Hi All, A quite long time after crossing ARTCC boundary VoxATC suddenly awakes and realises I'm in another ARTCC area so it asks me to switch to the current ARTCC frequency and then displays the famous "FATAL ERROR" message and finally it crashes. If I disable/reenable it then it reworks properly untill to a next ARTCC change. Is that a know problem?

Hi, I've just installed the latest version (7.41) for Prepar3D v4 and the Recent Comms panel is not working. It appears, but it's just blank (white). Does anybody has any idea how to fix it? Thank you!

Since tech support from the author of the program is doesn't exist, I turn to the community for help. I am running the above setup. VoxATC indexer and all runs fine. Loads in P3D v4.3 fine and does all the initial checks and even tells me to tune xxx.xx to get ATIS. But, there is no keyboard or joystick interaction with the VoxATC window. The Joystick assignment program shows that the buttons are assigned and recognized but the actual program while in-sim will not respond at all. If I turn off the AI traffic or there is none around it seems to interact. Has anyone else had problems with the new version of P3D and VoxATC? It's been almost a year since 7.41 has been…

Hi I have used VoxATC version 6 in the past but stopped after having some problems with the Ai. Now version 7.3 Beta is available I thought I would try it again. Version 6 was uninstalled some time ago and the old Voxpop voices so I am starting with a clean install of 7.3. I have downloaded and installed the FSX Boxed version together with the new Voxpop base and voices. 7.3 installed ok and works when I load the VoxATC panel in the aircraft, however I can't get any of the voices to sound. I have had to go into the Voxpop folder to find the VoxpopServer.exe file but when I run it I just get a black empty box, not like the one in the Voxpop Help PDF. …

When I start the Net Client on my simulator computer and the Net Server on my network computer they need to sync index files. It takes about 30-40 minutes, but the Net Client hangs when there is 5 files left in the transfer prosess. I've tried many times, and every time it hangs when there is 5 files left. I've tried reinstalling all VoxATC software on both computers, running the Indexer over again before trying to sync. Now I'm out of hope. I've also sent an email to the developer, but haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone know a solution for my problem?

Do i need to export the scenery cfg in lorby’s addon organizer before running the indexer like i would do before running makerynway?

Thanks in advance. The solution is probably obvious, but not to me. When I right-click the Voxpop Base.msi file and then click on "install" I receive this message: No VoxATC X installation found. What am I doing wrong? I'm running P3D v4. I've tried placing the installation file in the VoxATC folder, but still no luck. What am I doing wrong?

Hi All, When I turn the radio/avionics off I still hear the ATC/AI aircrafts. 😕 As long as the frequency set on my radio is active the guys keep on chating. Even with the master batterie switched off !! Is that normal ?

Hello, What models does VOX use for their AI traffic? Is it the standard P3D models? I was wondering how to get the program to use the models from BVAI which are more realistic. Can this be done? Thanks Jim V

As any VOXATC user quickly notices, the default P3d4 jetways do not respond to the VOXATC AI aircraft. This is because only the sim's own ATC-controlled AI aircraft have the correct states (taxiing, landing, starting up, etc.) to activate the jetway. I noticed while testing the new SODE 1.63 beta, that SODE jetways are aware of VOXATC AI aircraft and will dock and undock correctly, even with a gate that has dual jetways. I hope this isn't a quirk in the beta. I just updated my personal version of KALB using the SODE placer utility and the results are great.

Hi All, I currently use FSX-SE and I wonder if my registered version of VoxATC would work on P3D? Or should I have to buy another license ?

First off, this isn't unique to BETA 7.x, this also happened in 6.5x and Tegwyn started an email exchange with me. Then he vanished, presumably into v7 development. Sooo... I'm trying again! Anyway, I've had five (5) IVONA voices since 2013. Then I bought four (4) more in 2015. The four I bought in 2015 *ALWAYS* crash VoxATC ("FATAL ERROR" inside my sim shortly after starting to read ATIS [sim version: P3Dv3.4 -- but VoxATC v6.5x did the same in P3Dv2.x as well) whereas the five original voices I bought work flawlessly. PLUS... *ALL* the voices (old and new) worked fine in prior versions of the VoiceConfig.exe app. Of course that now crashes all on its own n…

I just downloaded and installed Fsaerodata. After some testing, and communication with Jose, I have found that It is currently not very well suited for VFR flights from uncontrolled airports. Many of them show up as CATF frequencies instead of Unicom and this appears to Confuse VoxATC. Flying from my home airport of West Bend, WI (KETB) resulted in VoxATC assigning 132.475 as Unicom instead of the real life 122.8. What I found is that 122.8 is assigned in Fsaerodata as the CTAF, but there is no Unicom assigned. Further investigation revealed that many airports in Fsaerodata do not have a Unicom assigned and VoxATC does not know how to deal with this. It seems to assign ra…

I wonder if the Flight Plan Trainer's exercices remain in the main speech recognition database profile or if it's like creating a specific recognition profile for each flight training? In other word does VoxATC (via windows speech recognition engine) learn from previous flights ?

Hi All, In VFR (planned) flight I can transit via D airspace without clearance indication on the prompter. Is there a way to change this ? If not may I contact the D airspace tower directly and request for a transit ? For example I take off from Cameron Park(O61) to Nut Tree (KVCB) and I must transit via Mather(KMHR) D airspace (0ft agl to 2.600ft). My altitude is 2500ft. What is the correct phraseology for this? In the manual it is said: request transit bravo airspace at <altitude> to <location> In my case it should be something like: -Request transit Delta airspace at 2.500 to KVCB. Am I right?

Anyone tried this in VOX and P3dv4? It uses .bgl files, so theoretically it should work.

Hi, i created a vfr flight from kemt (towered airport) to kajo (non towered). Voxatc asked me to talk to Utopia radio. But I think it is Riverside fss. I tried to add Riverside by using ADE in kemt (FSS Riverside 122.2), compiled and run indexer. But Voxatc always assigned me to Utopia. I should have missed something. Can anybody make a tutorial how to use ADE to fix issues with Voxatc? thank you. Thierry

I am seeing a strange issue. When arriving at destination, there seems to be loss of fps especially at the airport. I have kept the AI limit to 100 via FSUIPC. If I stop and restart Voxatc after landing, the FPS is back to normal. I checked the fsuipc logs and it does limit the ai count to approximately 100. My voxatc ai percentage is set to 50%. I am using P3Dv4 ai models from AIG or FAIB. I also experimented separately with Utlive and traffic at 200 limit and flying between same departure and destination airport. I don’t see this issue at all at the destination airport with using another ATC software like Proatc. If my system is able to handle 200 aircraft’s…

Hi All, I've installed VoxPop and some voices, everything works fine except that VoxPop doesn't stop after FSX shut down. From this moment it's impossible to restart FSX. The only way I've found is to manually stop VoxPop with the windows task manager (end process). Does anyone experienced the same problem?

Hi - I've searched and tried to find if anyone has had my problem but all I can find are somewhat similar, not the same. I've tried this at multiple departure airports and the behavior is the same. I'm flying VFR out of Phoenix Deer Valley (KDVT). ATIS and taxi work fine. When I get to the runway and ask for the freq change from ground, it responds with instructions to tune tower on "radio freq". I'm expecting to hear "...report back on frequency." If I tune to the tower, I can "contact" them but the VoxATC window says to go back to ground and request temp freq change. If I ignore and try to request takeoff clearance from tower, I will get "...unable at this time." I'm as…

Hi, I have, out of the blue, a problem with the indexer. The indexer runs but when getting to the Processing Aircraft Data section, it stops at various aircraft.cfg files. If I remove the file it will then stop at the next one. It does not stop at them all. I use Prosim 737, it stops at the Prosim flight model first. If I remove this cfg it stops at the last MyTraffic aircraft, a Yak 42. If I remove the Yak 42 it stops at the aircraft before, a Yak 40, if I remove the Yaks it then stops at the Vulcan, which is the cfg before the Yaks. No matter how long I leave the indexer it does become unstuck. Any ideas will be very welcome. Thanks and reg…

Hi All, I'm currently using the VoxATC demo and I plan to buy the registred version to improve my poor praseology. Currently the demo is correctly installed (as well as few voice pack) and everyhing seems to be OK. Well, almost... as long as I fly my VFR flights to a towered airfield. If not, as soon as I declare my destination airfield in sight to the approach controler then the VoxATC dialog windows get frozen to the appoach frequency with my last words in blue "airfield in sight". If I descend to the airfield pattern altitude and tune the frequency to the airfield Unicom then VoxATC ask me to switch back to the approch frequency... But it doesn't change n…
