Hi I was happily flying with FSX and W10 for years using the Logitech G940 force feedback gear. Then came W11 and MSFS2020 and I decided to upgrade my hardware so I could switch to W11. My current setup is therefore as follows: Mobo: MSI B550 GAMING PLUS CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Mem: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance Graphic: Radeon RX 560 Windows 11 22H2 First disappointment: the G940 did not work with MSFS2020. I decided to give the Saitek flight system a try and bought a Saitek Flight Yoke and pedals as well as two panels, a multipanel and a switch panel. I struggled for quite a while now but could not get the stuff to work correctly. …

Hi I have just start to design a FFB Yoke in Fusion 360 and I need to pick a direction for choosing the correct DC motor and controller board. First of all what type of DC motor am I needing? I have decided going for Phidgets solution since Prosim 737 has support for Phidgets. As and P&P alternative I have the Brunner FFB Yoke. The last question is if FS2020 will take advantage of FFB? I would like to use something like a game keypad that would function as a game controller independent of the main keyboard. For instance, if I am programming controls using LINDA and the main keyboard "G" key toggles the landing gear, I could program the secondary keypad's "G" for a different function. What I want to do is use the secondary game keypad to expand my options, and use it primarily to control Chaseplane views.

I'm thinking about purchasing the Thrustmaster Airbus Edition, including the joystick and the throttle pack, but before I do, I want to get everyone's review on these items and how well they work in FSX, P3D and MSFS 2020. Can I still use the joystick to fly a small plane, even though its design is for the airbus stick? Is it possible to assign 4 jet engines to the 2 throttle quadrant? I understand that it has a mechanical function where I can disable the detents on the throttles so that it slides smoothly without the detents. Is that true? I also noticed that it looks like it has a slider at the front of the joystick. Is that the slider for the throttle quadrant? Ke…

I recently purchased the Tflight rudder pedals from Thrustmaster. I noticed the pedals are difficult to move in small amounts on the aileron axis due to what I would call "bumpy" or sticking movements on the rails. I saw a review on this with someone who experienced the same, but they didn't say whether or not they had fixed it. I've thought about using a different lube on the rails or something similar. Anyone experienced this, and found a fix? Thanks!

Hi all, I had purchased a while back a pair of the great MFG crosswinds, but for personal reasons never got around to using them in general. I'm now resuming flight simming, and looking at the different options I would like to get feedback from those who know about the differences with the accesories and settings for different scenarios. As those of you that know them know, the pedals come with 2 "CAM" pieces, (number 4 and 6) with different movement trajectories for more/less center detent and curves, and a third one (5) that can be purchased separately, and there is a brief description of the differences of all these on their website on a pdf (https://mfg…

Hi, as the title suggests I’m looking for recommendations for a decent plug and play MCP to use with my PMDG 737-700 in MSFS. Anyone who is running one your insights would be appreciated , especially on ease of set up. I’m currently using a Mini X-touch Midi controller through Axis and Ohs which works fine but looking to upgrade. Also Ideally looking for a unit that I can expand with an EFIS unit at a later date but it’s not a deal breaker if the MCP itself is a decent unit. Thanks in advance, Steve

I’ve had a GoFlight MCP Pro for a few years now but had a break from it when I switched to Concorde. I’ve started using it again after buying the PollyPot GIT software. The MCP works really well with the aircraft with one exception. The vertical speed wheel doesn’t increment and decrement the values smoothly. It can change from 1800 to 3000 if I make changes too quickly. I’m wondering if it has got dirty and needs cleaning. It shouldn’t be worn through use as it has only been used lightly for a couple of years before I switched to Concorde. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, what was the solution?

I currently use the CH Flightstick Pro joystick to fly my PMDG planes in P3Dv4.5HF2. The joystick is excellent for handling the plane, but there is one issue that annoys me. The throttle wheel (which can work really well) has a habit of "sticking" at times. Too many times if I am being honest. This has happened with all three joysticks of this type that I have used. So, I am looking for a possible alternative for a throttle. The obvious choice (since I fly the PMDG 737 almost exclusively now) would be the Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Throttle Quadrant, which also has the added benefit of a few other features that I could use (like the flaps). However, the throttle would need t…

For reasons which I cannot fathom (except for the pitiful customer support of Logitech, that is) The Pro Flight Yoke has always had an issue with their mode switch. As long as you are using the Saitek Smart Technology profile editor, it works and interfaces fine. Using it outside the profile editor and there is an issue with the mode switch...an issue as in it appears to function--Windows Game Controller setup shows the mode switch working--but flight sims will not "see" the mode switch. One fix for that has been finding the driver "SaiD0BAC.pr0" and renaming it. That has always worked for me in the past. However, this time...this time, trying to rename that driver r…

Hi all I have a very old set of Saitek (now Logitech) yoke, throttle and pedal system which has always worked well over the 20 years or so I have had it. I had a complete PC refurb this year to use MSFS and now my yoke system keeps switching off mid flight. It works for a short while then suddenly I have no yoke. I have read numerous threads about this and almost all speak of the need to have a powered USB hub feeding the yoke system. I have never needed one before for all those years. Just to test the problem out I tried unplugging the throttle quadrant from the yoke usb internal hub (my yoke system is a very original Saitek one with a circular multi pin t…

The "Dayton Audio APA150 Amp With 2 Aura Pro BST-1 Bass Shakers" Bundle is back in stock if anyone cares. I think it's a very good deal when compared to something like a ButtKicker. https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-APA150-Amp-With-2-BST-1-Bass-Shakers-Bundle-300-9018 I bought this combo from PartsExpress 3 or 4 years ago and I have one Aura Pro bolted under each butt cheek. (2 channels 75W RMS x 2) I use SimShaker for Aviators and my motherboard's onboard sound to drive it's Dayton amp. SSA uses telemetry data from simconnect to output the appropriate tactile feedback. It doesn't use the MSFS audio stream. If you have an old amp la…

Lately my Saitek Rudder Pedals have started making a loud click when they return to neutral. It does it returning from right and left rudder. I have had these rudder pedals for about 10 months. I never really noticed the click until about 2 months ago. I saw a few inquiries about this online but no solutions or explanations. My question: is anyone else getting this click with their pedals? And if so can anything be done about it?

Sorry if it's been asked before but am having issues getting the TM Boeing yoke to work with the PMDG 777. The yoke sort of works with the included prepar3d aircraft but doesn't work at all on the PMDG. The included throttle quadrant doesn't work on anything. Couple of notes, I had to mess with the registry settings to get prepar3d to even recongnize the PMDG 777, although it's advertised as compatible with prepa3d 4/5. I updated firmware and drivers on the controllers, and have run the calibration tool provided by thrustmaster. Curious if anyone else is having this problem or if there is a known fix. Have searched around not not much luck. I am not computer illi…

For the past two years, I have had no problems using Honeycomb's BTQ in P3D V4/V5, MSFS2020 and XPlane 11. Yesterday, I attempted a flight in MSFS2020. After it loaded, I noticed that the throttles were fluttering approximately mid-way through their axes in the simulator. I attempted to move the throttles using the BTQ and while they did move in the simulator, it wasn't through their full range nor could I get the throttles to move to their close position and stay there. I attempted closing down the sim and computer, then restarting and reloading a flight. The same problem occurred, I tried loading flights in both P3D and Xplane to see if the problem was isolated …

Hello, I own the saitek multi panel and radio panel and I can’t find the driver software on the website. Whenever I look at the download section for the software like it says in the manual I only find software for the flight instrument panel. I can’t find any that works with fsx and the saitek multi panel. Same thing for the radio panel I can’t find any for it. Athe only other options I could think of were buying a old software disc saitek used to sell wit, them off of eBay, or use spam which costs another 30-40 bucks and his confusing for me to program.

I have recently set up with a Tobii eye tracker and I can honestly say that it is the best add on that that I have ever purchased. Over the years I have tried all the usual things like Track IR and VR headsets etc. However, nothing has ever even got close to giving me the true feeling of immersion like this piece of kit does, there is nothing to wear or attach, it is so easy to set up and it is just so very, very life like. OK, it's not cheap, about £200, but for the amount of satisfaction I'm getting via my single 50" 4k screen, it's simply amazing and worth every penny. Phil

Hi all, I've been using the T.16000M Thrustmaster joystick, TWCS throttle and TFRP pedals. They've been serving me fine. I've been considering moving to the Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, but I can't touch one before buying so thought I'd ask for advice here. The Thrustmaster is sized for massive hands ... like I'm 12, using my dad's tools 🙂 I can use them, but feels a bit like the original Xbox controller, where every button is just 0.5cm too far away. I'm an average European, about 180 cm (5'11''), with normal sized hands and from the looks of it, the Honeycomb is equally sized for bigger hands. Are there any smaller yokes out there? Or …

Does anyone have any experience with this hardware? I have for a long time thought about building a home cockpit, but both the technical complex solutions and the costs has stopped me so far. Simonsolution desktop simulators shall be plug and play, and the costs are affordable, so this can be a solution for me. Tor Arild Danielsen

First of all, I'm using P3Dv4. I have the Thrustmaster TCA Throttle Quadrant and my throttle levers WILL NOT work in the sim when I physically move them. I'm using the Aerosoft manual that gives instructions on how to set up the throttle quadrant for the Aerosoft airbus and I've already assigned the engine control switches, crank, and the ign/start switches using the hotas generic keys and they work just fine. But the manual does not mention anything about assigning the throttle axes to the device. In the P3D Axes Assignment menu, I've assigned Engine Throttle 1 and Engine Throttle 2 to my TCA throttle quadrant and it will not do anything. I know that I can use FSUIPC b…

Hi, as I recently got a new TV I hooked my PC up and tried MSFS on it in 4k. What can I say - gorgeous! However, while I can use my Logitech wireless Mouse and Combo, I cannot use my Thrustmaster Flght Stick X obviously. So I cheked for a wireless Joystick to use but was surprised such a thing doesn't seem to exist? I always only get suggestions for standard X-Box controllers and the like. Have I missed something or do they really not exist? thanks!
