouTube videos that look pretty encouraging to me. Has anyone seen any further commentary or have any feedback? I have a glass cockpit (Simionic PFD, MFD and audio panels), but am wondering how difficult it would be to install 3-4 of my Saitek generation FIPs to serve as the backup steam gauges. This in MSFS 2020 and P3d (v5,1). Two questions: 1. (Viability ?): Is this even doable ( e.g., am I going to have "conflict" issues due to the glass cockpit instrumentation; or other problems? )? A question to anyone here who are using the Simionic PFD and MFD G1000 software / hardware... The PFD aircraft options page includes a tool to create custom aircraft, beyond those already included in the software. Has anyone here setup additional aircraft? If yes, would it be possible to get a copy of the settings you prepared for your custom aircraft(s)? Thank you, Brian

When assigning Elevator Axis Y it provides neutral elevator and will only allow DOWN control when stick is pushed forward. Aileron and all other assignments are no problem. Any ideas? Thanks

.My old Thrustmaster HOTAS joystick and throttle thing doesn't cut it with the Kodiak. Working the rudders by "twisting" the joystick just doesn't work very well. So I'm thinking of buying one of those cheap plastic junk things, like the Logitech Saitek yoke and throttle quadrant. Was briefly considering the Honeycomb version, but I watched a few youtube videos, and they look just as plasticky and junky and cheap as the Logitech, at 2.5 times the price (if you figure in rudder pedals as well). Haven't made up my mind yet, as I hate to clog up my desk with these huge monstrosities.

First, I am running Windows 10 Pro. I am running the Game of the Year edition. The setup on the Bravo is that for a commercial jet quadrant. I was running an older version of MSFS 2020 where I did not have this problem. I am having trouble with the flap bindings for the Honeycomb Bravo. What is happening is that Flaps Axis (-100 to 100%) is no longer there as an option for flap bindings, at least not in the version I have installed, unless there was installation error? All of the Youtube setup tutorials say to use the (-100 to 100%) option for my flaps control. Additionally this option is what I used to use before I had to reinstall MSFS 2020....and it worked fo…

The thrustmaster Boeing 787 replica yoke and throttle are open for preorder with a release date of 23rd December. Available from the thrustmaster online shop and also Amazon and a few others. I’ve placed an order and as a real world 787 pilot I’ll come back and post my thoughts once I’ve had a good go with it. ( if only I were a YouTube influencer I’d have been sent one already to try ) I currently use the fulcrum yoke which is excellent and it will probably remain in use for the majority of my simming , but for the 787 and other being jet flying the thrustmaster looks an interesting development .

Just acquired an XBox X for use with FS2020 and have (after multiple attempts over several days) been unable to pair/install the Hotas 4 via the appropriate menus on XBox. There were no issues mating the XBox Controller to the console and it functions without any issues. The connection of the Hotas 4 to thst e XBox console via the HDMI cable is fine (the light on the Hotas is illuminated). I also use the Hotas for FS2020 on my computer and it works well there. Suggestions to resolve the problem would be appreciated. -GeorgeM
