I've never had a traffic vector with VOX. The manual states "enroute traffic" instructions and that they will vector you. I've had several TCAS advisories and multiple near misses with nothing at all from the controller.

Would someone describe in detail how to install Vox ATC into my PMDG Boeing 777. Robert Keeley

When I had VoxATC in FSX, I was able to include the VoxPop voices, which I normally used only for pilot voices, since I only use my IVONA 2 voices for the controllers. However, I noticed the in the 7.3 Beta P3D version, it only recognizes my IVONA 2 voices and Microsoft Anna, but it did not recognized the VoxPop voices. Is this the way is suppose to be, or am I suppose to install the VoxPop voices in a different location?

The VOX 7.2 beta doesn't cost anything, but the trial runs out after 60 days, just like if you downloaded prior payware versions without purchasing. After the trial, 7.2 says you have to purchase a license, but there isn't any way to purchase it. Xplane 11 allowed purchase of the Beta, with upgrade to the final 11 version without further cost. Too bad this isn't an option with VOX as I'd gladly pay to keep using the beta, and the company could start making money again. Has anyone suggested this to Tegwyn? Any response? Hello, I installed VoxATC Beta 7.2 In VFR flight, after a zone transit, When I call back with the sentence "F-... out of zone", the controller does not understand me and asks me endless to repeat. Does anyone have a solution to offer ?

This isn't something that I just discovered with the beta 7.2, but I've been meaning to ask about it. For addon airports, it seems that the taxiway center line guidance lights are occasionally mispositioned and when I checked a few 3rd party airports, I found that the guidance lights follow the default airport's taxiways. This is immediately after using the VOXATC Indexer. Has anyone else noticed this? This worries me as I was wondering if there might be a bug in the Indexer. There's no point in sending bug reports as I haven't gotten a response in months.

I've been using 7.2 for about a week now and like what I see as far as VFR improvements. I had an issue (one time only) where I started a flight and it put me in the parking location I had saved. But it also put another aircraft in the same spot. I was fine until I tried to taxi then the FSX crash, etc. When the flight reset, there was still a small plane in the same spot but a different one (same type, different color). Instead of trying to taxi, I moved my aircraft via the menu to another ramp and all was fine. I'm curious if you can do a few things...can you cancel a VFR flight plan while enroute then divert to another airport that's nearby? I can contact the RCO …

I'm using beta 7.2 and trying to install additional voices. I installed the 4 male and 1 female VOXPOP voices and I can select them from the Voice Configuration utility. I then installed VisionAid American English Ivona Voice Pack and VisionAid International English Vocalizer Voice Pack. They show as installed in Control Panel/Programs but there are no new voices available in the Voice Configuration utility. I thought that after installation they'd be available to select in the utility. Is there some step after installation of these 2 products that has to be done to be able to use them in VoxATC? Hello, I've downloaded and installed V7 Beta of VoxATC. The installation went fine but when FSX-SE comes up, it says to click Enable in the window. When I do that, I get a message "This VoxATC installation requires registration. See help file." I cannot find any way to register this so I can see it. Anyone know of any way around this? Hi all, I mistakenly changed my call sign and clicked on 'GA' in the Voxatc settings. Now whenever I fly it is stuck in GA mode,not USGA as it was before. I have repaired Vox and reinstalled but no matter what I try its stuck in GA mode. This is such a shame because I had vox up and running so well. I just hope there is a work around. Is there a Voxatc config file which doesnt get changed on reinstall? Really annoyed myself changing to GA... Thanks in advance.

For some reason I am unable to uninstall VoxATC via the Win control panel, programs and features. I think it may be a left over from FSX-SE, I'm unsure. But I want to get rid of it and try the Beta in P3D. Here is the error message I get Can anyone suggest the correct way of uninstalling this. Cheers guys.

HI I have VOX ATC 6.XX I would like it to say American6212 when it addresses my plane instead of AAL6212. Anyone know if this is fixable? Thank you for your time.

The beta has pretty much worked smoothly until today. I have recently installed VOXATC 7.2 Beta on my system. When loading a flightplan, in my sim, the system displays wrong ai traffic. Example: When departing from EHAM for a flight to EDDH, 90% of all my ai aircraft at EHAM, consist of AN-74-100's of Cavok Airlines (Ukraine). Have uninstalled and reinstalled VOX, but unfortunately, no remidy. Have restarted the system and was able to replicate the problem. My system: Prepar3D Prosim737 AS16 (via client) Rex soft clouds REX Worldwide airports ###ai ORBX Global, Vector, Europe, U.S. I have dissabled ai traffic in Prepar3d as suggested in the manual and have VOXATC ai traffic at 40%. When I clicked on "Enable", the initialization ended up with fatal errors with all aircrafts and flight plans. It turned out that P3D v3.4 creates flight plan files (.pln) in which the degree, minute, second characters are affected by your system Region setting. This is normal, but VoxATC sticks with the most basic format. I live in the US. Going to Control Panel --> Region and resetting everything corrected the problem.

Hi Everytime I click on speak on a voice in the Voice Configuration exe, it crashes. I have a couple of ATT voices. It even crashes the default Microsoft voices. I had no problems with the previous beta 7 version. When I open the Vox panel in the sim, I get a few voices saying testing and then I get the dreaded fatal error. I ensure that I first have a flight plan loaded. Anyone else having this problem or could anyone suggest a few answers? I have re run the indexer. P3D ver 3.3 with Win10. Many thanks. John

I'm always careful about comparing one piece of software in another's forum but since this is an unofficial forum for VOX and there's no telling when there may be an update for P3D coming, I was wondering if anyone here has used both programs? How does Pilot2ATC compare with VOX? I'm especially interested in anyone who is testing v2.

Hi--installed the latest v7 beta into the latest version of P3D using IVONA and AT&T voices. Worked fine for a while, then I got a warning there was some problem and I should check to make sure I have an English version of the text to speech engine. Rebooted and VOX worked fine for a couple of flights and then the same thing happened again and subsequent rebooting hasn't fixed it. I haven't done anything different to Windows 7, as I don't even know where the text to speech engine is. The speech to text aspect of VOX works fine--i.e. the flight plan trainer. It's just the text to speech which is messed up. Any suggestions? Thanks much, Jay.

Hi, I came back to VoxAtc 6.52, I must say that it's great pleasure to fly with it... Now I would want fly without the VoxAtc windows, so I have a question concerning the frequency change from ground to tower. When I am ready to take off after taxing to the runway, I noticed ground control don't say me to contact tower, the order is just writen in the Vox window with frequency and so... Is it normal or I missed some feature ? Without Vox window am I supposed to change on my own initiative ? Thanks and Regards, Richard Portier

May be the wrong word but when the text come up while you are reading. Is there a way to change it so that when the atc interacts..the numbers are not spelled out. I find myself being slow to read and do the things I need too do. Thanks, Bob M.

I know that for SID anb STARS it bases itself on Navigraph.am I correct saying that if I use an aircraft that support and has up to date navigraph along with navigraph up to date in VoxATC I can use real world plates and routes without having to bother with FSX original database?
