Just tried the latest version at Dubai with WOAI aircraft. It looked lovely with the gates filled, however no one aircraft moved, there was no AI chatter or anything.

Any major issues? What is the best way to control AI density, since both programs have sliders for that? Actually, is it a good idea at all to have them both injecting traffic, instead of just leaving UT2 doing the AI job and using VoxATC for ATC communications? Many thanks!

Hello, I have been using VoxATC for quite a long time, but only recently started using it with FSGRW. That is when my problems with "wrong" STARs and tailwind landings started. Based on what I have read here on avsim, VoxATC seems to "lock in" the destination weather when you first lauch ProATC. This seems to be quite strange and would explain my problems. When I have the FSGRW injected to FSX before I launch VoxATC, there is no weather available at my destination. It will only be set, when I get about 100nm from my destination. I have confirmed this with Aivlasoft's EFB. This causes VoxATC to report wrong weather in the arrival airport ATIS even after FSG…

Hi there My Voxatc setup is complete with the new navdata of leveld and correctly configurated. I create the flight plan with routefinder (enabling sid and star) then import it in flight sim commander and export the generated flightplan for FSX, and the FMC of pmfg aircraft. My flight plan start with the first waypoint of a SID and end with the first waypoint of the STAR. My problem is that often VOX assign me the SID for the departure but never assign me the STAR for the approach but everytime vector me to the runway. SO my question is: where I go wrong? Hi all, First of all, Voxatc is a great software and i am very happy with it. However i was wondering how voxatc reads the afcads. when i use voxatc , most of the time there is only one active runway for both takeoff and landing (example kden flightbeam : only 35R in use with wind at 010/04) i ran the voxatc indexer and ut2bridge after each new scenery installation ( sliders in ut2 and fsx traffic at 0). with the same weather at kden flightbeam , if i don't use voxatc and set traffic via ut2 i have traffic on four runways 34L/34R/35L/35R. So is there a way to have more active runway with voxatc?

I upgraded to 6.49 last night for Prepar3D. I uninstalled the previous version as instructed and installed the new one. Install went 99% fine. I noticed the uninstaller did not remove previous VoxATC entries from the panel.cfg files of my aircraft and just installed new ones. I fixed that as it was interfering with my ability to push buttons in the virtual cockpit. Everything looks fine except for one horrific thing that the previous version did not do. The simulation will now pause for a second every few minutes. All sound cuts out, all the lights in the virtual cockpit I am in will fade like there is a power problem, the VoxATC window will clear whatever t…

If I have Voxatc, it's there much to gain in buying another traffic addon? I've done a search and couldn't find an answer to this. There's loads about Voxatc working with ut2 etc, if you already have ut2, but I wondered about buying ut2 when you already own Voxatc. Thanks.

Afternoon. I'm using FS2C voice edition on several of my aircraft. When issuing certain commands to FS2C VoxATC will react to those if the automatic FO is turned on. I want to know if there is a way to "mute" VoxATC's FO so it doesnt react to commands when I talk to FS2C? I can find no option anywhere to set a "hotkey" to softmute (like you can in FS2C). Any ideas? Thanx. -Rick

A question on circuits. Every time I get at clearance im given a VFR departure clearance where i should be given a circuit direction, anyone any ideas?? I have a VFR flight plan loaded starting and ending at the same airfield but no joy. Has anyone elses found this problem OR got it working correctly When i report downwind eveything works as it should but not being given a correct clearance with circuit direction lets it down a bit. I set up my NGX at EGPF load my FP from PFPX into FSX and set the alt and click ok. Problem is VOXATC is assigning me the wrong SID routing it should be NGY2H but instead DCS6A to DCS! My first waypoint in my plan is NGY then DCS. Somehow VOXATC isn't picking up my first waypoint NGY but instead DCS.

Voxatc is an interesting ATC program and I do like it but, I want to remove it from Prepar3d for a while so it won't interfere with other ATC addons I want to experiment with. The problem is, I don't see an "uninstall" option... not sure of the proper way of getting it out of Prepar3d and I don't want to go messing around and having more problems than I can handle...

I did my first IFR flight using voxatc from CYYZ to KJFK. Everything is going good up to departure where I'm assigned a simple arrow2 sid and then told to fly direct to putol being my first waypoint on my flightplan. Fine, but I was having some trouble figuring out the FMS and ended up zig zagging waaaay off course. Okay, my bad but while voxatc seemed to do a good job nagging about my altitude, it couldn't seem to care less about where I was actually flying during my route. It still would hand me off, even as far as Ottawa centre where I'm not supposed to be according to my flight plan. Is this normal? Shouldn't I have been vectored or interrogated or something?

It's not a huge deal but when requesting FSS to open a flight plan, I get two controllers responding, one after the other, that they'll open my flight plan. They both respond in the same way. It's just a bit strange and I would love to know what causes it so I can do things differently... it would be a real bummer if they disagreed on what was to be done.

HiI have just installed the demo of VoxATC X with FSX. I tried the tutorial flight and this little piece of software is actually pretty cool. However, I cannot get it use my framerate friendly World of AI aircrafts. The manuel says that I should turn of AI aircrafts within FSX and use the slider in VoxATC. That gives me plenty of AI aircrafts, but only the ones that come out of the box with FSX. I want my WOAI planes back (and get rid of FSX's built in ones)... any ideas?As a side note, would it be possible to let VoxATC use more than two different voices (male/female) for the synthesis and would it be possible to ad some background radio noise in the radio chatter like t…

I am testing v6.49 for the first time yesterday and today with Active Sky Next on a workstation PC. All is good initially. In FSX I get a fatal error just after lift off (did two test flights re-booted pc between flights same error) ... heading for my first waypoint. In P3D v2.4 I got the fatal error during taxi on first and only test flight. Anybody else seeing fatal errors? Wonder if the Beta testers have ever seen this happen?

Not sure if its a requirement to load up a saved flight with flight plan in order for fox to actually recognize helicopter vs airplane. Can someone confirm this please. Sitting on heli pad Vox should recognize and give clearance to depart at pilots discretion, instead a helicopter getting taxi instructions to follow taxi way.. Suggestion please Mark

Hi, I bought Zabaware TTS reader with two AT&T voices, mike16 and crystal16. Zabaware reader and Windows Ease of access work, but I can't use the voices on VoxATC (MS Anna and VoxPop work perfectly). I can select them on the Voice Manager, but when clicking on Speak I hear "Voice required equals name equals mike16" or the same with "crystal16", depending on the selected voice. Weird is that this is said using the correct voices (i.e. mike16 or crystal16). Same on VoxATC in FSX: instead of saying "Test" (or any other text if I continue), the correct voices only say "Voice required equals name equals mike16". I see that there are some airports (EGGP Liverpool) for example where VOX doesn't handle the airspace correctly and simply sends you on your way after takeoff without routing you under control out through the CTR. The developer said about a year ago he'd look to fix it but I've not seen anything yet...? Have I missed anything? Also, one particularly good feature for VFR pilots is that airfields can have specific customised VRP's (I think VOX ships with one for EGGD Bristol) but they are done through DLLs, something which the average person can't mess with. I have VOXAtc 6.2, having trouble with it. Just getting started with it so I do not know what is the problem. I am flying GA planes (F1 172, Carendo Beech 58, etc). With a flight plan from a controlled airport (KAVP) it seems to work ok. But from some small GA airports I cannot get VOXAtc to work, I get the "NO ATC unit found" message. I have run the indexer, no addon airports. After being assigned a runway and vectors, I would ask for full ILS approach then in case of multiple approaches, vox would pick one for me but not necessarily than one I want. Is there a format to ask for a specific approach?
