Got a bit caught by surprise when being cleared to RNAV Runway 33 into Salzburg today. Instruction : "Report when established on procedure". Where exactly am I supposed to be established on an RNAV approach ? At the IAF at the correct altitude, in this case WS833 ? Next instruction I got : Report 4 DME. What is Voxatc referring to ? 4 DME from what ? first I'd like to get my wish out of the way: I'd like to be able to declare my own parking--I often hear real ATC ask pilots what parking they are set for.... Another thought: I have trouble with VoxATC and Aerosoft's Airbus A318-21 and the A2A products, but they are quite demanding models. Another thought: Now, I'd like to compliment you on what you have accomplished so far. I've had a learning curve--read commentaries, watched Youtubes. Each flight my experience with VoxATC gets more entertaining.

Can anyone tell me if the UK Extension is working yet in Vox 7? If not, I'll stick with version 6 for the time being. Thanks. Dugald

As a recent convert to vox atc, I see many people are enjoying - Ivona, cereproc voices. I am unable to run the Ivona voices as I get the "FATAL ERRORetc" and wonder "am i doing anything simply wrong" Advice will be well received, bearing in mind this has used up a lot of my time already and may have to settle for vanilla vox! Specs - - VOX 7.41 (C), (works fine with vox pop voices without Ivona voices) FSX GOLD on ssd (F) 4790K at 4.4 GHZ,(4 cores) 16mb RAM, 960gtx. Afternoon everyone! I was wondering if anyone has tried to run VoxATC for both FSX and P3dv4 at the same time? I use FSX for aircraft that is not available yet for P3Dv4. Just wondering. -Rick

Hi, The 'No Vectors' approach is not working for me, just wondering if this is unique to me? There are some approaches where vectoring does not work (even with terrain awareness), Samos, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt for example. Also, there are often a variety of approach types at certain airports which I like to try for variety, I have always used VOXATC in 'no vector' mode and it has worked very well, however I have not been able to get version 7 to work I have tried several approaches with No Vectors selected, it is not working at all. So after a very long break from vox I decided to give the latest version a go again. I have to say - I have missed this addon. I'm trying to purchase it however, but the registration link on the website says to go back and click the paypal button, however...I dont see any paypal button? Is it still available for purchase and am I having some sort of browser issue? I tried in Chrome and FF.

Voxatc has been working really well.Today i can't turn on FO no matter what. I double checked voxatc settings and all is good there.I loaded a flightplan before enabling vocatc s it canì't be that, Any help appreciated.

As the title says... When I ask for clearance at my home airport (KABQ) it says "go ahead" After I request a VFR clearance. Then VoxATC will tell me to say the same thing!!! I'm not in expert mode by the way. I'm truly stumped on this one. I've run the indexer a few times and it fully works. Then I run the panel select and nothing shows up (because I already installed them.... Thanks for any help....

Are there any issues with VoxATC 7.41/Win10 64bit latest update/P3d v4.1. I had just installed Vox prior to P3d v4.1 and latest windows update and all seemed to be working okay. Then I did the P3D and windows updates and have issues. Now I can't get "Runway Number Update" to run. The App comes up with blank page and I press SCAN and it seems to start scanning then stops with an error and shuts down. There are Windows APPS Reports as follows but all are meaningless to me. I tried using VoxATC for the first time installing 7.41 into FSX Boxed (Gold edition). This is pretty much stock FSX except for DX10 fixer, FSUIPC and GSX but not much else in the way of addons other than some PMDG and A2A aircraft. I tried the VFR tutorial from KMCI to KOMA in the default C172 but with Vox enabled FSX always crashes with BEX error about 1/4 way through the flight. I uninstalled Vox and I can do the flight without any issue using default ATC. Just wondering if anyone else successfully uses Vox with FSX boxed edition. Vox seems like a good program and much more immersive than using default ATC but I cannot use it if it's this crash-prone. Th…

Hi...installed cereproc voices, which I do believe are 64bit..windows 10x64, started getting fatal error msg....where can I look. I do have the windows Speech Recognition 8.0 (English) Thanks for any input. Bob M.

I have completely uninstalled P3Dv4.1 and reinstalled. Got My Traffic6 installed per the xml way per Poppet. No crappy ai's. Voxtac completely indexed. Yeah.. now does Voxatc still use the old LevelD navdata or which one? When I get that installed...set up voxatc and hold my breath that I hear ai's lol :) Thanks, Bob M.

I had an instance of taxiing at an uncontrolled airport using Unicom to a runway but waiting at the threshold for another aircraft to take off. As soon as that aircraft took off, I started to back track down to the take off position (the airport had no taxiways). I then had another aircraft came up behind me, announce that he was taking my runway and travel through me to the takeoff position. As soon as I got to the take off position, my FO announced taking the runway. Very unrealistic. I had filed an IFR flight plan. Anyone know if there is a way of preventing this? Thanks John

I finally figured out the speech recognition error message and output device. I am using a wireless G930 headset. I can hit the "K" key and the FO goes green. Supposedly he is operating the radio but I don't see frequency changing. I see a yellow line that say FO operating the radio. I hear nothing going on. I do have UTLive installed and traffic set to Zero in the P3dv4 settings. I know that the UT Bridge has not been released yet. Is that because there is no AI to communicate with is the reason I don't hear anything going on? Getting there eventually..lol Thanks for any input/output :) Best Regards to everyone. Sometimes atc clears me to take off no initial fl no heading no sid no nothing and hits the sack. I just have to hit enable and disable a few times to get him/them out of bed,. What am I missing ? thanks

I have successfully installed My Traffic 6 tp P3dv4.1..I have disabled UT Live. I know someone has succesfully done this so that Voxatc talks to ai's. Tired of hearing one sided conversations to Orbitz etc. (no FO chatter or Chatter period) I am sure this will all be better when the UTL Bridge comes out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I just figured out if you want sound from Client machine to server (simulator machine) get Stardock Multiplicity.. It has an audio feature that will transmit or receive so you don't need extra speakers and wires. Works great!! I use it for like Proatcx, active sky 2016 etc. Wanted to contribute something else rather than always asking. :) Bob M.

Have read manual and its a little disconcerting...Could someone walk me thru this.. 1-what belongs on the simulator machine (server) 2-what belongs on the client what is the order of starting it up and does it create firewall rules or do you add it to simconnect xml etc. I think in the old days, you had to run fsx on both machines? no longer needed now? have p3dv4.1 Thanks, Bob M.

Vox Atc for P3dv4 is wiping ALL of my waypoints in all of my files when I save a game. meaning when i exit the sim and come back later to fly I am winding up flying a great circle course to nowhere, I have tried disabling my virus scanner thinking it might be that, but no joy. I am now reinstalling has anyone encountered this and is there a workaround (such as disabling vox atc before saving?) I have advised VOx Atc and LM

Hi all, During a flight over Iceland, BIVM to BIAR, VoxATC 7.41 suddenly gave me a fatal error halfway trought the descent to destination. I had logging disabled, so I enabled it and re-enabled Vox. It initialized correctly, the text saying "Tune Akuryeri Tower on..." appeared briefly, and then again FATAL ERROR. I have been examining the log and I can see what seems to be an error message just before the FATAL ERROR, saying "Cannot create unique G callsign" and then a traceback of the internal procedure names. Have just started using the demo to see if it is worth buying. I only have the very few voices in Windows 10, and it is becoming a bit unrealistic hearing the same voices over and over again. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to obtain a few more voices (preferably freeware). I believe that you need 64 bit English TTS voices. Many thanks for any help. John
