Hey! I think about getting VOXATC mainly for VFR flying. Now I want to know if VFR is well operated or if it is just an "yes this is also integrated" option beside of IFR? I want to use it with A2A planes on different small airfields all over the world. Is there much other VFR traffic? Pros and Conts? Thank you!

Definitely using STAR next time and ignoring the ATC. Forward to 3 min 40 seconds not good job by ATC, saved by the pilot LOL Landing ended up being VFR I am not best pilot didn't know the ILS for Rwy 26 LOL, will try again next time well prepared and using STAR only ignoring ATC completely until established on STAR but still whats up with VOX? they gave me STAR TULSI3A if I recall well before I input it in my FMC here he comes starts vectoring me.. Hi, I'm sorry about this noobish question but I couldn't find an answer to it. In the manual it says: "To be assigned a SID or STAR, your flight plan must have some waypoints that correspond with waypoints in the SIDs at your departure airport and/or STARs at your destination." So I reckon no flight plan containing SID/STAR needs to be loaded beforehand? But what does the above even mean? Do I have to rename the waypoints and if so how do I know what to name them? Regards

im using my traffic professional x i have default ai disabled when i let fsx generate the traffic i put it at 40 percent and i get tons of traffic like 100 planes with vox atc i ahve it at 60 percent and i get very little just wondering whats a good setting by the way my name is AARON Mack

Hi, After installing all the voice packs I noticed that all of the male voice packs sound as the female one, in game and in the control panel? Now I'm considering buying this software since I really like it but unless I don't get all the sound packs working I won't since I don't want for the ATC and Pilots to sound the same. Can anyone help?

Hi Guys, I had voxatc working fine up to the last time I used it back in April running on win7 64 on my MacBookPro Bootcamp installation. Last night, after loading FSX, it did not complete its initialisation so I tried to reinstall the software thinking some file had gone missing. It won't re-install returning the following message: InstallUtilLib.dll:CorBindToRuntimeHost [hr=0x800700c1]:%1 is not a valid Win 32 application The same message appears if I try to uninstall the application. Any advise is welcomed as I'm going to be away from my main simulator at home for months and I need to practice com…

Does anyone know if there are any plans in the future to make the first officer able to speak in VFR flights as well as IFR? This would be a game changer. Thanks John

hi, i have a demo version of voxatc and i love it . I am seriously planning to buy it but i have a query. I have ### AI traffic installed and it is the best ai traffic package. Before voxatc, i could see plentyof emirate A 380s at dubai airport following 2014 flight schedule. Similarly, i could see singapore A380s at changi airport, Ba 380s ar heathrow. After voxatc with my FSX atc slider to zero and voxatc slider to 100%, i dont see a snigle A380 in any airport. Also,ther are too many american airlines and icelandic air aircrafts at heathrow. It doe not make any sense with these ai. Is ther any solution to it?

What I mean is - can I interact with the ATC robot without having to actually speak to my headset microphone, and instead use menus with options ? I am about to test the trial during the weekend, and... btw, should I want to invest on an AI add-on to go with it, which one do you recommend ? Thx !

Hello, Seems the VoxPop Server Control no longer works since installing VoxAtc 6.34. During the VoxPop launch, a message Windows says "VoxPop Server Control has stopped working" then it close. I uninstalled and reinstalled VoxPop Base + Voices and VoxAtc 6.34 twice (complete uninstallation, folder + reg clean). VoxPop Server Control works perfectly with the VoxAtc previous version ! Hi, I am trying the VoxAtc demo, and I did not find and answer for the next question, Is there a possibility to request a diferent runway when requesting clearance? I am only able to request a runway change when requesting taxi instructions, but the problem is that the clearance controller assigned me a STAR for the broadcasted ATIS runway, and when requesting a change to ground control, the assigned STAR remains the same. I read the manual, but does not says nothing about that. Am I forgetting something? Another question that has nothing to do with the above, Is there some way to skip some readbacks pressing a key from the keyboard? Sometimes I found myself deal…

I am considering purchasing this product. One question I had was how it handles GA traffic at non-towered airports. I realize this is an ATC program but it also manages all the traffic. Does the program establish flights at non towered airports and have them call out their positions, locations on the pattern, etc even though they are not necessarily interacting with a controller. Just seems like a default traffic/ATC is relatively barren even with sliders maxed out. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks, Brett

I have spoken with Tegwyn about all the problems i have with voxatc. He need the logfiles for try to solve the problems. This mean we can not expect the release of a patch that solve all the problems if we do not report the problems with a log file. If you have some problem with voxatc and you want to see it repaired, please install the voxatc log tool and report to the developer the problem with the log file. ATC keep's asking me to squawk 3013 and ident, which I do, but it is unrecognised and he keeps repeating this request. I would welcome any suggestions on how to overcome this, regards Nick. Simulator FSX:Steam Aircraft: Milviz B55

The following is a typical problem. I approach EDDM from the north and ATC instructs me to follow the AKANU 2A STAR but as soon as I start I am vectored away. Although the wind is from 250' and 18kts (I use FSGRW dynamic weather) I was vectored to runway 8R instead of runway 26R/L. This seems to be happening all the time.Does VoxAtc ALWAYS vector no matter what? I tried pressing 0 to request another runway but the only choice I had in the window was 0 : Return. Is this a common problem or is it just me? If the former it needs fixing. If the latter I need fixing.

This request was granted, I listened to ATIS and reported back without a problem.but ATC did not tell me to descend any further. I asked to descend several times but was told "not at this time" each time. I ended up flying over the airport at 16000ft. My suspicion is that ATC intended me to descend at a certain point but at that time I was listening to ATIS. Hi all, I made an IFR flight on my C172 from BIVM to BIKF (Iceland) yesterday, with VoxATC. Mostly uneventful: I was cleared to EL1W departure, and at EL direct to KEF; once near KEF, I was told to expect vectors to ILS RWY 29. However, as ATIS had said RWY 02 was in use, I had prepared that approach beforehand, so I asked for ILS RWY 02. The strange thing happened then. I was cleared to ILS RWY 02, but told to report at SARAM. I could not find it on my charts. After some googling, I found SARAM was a holding point in ILS RWY 02 approach to BIKF some time ago (found it on some 2011 charts), but it is not present on current approach plates. My home airport is KBWI so I like to fly there in the sim. I use the PMDG 737. When I land at KBWI, ATC directs me to land on 33R. Even if I hit 0 after approach vectors, I am not given the option to pick 33L, because ATC is taking off aircraft on 33L and landing aircraft on 33R. The problem is 33R is a 5,000 ft general aviation runway and not appropriate for airliner traffic. Is there a file I can edit somewhere so VOXATC will not send airline traffic to 33R at KBWI? Hi, Since I'm using VoxAtc I'm always assigned with the same type of arrivals or departures while there is different types (Rnav, Cda, Conventional). In my case, departing LEBL Atc always give me a conventional SID which is longer than the RNAV counterpart. And arriving LEBL, LEPA or LEIB always give me a CDA STAR (Continuos Descent Approach) which in real live is rarely used and limited to some days and periods. So my questiom is... Is there any way to change the priority giving STAR or SID's? So the Atc will give me a RNAV STAR or SID when availble instead convential? Thanks!

Hi there, I have been re-installing VOXATC but this time in FSX SE and am trying to setup the ptt on my Saitek proflight yoke. The thing is, when I clear assignments and then click on assign press to talk it is getting filled in, ie. button 8 and status released and on the display toggle the same thing happens. I've got Saitek yoke, rudder, throttle and switch panel, radio panel and multi panel. Whenever I had to re-install my FS, iether FSX or P3D it always worked no problem. Is this something to do with FSX SE? It is my first time on this FS. I'm at a loss here as I've tried it with FS running, without it running, all panels disconnected ect, it made no …

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if I even understand VFR with VOXATC. I have no problem setting up and flying IFR flights, but VFR is kicking my &@($*. Starting on page 46, unless I'm wrong, it's were I see information on VFR flying, starting with the flight service station. However, what do I have to do in VOXATC setup in order to make it work, or how do I make my own VFR flight plan for VOXATC to recognize it?

Hi, I looked in the forum and I found similar problems but I did not find a solution. I have done the VFR tutorial with no problem, all as expected, but when trying a different VFR flight of my choice I encounter a problem. Before running FSX I run the VoxAtc Indexer. Run FSX, I made a VFR flightplan from LEPA to LEMH with FSX default flight planner, loaded de flight, saved the flight. Enabled VoxAtc and listen to ATIS, then Vox Panel tell me to contact Palma Tower. I request departures instructions saying /Palma Tower ECJSM will depart west for Capdepera at FL035/ and then ATC does not give me any clearance or departures instructions, I am only able to request st…

Might even be more often than that...usually when I'm arriving at an airport. It'll tell me to switch frequencies and then the readout says to change frequency again and then I'm talking to the departure at the airport I left. Is this happening to anyone else? Any fix other than restarting VOX (at a very busy time)?
