So I finally reinstalled all my software on my PC thinking that I had some software issues. I took my first flight with voxatc on the clean install, and sad to say I still had nothing but problems. Everything seemed fine until I took off. As soon as I took off vox atc terminated my radar. I was shocked!!!! I then proceeded to finish my Sid. As I reached my cruise altitude I had to disable and reenable voxatc, and everything seemed fine for about two min when voxatc tells me to turn to a heading for a hold of 5 legs. 15 min later I heard nothing from voxatc. I then proceeded to fly back on my flight plan. I then again disabled an reenabled voxatc. Everything seemed fine wh…

Now that I have VoxATC running really good in P3D, are there any voice pack addons worth looking at ? Cheers

I see that you can change the pronunciation of procedure names. Can you do the same for airline names. I'm getting tired of "US" AIR"

Hi all, I have been trying out the VOXATC demo and I definitely love it. There is only one very annoying thing: I discover that VOXATC would only recognize one runway in airports with parallel runways (including ATIS). The default ATIS is working fine. With AI planes this creates a terrible traffic jam at big airports. Of course, I can always request another runway to use, but still seeing a long queue when taxing and hearing frequent "miss approach" isn't great. I did a search on the forum and found two related posts, the recommendation is to manually change the AFCAD file so the runways are either for takeoff or landing but not both, but this is really not so co…

Hello So I have owned vox for nearly four weeks now and out of 40+ flights with it I get asked today for the first time by atc to reduce speed to 180kts so what I want to know is what condition triggers this response I was flying atc vectors at 220kts towards Cardiff ? Thanks.

I have been trying to test this program for three days now. Everything seems to go fine except when I'm at the runway hold. I see the red lights to wait there but ATC never gets back to me. I actually waited there for 28 minutes before I just ended the flight. I really want this program to work I really like it. But I can't do much if it never goes past holding short at the runway. I am trying the demo and noticed UT2Bridge on the download page. What is it? What does it do? Is it necessary?

How does Voxatc control planes on the ground? I have done a couple of flights from Stansted (UK2000 Xtreme scenery with latest AFD). Its a single runway airport yet it seems to want to direct all aircraft (and me) across the runway to the hold point instead of traversing the taxiway parallel and adjacent to the Terminal. Landing AI aircraft also seem to want to travel to the very end of the runway before exiting causing plenty of Go Arounds

Ive been using this ATC program very happily for 3 years now the only gripe was no enroute traffic however the latest version is giving me plenty of it over 15 test flights. Im currently half way between cairns and the gold coast with several aircraft kicking up contrails and labelled in red. Anyone else experiencing this?

VOXATC calls my Cirrus SR22 N8872B -> Sir two two 8872 Bravo. Is there anyway to have VOXATC say Cirrus 8872 Bravo? VOXATC calls my Cessna correctly. Thanks, Ray

Hi All Just decided to introduce ATC into my Flightsim experience and trying VoxATC. I have set things up as per the manual, ran the indexer, set the aircraft up, loaded the Flightplan etc. When I start VoxATC all I see to get is told to tune to Ground ( on whatever freq ) and just 3 menus options: 1) Request taxi for local flight 2) Request taxi for circuit 3) Radio Check. I have even tried converting the fxml file to flt format, but thats not helped either. I am using P3D v2.2 Any help or suggestions would be excellent. Many thanks

Hi Guys, Just done my first flight and have a few observations/queries. 1) STAR - Does ATC randomly assign a STAR or a vector depending on a certain set of circamstances or should it always assign a STAR if on IFR and the last waypoint is the start of a STAR? I was issued vectors despite last waypoint being the start of a STAR? 2) SHould ATC monitor your position ie altitude and heading as I planned my Flight Level wrong so I flew what it should have been whereas ATC assigned me another altitude but I never got a warning about it

Hello ! I've still the same issue : After loaded a VFR flight plan with P3Dv2.1, voxatc only suggest to do circuit or local flight. It was the same with p3d v2 and using flight plan saved with fsx... thank you for helping me :(

Hi All Having finally decided to use VoxATC I just have a couple of questions. I have tried the tutorials, which I kind of got. But what I would like to know is when you start from scratch, what is the correct steps ? I'm using Aerosoft Airbus X with FS2Crew. Do I setup plane, load Flightplan into FMC etc and then start VoxATC ? When I bring up Vox while in cockpit, I get 3 menu options : Request Taxi for Local Flight, Request Taxi For Circuit, Radio Check . Is this correct ? Any advice would be great Cheers

Hi all, I am experiencing a persistent problem with VoxATC assigning me an approach into PHJR (John Rogers Field, Oahu, Hawaii) when using the option 'no vectors to approach' in the flightplanExtras menu of VoxATC v6.34 It might be a long explanation but let me try to condense it a bit. It all started when I got fed up with the missing GPS runway 04R approach into PHJR. I decided to create it in ADE X exactly after the examples of standard FSX GPS approaches. Compiled the airport, 'replaced' it for the stock one, ran VoxATC indexer and UT2Bridge. After testing with VoxATC (not ticking the 'no vectors to approach' option) it all works flawlessly. I just bought VOX and having a problem with the indexer. It gets stuck at Vienna apl for a while and then continues, but when i do a flight wierd things happen with the AI aircrafts. They sometimes taxi in circles, they land with the nose up all the way to the gate or taxi on the grass. The main problem is they won't take off. They get cleared and taxi into take off position and hold until they disappear. It doesn't happen at all airports but mostly at add on airports. I unstalled 6.34 and went back to 6.2 and it works fine and the indexer is much faster and doesn't get stuck as with 6.34. Anybody has the same problem or anybody can advice me on how to fix it?

I have been looking for days for a solution, i can't even get started with VOXATC...it's useless if i cant get a solution the this Speech recognition . My problem is From the speech recog control panel I select "Start Speech Recognition", and this is the error it gives: Title: Wizard could not launch, Heading: No Audio Input Device Found, Body:Make sure your audio hardware is working properly and check you audio configuration in the audio devices and sound themes control panel. I am trying to use VoxATC 6.34 with Prepar3D v2.2. I am using a CH Eclipse Yoke and HOTAS Warthog Throttle as controllers, but only the latter is recognized by VoxATC. How can I setup VoxATC to recognize the Eclipse yoke? I am trying to assign a button on the yoke for PTT using the VoxATC joystick wizard, Does anyone else have experience of the CH yokes and how did you get VoxATC to recognize these products, particularly with the most recent version (6.34)?

Are there add on Speech Recognition programs that i can install on Windows 7 and use with VOXATC X

Just to add to the list: Here's what I get: 1. VOXPOPServer EXE will not load (this has already been address...waiting on the fix) 2. ATIS order for US not correct any more...use to be Zulu time then winds then visibility, now I hear zulu time visibility then winds...etc. 3. Departing traffic never depart. They pile up at the end of the runway, facing the wrong direction. I'm using Traffic X (Use to work on previous version). 4. Controller speech does not pause in the right places anymore...for example getting an IFR clearance it now tells you the departure frequency but there's no pause between alt and depart frequency. When changing views; ie inside to outside and back again, I lose the Vox panel and have to reselct it from the views menu. Anyway to keep it there?
