Hello, I have 3 Dell monitors as follow; 1- U3014 30" exclusively for work. 2- U2713HM 27" for flying FSX and P3D (no games ;-)) I connected the 2 27" in surround mode to GTX780 card but could not make use of bezel correction from NVIDIA control panel. I dug out my old TH2Go digital, installed and bezel correction grayed out as well. searching the net reveals that surround mode not supported by any party due to centering problems with most of the games (aiming cross and some other things will be covered) and they elect 3 monitors, but FSX and P3D can handle this centering issue because that is where windshield center support bar is on most of airplanes …

Hello all, may I pick your brains.... My Gigabyte Z68X-UD3-B3 has on board sound (azalia) The video card Asus GTX560 has on board (Nvidia) sound. To minimise performance loss in P3D or FSX whilst using sound should I a) use on board sound and route through the video card to the HDM/DVII socket, or b) just use on board sound, or c) install separate sound blaster card (I have an old one spare) so not using cpu or gpu, or d) use the Asus graphics card for sound, or e) get a life and stop being OCD about FSX fps. I just downloaded the new beta drivers and shadow play works great. You can now record in window mode and it works perfect in FSX. I just recorded a 6 minute video at 1080p and it only 959mb.

I am slowing getting my pc together, and will wait for Haswell and the at that moment latest single fastest GPU from Nvidia. I am building with water cooling etc, but actually my biggest problem is the monitor.... I really would like to go at least 27" but I know, that I have to watch out for high resolution. Do I need IPS? how much Hz? Reflection? night flying? What about 16:10 ratio or others? Does it need to be a gaming monitor for FSX ( tering / lag ) I am enjoying scenery as well as fluent ( high FPS ) flying so I would like to now what's the best monitor for this at the moment? hope someone could point me to some good monitors for fsx.

I am using 3-Asus 25" monitors w/ display ports for the outside view. They are connected to a Matrox Th2go.DP. edition. The Matrox is pluged into the Asus ENGTX-570DCII /2DIS /1280MDS that has a Display Port out. I have a forth monitor connected to the DVI out on this card for the main instrument panel. The problem is i open fltsim in the center of the center monitor and load up the flight. The picture size at this time is about 8"x8'' sq. I then click on the maximize box at the top right corner and the screen will only maximize to fill only the center screen. The only thing left is to go to Views and click on Full screen to get the picture to open across all 3 screens. …

I am looking to purchase a large monitor for FSX and don't know if it would cause any problems. Does anyone have a 47" monitor that works well with FSX? I would like to get the best, I currently have a 22" Samsung and it is just too small. Cost does not matter. I have an Alienware that was listed as having 2 GTX 295 video cards. I was having problems with the monitor turning off by itself, so I replaced the only 295 card I saw in the case with another one. Everything seems to work, but now in Device Manager I only have one 295 card listed, whereas before it listed 2 cards. Can someone explain how it can have 2 cards listed when only one card is physically in the case? How will this now affect my use of FSX? Will it work as it did before?

Hi everyone, Currently use Dxtory for recording gameplay, FSX included. However I have for a while had my eye on the avermedia HD Live Gamer PCI Card. I bought one, installed in and here are the issues... I use 3 monitors of equal spec, model etc. The centre one is my fsx monitor/game monitor and is connect via HDMI to the GPU. the other two screens are DVI connected. When i link the capture card into the centre monitor using a hdmi cable, the resolution on the screen changes. Hello guys In the future i would like to migrate on P3D but actually my video card is very poor.. so i would like a new GTX The gtx 780 3G seems very nice but i heard many people says "for p3d the video card is important" But the price is important too anyway, the gtx780 3g has good performance even if there is a big overcast with a big traffic ai on major airport ? Hi. I am in a process of building new PC. I was thinking to buy GTX780 and I found that there are 8 of different types of 780, like Classified, MCI lightning, MSI gaming, Super jetstream. Same thing I was told in computer store. I am wondering which one is the good one for FSX. After reading review I come to a conclusion that 780 Classified has better performance but I could be wrong. when flying at night on fsx 737 ngx its impossible to see outside its just pure darkness and i've gone and messed it up by going in nvidia control panel and changing the colour settings. can someone help me with changing these settings thanks my monitor is asus vg248qe lcd

I want to built a flight simulator in my home like the VPT of AEROSIM COMPANY. I use one computer with two video card to drive eight touch-screens, but I found it can not touch right. I touch the other seven screens but it only response in the main screen. I can't understand how to solve this problem. Can you help me.

Still having trouble selecting a video-card, the requirements are use in FSX plus maybe Prepar3D and a possible 4k monitor in the next year. Many suggest the GTX780/770 but it's too expensive plus I want at least 3/4Gb memory and many GTX770's have only 2Gb. Also a price requirement of under $350. My system: W7 Pro X64 - Asus Sabertooth 990 FX R2.0 -AMD 8350 8 core 4.33 gig - Asus GTX 760 (Nvidia) GeForce - Asus VG278HR 27" Monitor. Originally I had a GTX 560 TI with the 27" Asus monitor which worked fine in 3d. Upgraded to the 760 and it worked ok and then stopped after I upgraded the driver. The previous driver was 331.65. I deleted the new driver and went back to the 331.65, but still no 3D. I heve done the set up several times and it works in the set up but not in MSFX 3d. Why is it that when I set my Nvidia Inspector settings to MS FSX, on the next re-boot it reverts back to Global whatever, despite clicking the 'Apply Changes' button? I thought once set and changes applied, it stayed put.

I use Nvidia surround with 3 DELL 24" monitors. I get low Fps (around 11fps) with my Evga GTX 680 2GB Signature 2 SOC during heavy scenery use, weather and flying online... I want to upgrade and buy Evga GTX 780 Ti 3GB. I need the expert advise, will I see big difference ? Thx all for replaying!
