Hi everyone, I am planning to get a new gfx card n was thinking of a 780ti.Curently using a Sapphire AMD 7990HD . Questions are as follows: A) Is the 780ti better then what im using and is it worth the upgrade or to get a Nvidia Titan B) If worth the upgrade, which manufacturer would you recommend...eg: Asus,Gigabyte or MSI Thank you

Hi all, Hope some can help. This weekend I moved my second PC into the house and connected to my 37" led tv via a VGA cable for my eldest. Windows worked fine, fsx worked fine, though it kept running out of memory. When I start fs 9, it just gets to the splash screen and then makes all of windows flash on and off and fs9 hangs. Gave up in the end Anyone have and ideas??

I just purchased a Dell 30" u3011 with 2600x1600 resolution. When I run FSX with the PMDG aircraft or fly in add on scenery areas, I loose frame rates. My system: i7-2700 cpu @ 3.5GHz RAM 8.00 64 bit OS. Windows 7 frame rates bounce around at around between 12 and 20 FPS. Very jumpy at times. Very nice monitor though! Is there any way I can tweak this to get better frame rates? Thanks for any ideas Doug

Just got my notification from EVGA that the 780ti Dual Classified Hydrocopper is available. So - time for me to revisit the debate I was having with myself last fall. For P3D v2.1 (which is emerging as my primary sim) and FSX (which I haven't given up on entirely) - am I better off moving up to the 780ti, which has 3 Gigs of VRAM, or sticking with my 680 SC, which has 4 Gigs? More VRAM or more processing power? What's the current consensus?

Hi, Anyone using LCD AOC 27" monitor with Nvidia GTX 580 card ? Here's my problem: DUSK, DAY, DAWN: textures, clouds are perfect.! NIGHT: textures, clouds are BAD... No one seem to come with an answer to this problem...Few people have reported similar issues with their monitors (LCD type).... Hi All, This is not a major problem, just a bit irritating every now and again. I run with a second monitor for opening various cockpit panels and just leave it untouched for the whole flight once its all set up. However, if I need to alt enter out of full screen for any reason, when I alt enter back to full screen all the panels have moved to screen 1 and I have to one by one drag them back to screen 2. I have in the past not had to do this but cant find what might of changed, I've tried adjusting monitor settings but with no joy. Any help would be appreciated. Nvidia developed a way to capture gameplay, but in a way that doesn't harm performance as much as other tools, Fraps for example. You need to install Geforce Experience and wait for it to update itself to 1.7 (as of now, the update isn't released yet!). Hi fellas, unsure whether anyone shares my experience or in fact if anyone can help, but I recently upgraded from a 580 to a 770, with some very happy results. However, one thing that I have found, and it surprises me, is that for some reason, I seem to have acquired worse shimmering than with my 580! Now I have to admit at running the 770 with the same Inspector settings as with the 580, but after testing I can't seem to find an alternative. Has anyone experienced a similar situation or can someone share their Insp settings with me that may help? Cheers...

hello. im having some issues with blank textures on the 2d cockpit in the aersoft extended when I change from wing view to the 2d cockpit view and vice versa when im in an area where the sim has to load alot of data. (ie addon scnery is there a way to speed up the texture loading in flight when changing views. many thanks in advanced.

Hi guys, I am sorry if this has been covered before but did a quick search and couldn't find anything. I'm sure you will let me know if it has been. So the new Tech announced by Nvidia called Gsync. Personally I am SO SO SO excited by it. It essentially gets rid of the fps issue all together so regardless of your computer only being able to push out 30 fps or above everything will be as silky smooth as if it was on 60fps. I was really excited when I was thinking about what this would mean for my more modern games but then when I thought about how this would fsx I nearly peed myself. I'm using two monitors on my WIN8.1 system, one for flying FSX and another to study enroute charts and approach plates while flying. Everytime when I switch between these monitors (active windows) my Thrustmaster HOTAS X is disabled and removed from the gamecontrollers page in FSX (no joystick and throttle control) but it is still visible in the Windows controllers page and is responding on inputs (settings and calibrate). What's going wrong?!

Hi, Does anyone have advice on the latest and best NVIDIA Graphics Card for FSX? I currently have a GTX 275 -1792 MB card mounted on an Asus P6T MB. I'm running Widows 7-64bit with 12 gig DDR3 ram, and an i7-920 processor overclocked to 4.0. I am brand new to this. I'm an aircraft technician looking for a hobby associated with the same line of work im in. So I would love to get into FS. I don't want to just go out and buy a computer to use for FSX though. I would like to build my own. Which is why I am here to get as much information I can get from you, much more experienced FSX and hardware users. Budget at this point doesnt matter. What I'm looking for is information based on brands, types of hardware, and general prices I should be going for on Motherboards, Drivers, Hard Drives, Monitors, Etc... before I go out and spend money. When I fly FSX I like to connect the HDMI to my LCD TV with Virtual Cockpit and drag a 2D panel onto my laptop screen for a better view of instruments. Hello Together, I was wondering something and have not seemed to figure this out yet. I have a Avatar Gaming FX 63770C;AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz 64-bit Six Core Processor with 8MB L3 Cache and 10 Gigs of Ram A Nvidia 650 Graphics Card with 2 MB Ram. With default Aircraft and high settings I get 120 fps.
