Hello, I have tried 2 new voices on a trial from harpo (can't get trial elsewhere)but they crash vox with a "fatal error" after they run through the initialisation.100% linked to these voices. i run fsx, gtx 9600 and i7 at 4.3ghz and dedicated sound card. any advice or thoughts? I would like to have better voices. Cheers John

No luck with this..keeps saying "Demo" and it won't index. Really liked 6.52 when it worked. frustrated...wrote Tegwyn but you know how that goes lol. Not going back to p3dv3...thats history. Thanks Bob M windows 10x64

Hi all, I'm really enjoying VoxATC -great work! I've installed the LevelD cycle data manually into VoxATC and also manually mapped it into the Navigraph data manager. I just did an update to the latest cycle - do I need to do anything within VoxATC like run the indexer to apply the update or will it read the new data automatically? Best, sg

I am a registered user of VoxATC version 6 but haven't used it for some time because of Ai issues. I would like to try version 7.4 but am currently using UT Live for Ai within P3Dv4, Tegwyn advised my to not use 7.4 until the UT Bridge is updated which might take many months. I am willing to uninstall UT Live so I can try VoxATC version 7.4 as I mainly fly in the UK and Europe, nearly all the other ATC programs are too US procedure based for my liking. Will VoxATC work well with the P3Dv4 default Ai or is there another Ai Software I could load that works well with the current version of VoxATC ?

How can I stop the constantly repeating messages such as . Call sign stand by this continues without the possibility to stop it . Bobbes

I am using VA 7.41 & P3dv4. When I enable VA at KCDN, an uncontrolled airfield without first filing a VFR flight plan it goes through the initialization procedure but then "hangs" at a point where the VOXATC panel states, "completing setup". I wish to simply fly patterns at this airfield and to announce my intentions and position as I do so. When I disregard the announcement in the VA panel and press the zero key no options appear for local flights and/or pattern work, probably due to the hangup. When I tune the local unicom I hear other pilots announcing their respective positions around the airfield. I can successfully contact the local unicom and they acknowle…

Hi guys, As the title suggests, my a2a planes were still not discovered by the new installer. My carenado and Aerosoft discus were found without any issues but the a2a planes were not. I know others have got it working fine so it has to be something with my set up. Any ideas? Also I couldn't get the sound output to come from my headset even though I had it set in the voiceconfig.exe and within the sim. Cheers

Hi Does anyone know what VoxATC uses to determine if an AI Aircraft is GA or Commercial? Why I ask is becasue after so many years with VoxATC and it always generates like 99% Commercial traffic and basically no GA traffic. My plan is to trick VoxATC to believe my GA Aircraft are Commercial. I know at least FSX and P3D determines this from the Aircraft.cfg file in the line "atc_airline=" and if a value is put there it is treated as an Airlines. Not sure VoxATC uses th same factor to determine this? Thanks! Mike

I noted that the Ground control never gives me the voice command to switch on the Tower frequency. There is only one message written in the Vox main window. Is this the normal procedure in USA? In real I am supposed to pass on the tower frequency without a ground control request once arrived at the take-off runway stop point ? Thank you and Regards,

I am to the point in my flight simulator setup where I am to install VoxATC. I am running Prepar3d v4. I attempted the VoxATC 7.x download last night and ran through the installation steps without a problem. As I started the P3d v4 simulator, unable to do the following. 1) the VoxATC panel would not open for my A2A Cessna 172 but it would open for the default fighter jet. 2) I unchecked the atc in the p3d control section. 3) I barely heard a voice saying radio check and was unable to respond. The Push to talk on my Saitek yolk switched views instead of PTT. I am very frustrated as I had it working great with FSX on my old system. What do I…

I've been away since 6.x and am trying 7.41 on P3DV4. I have to say I'm mighty impressed. Massive improvements in reliability so far. Got traffic working last night with Mytraffic. One thing seems odd. I'm flying IFR from Gatwick EGKK to Manchester EGCC. After departing the SID I should spend time with London Control until reaching the Manchester area. In fact I'm being handed over to Manchester Radar straight away while still in South of England. Can someone try this or suggest what's wrong please? Thanks

I'm transitioning from FSX/Vox 6.52 to P3dv4/Vox 7.41 and I'm noticing an issue. At two different airports (KUAO, PAKT) that have ATIS service, Vox 7.41 is instructing my to call UNICOM for airport information rather than tuning to listen to ATIS. I have verified that the default ATC lists the ATIS frequency so my assumption is that Vox would see it as well. I'm using ORBX regions for scenery and have run the indexer a couple of times. I've reported it via the Vox website but was wondering if it's unique to my setup or others are seeing it as well. Kent

The VOX ATC Settings exe file is showing 0KB and I am getting an error message that the App can't run on my machine. It would appear that the exe file did not load correctly during the setup. Any solutions to this?

Hi all, I've been using 7.41 and loving it! However, I noticed that I'm getting a traffic avoidance bug where ATC will tell me to turn to a heading to avoid traffic at my 12 o'clock. IMMEDIATELY after responding, I get a command to turn back to my current heading and then immediately get a clear of traffic response saying resume own navigation direct to the next waypoint. Using little nav map, there is never any AI traffic at my 12. Is this a known issue? Thanks! sg

Just a quick note - I just installed 7.41 and had a couple of quick flights with VoxATC - the indexer worked great for me and picked up the A2A planes in the addons folder. It also recognized KACK airport bgl compiled with P3D v4 SDK. Everything seems to be working great! One request, and I'm not sure if previous versions were better at this and this is a change, but there's no traffic at airports along the route - all AI seems to be generated at flight level or at departure and destination airports. It would be nice to see some traffic at the larger airports even if just parked... THANKS again! sg

I'm transitioning from FSX/Vox 6.52 to P3dv4 and Vox 7.41 and I'm noticing an issue. I used Mike & Crystal from AT&T natural voice in 6.52 but they don't show up in 7.41. I have uninstalled them and re-installed them to no avail. I also don't see them in the speech control panel unless I launch the 32 bit control panel. I don't recall with certainty if they ever showed up in the "normal" control panel app for Windows 7. Has anyone see a similar problem? Is there a solution? Thanks, Kent

Here is what happens when I fly in Norway, whatever the airport and whatever the aircrafts (native or not). When I contact control (ground, tower or anything else), to have an answer I have to systematically repeat the operation twice "press to talk then talk" and again "press to talk then talk" . If I do it only once (as normally) Vox ignores me. However if I let the FO handle the comms, Vox works normally. I first thought of a problem with the assignment of the joystick or my keyboard, it is not the case because if I fly in US Vox works as expected ! I do not have to repeat the procedure twice. I'm using VoxATC with my traffic v6. The taxi speed of the AI is about 5mph. Can I increase it. I'm also using GSX and AES.
