Since installing the update vox is not recognizing my voice. i've run through the voice training again with no problem, i've checked the voice recongnition settings are set to English - US. I can hear vox and the AI aircraft aswell the the click when i key the mic. Any suggestion would be appreciated

Is anyone of you guys able to make a local flight without a flightplan. Say for example you just want to depart your airport for a scenic flight and then return. I used to be able to request a local flight but these days it says "no ATC unit available" or something to that extent. I am flying the pmdg 777 and I am having difficulty getting Vox to work. I am trying to do IFR flights. I build it with FSC and then download the flight plans with simroutes (one copy of pln to fsx and another rte to pmdg). I can get my flightplan to show up in the 777 FMC and it shows up in FSX. However, when I launch Vox it considers it a VFR flight and gives me all sorts of problems. I used to use EFB with the 737ngx and didn't have a problem with vox. I have followed the instructions on how to setup a vox ifr plan (including saving the flight), but I am still running into difficulty. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I did look through this forum and found other people have had the same issues but, I didn't find any solution in any of the threads. At first, after starting P3D and loading the VFR flight the manual directs, clicking the "enable" button for Voxatc would result in Vox ATC crashing with a fatal error... after a few attempts, that stopped happening and I got to the screen that tells me to tune in the ATIS frequency and listen to ATIS. So far, so good until I am told to tune in the international clearance frequency. That gives me the prompt of what to say, keying the mic with the space bar, to get a radio check. No response at all. Both FSX and Prepar3d lack ATC at a lot of regional airports and I've been looking for an ATC addon that provides ATC at those as well as supporting VFR flight. Both Pro ATC and Radar Contact provide ATC service at the airports but neither actually support VFR flights... Pro ATC not at all and Radar Contact only in the sense that it will allow a VFR flight plan to be loaded but then treats it as an IFR flight. From the advertising on Voxatc's site, it fully supports VFR flights but I don't see any indication of whether or not it supplies ATC support at the airports where FSX and Prepar3d didn't place it. I hope my question is clear! :mellow:

Sorry if this has been posted prior but I can't seem to find exactly the same issue. I recently installed the VoxATC X is 6.49 and wanted to add the new voices voxpop voice for more selection. I installed the VoxPopbase and everytime I run it it crashes. Now /im assuming it needs to run to use the voices as thats what I've seemed to have read so far with individuals not getting the voices to work.. Any suggestions would be appreciated Mark

Waypoints missing from the Vox FPX ,flight plan has all waypoints but vox is not placeing all into the FPX ,vox flightplan shows all the correct waypoints too,why are they not in the Flight Plan Xtras?.

Hi simmers, i planned a vfr flight from Bremerton (KPWT) to Black Diamond (95WA) via the Seahawk-Transition Seattle (KSEA) to check out how VOXATC will handle this. After departure VOXATC offered flight following, what was accepted. But nothing happened while flying towards the Seattle control zones (even no entry in enroute menu). So i passed Seattle area without any disturbance by ATC. What did I do wrong ? (beside my english) Ralf

Hello there, I might have found the reason for the Fatal Error massage. Not the one before clearance as I have never had one. But, the ones before take off, en route or approach. I am not %100 sure because I just figured it out now and I am not at home and I won't be until three hours later and I am not I sure if I would be able to test it then or not. I won't bore you with details. I will just want say that the latest version was working fine when it was first released then I started getting fatal error massages and now it is working again. I have been watching and reading the forums and websites regarding Voxatc. I want to purchase but, regardless of price i have a few questions..... 1. I don't normally fly out of busy airports, i.e.: KORD, KMDW, etc. Can I use the program at smaller airports even if there is no tower? 2. Will i be able to use the program for flight following? 3. I think i will be able to "add" facilities. Is that correct? I appreciate any and all help in advance.....thanks!

Hi guys, I've got a couple of queries regarding AI traffic using VOXATC. 1) I've noticed that when an aircraft is asked to hold short at the runway threshold, all the lights of the aircraft turn off (nav, logo, wing etc) and then when it is cleared to takeoff or taxi to the gate they all come back on again. Is anyone else seeing this? 2) All my AI traffic always taxi to the end of the runway to exit the runway. So far I've checked at EGGP (UK2000) and EGLL (Aerosoft) and this always happens. Anyone else seeing this? 3) Lastly is it possible to not process GA traffic as Vox seems to use my FSX models and these are FPS hungry!

Guys, I just noticed that VOX 6.49 was available for download on the VoxAtc website. I believe this may be a new version. I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet. This is what has been changed/enhanced in this version: 3 December 2014 6.49 ReleasedImproved weather interface. VoxATC now recognises changed weather conditions, particularly at the destination airport Active traffic now generated at larger airports at lower traffic settings

Is anyone else having a problem where VOXATC constantly switches back and forth between two ATCC frequencies? Example... on a short flight from KMDW to KDSM, after contacting Chicago Center I am asked to switch to Chicago center on a different frequency. About a minute later I am asked to switch to Chicago Center on the original frequency. This continues back and forth every minute or two until I am given instructions to switch to KDSM Approach. It's making me crazy!

Does anyone know if there is a new version in the pipeline? Several posts report various bugs so I just wondered if anything was being done?

Hello When I run the panel setup tool I get no option to install it for my milviz 737, it has installed and works with every other aircraft I have installed but not the milviz 737. I have run the indexer several times and it has not found it, any ideas ?

Trial flights worked well using copilot so I purchased. I'm P3d. Since then has a few problems getting stuck at the holding point at EGCC. Traffic backs up behind me but I'm forgotten? 0 shows just one option 0 return - which worries me. I'm using Mindstar GNS (which is great) but I have to tune radios manually even though I'm using copilot. Any suggestions please and anyone using Mindstar with VOXATC?

hi have just purchased vox and installing and when the index process starts it gets to aircraft indexing and just hanges . this is prepar3d v2.4 and on windows 7 64 bit thanks for any help

Hi! I've recently installed voxatc 6.46, I've started it up with only the anna voice and everthing worked fine, now I've installed voxpop server and 4 voicepacks, now it's taking forever to initialize (more than 10 minutes) and I haven't even heard one 'test'. Any suggestions? Kind regards

I have installed VOXATC 6.46 into P3d V2.4 and completed the setup and voice training. Everything went well. At random times VOXATC does not seem to recognise radio frequency changes once I have made them as requested by the program. It just sits there with the message to change frequencies even though the correct one is dialled in and that radio selected. Anyone else experienced this and if so is there a fix?

I solved the "Fatal Error" problem by deleting my previous voxatc version and also deleting voxpop base and all voxpop voices. I then installed VOXATC 6.46, voxpop base and the voxpop voices. Worked great.

Tried installing the 7 day trial from the VOXATC website, but keep getting: "vox atc could not access network location" Am unable to install.. Tried changing compatibility and run as admin. No luck Maniac59

Hello! I've just bought VoxATC v6.46 but it is something really wrong here. I'm opening voice configuration and when i try to play one of my voice i only get error thing: voice config has stopped working. Trying to enable VoxATC in p3d too, but no luck.. Fatal error please disable voxatc. I can't even open VoxPop servel control: VoxPopServerControl has stopped working I have tried to install voxatc with Virtual FSX enabled and disabled, and i olso tick the box for a P3D v2 install. Voxatc clears me for specific STARS, but my question is: can it clear me for specific approaches, like for example "NBD B approach" etc? Thanks
