Are there ANY alternatives to SPAD.Next?

I have been trying and trying and trying to get it to work with MSFS2020. It DID work back in the earlier release days of MSFS but now it does NOTHING! I can't even load online profiles anymore, or connect with the wizard tests any more either!

I have TRIED to use the Logitech/Saitek drivers but the switches just don't do anything. About all that works is the throttle quadrant, yoke and pedals. I haven't stayed on long enough out of frustration to really check to see if the FIPS are even working.

I've tried asking for help on the SPAD.Next forums but I just told that it will NEVER work because my version is too old. Having to pay for the same piece of software over and over just have functionality and bug fixes rather chaps my hide.

We are retired, have a fixed income. YES when I retired I used my retirement bonus to buy a good pc, controls, panels, switches and the software. I figured that after 39 years of flight simming on just the basics and minimums I'd treat myself finally.

Like I said, it was fun the first 6 months or so. But I had to step away for a bit to take care of some RL concerns and when I come back, it's all "busted"

I would just really like to get it all working so that I can Fly again since I can't fly in RL anymore, it would be nice, ya know.

Spad Next is a subscription service you pay each year. you also need to be up to date on the program. If you contact them on their Discord server you'll get a faster response.

Hi,

you could have a look at Lorby Si’s Axes and Ohs program. I use it all the time and it’s great. There is a free trial so you can see if it works for you and there is a support forum on Avsim which the developer is active on. It’s also  updated quite regularly with added features and functionality .

hope this helps

Steve

MobiFlight now supports Joysticks and does it well. Its free and you may want to look into it at no cost or risk to see if its right for what you need it for.

(I edited this message to correct it).

The base edition of SpadNext is yours forever, it is not a subscription. It's all I have or want. The "complete edition" adds nothing I need. It looks like from the link below that it too is yours forever after purchase. My copy will probably still work fine 10 years from now in MSFS. If not, well updates are only 10 Euros (a one time charge forever fee for to use that update).

After each year goes by exactly to the day, then when when I click on SpadNext it doesn't open but instead an info window pops up about an update. Which if you do not want then you just enter your original registration key again (for free) and then it's good for another year and opens as usual. You only pay if you want the features of the updated versions.
