Hi all All of a sudden I am getting the error "Cannot inilialise voice recognition. Ensure that you have a us english compatiable recogniser selected." I am using Windows 10. When I go into Control panel, Ease of Access, Advanced Speech Options I get "the necessary engine cannot be created. Please select a different engine or audio device." i then click on OK and the speech properties dialogue box pops up. It shows Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (English - US). Any help greatly appreciated. John Disregard, problem fixed. I forgot to plug in my mike. Duh.

Hi, I was just wondering if Voxatc supports a flight plan with multi legs. EG, can I make a plan from airport A to airport B with a couple of stops in between, say to refuel. Thanks.

Hi all, I decided to use Voxatc but when i go to the purchase site there is in bold letters this hint: Voxatc does not work with Windows 10 64bit lastest update My question is whether this is still valid or not. And if yes, will there be a update ? Regards Jürgen

Afternoon, I am having issues with the Runway updater stopping due to errors, I have been reading the posts related to the updater having errors and referencing Level-D. I do not use Level-D ( I have a JetMax utilizing Sim Avionics) so how do I overcome this issue? If I am reading this correctly I would create a folder called Level-D and point my Navigraph cycle update to it? Thank You for any direction, Jimmy Mac

In case anyone gets the same or similar problems FSX Trying to fly out of LPMA with VOX there seemed to be a problem - ATC became "stuck" looped and "failed". No FATAL ERROR though but no continuing ATC. Examining the BGL with Airport design editor revealed that "TOWER" and "GROUND" had the same frequency. 118.350. Using ADE I was able to delete the "GROUND" from "LPMA_AFX_OP02.BGL " in FSX\AEROSOFT\MADEIRAXEVOLUTION\SCENERY. All fine now. Oh yes, run scenery indexer again after the change. Anyone want the file if they dont want to mess with ADE just e -mail - //mod edit - email address removed// Cheers John

Is there a way to get AI IFR flights to use non towered airports in VoxATC? I fly to many smaller airports in Norway that has AFIS service (Unicom) in FS and in real life but with that service alone does not generate any traffic from what I experience. If I add a tower position in the afcad I do get traffic but I prefer to mirror real world procedures and ”fake” tower control position would ruin the experience :) mike

I am curious if there is a way for the software to select the most appropriate runway based on the gate the aircraft is located at. I am tired of having to taxi sometimes 10-15 min around the airport when there is a runway within a few minute taxi. I usually have to request a different runway based on where I am at, but I am mainly asking about AI. At airports with multiple runways, it seems that VOX always chooses to either send AI to the furthest away, like at KDFW (35R) for takeoff or like at LAX when the want all aircraft to take off 25R and everything on the north side has to taxi around the airport. Hi, It’s been half a year now that I am using VoxATC (7.41) and I am very happy with it, definitely it gives another dimension to ATC in the Sim. I am using P3dV4 at this stage with 737 home cockpit. I have encountered the following problem with a scenery, I assume it is related to AFCAD (ADE) somehow. LEAS Asturias airport: default was checked with VoxATC and works absolutely fine. The addon scenery was checked with default ATC and works absolutely fine. All the AI traffic is custom built. Hi all, First, I've been using VoxATC for a few months now and can't go back to any other ATC! THANK YOU! Second, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most under-rated features of this program is how it injects AI that are controlled by ATC into the sim. I'm using mostly MyTraffic 6.0a models and a few others and VoxATC populates the world quite well with better performance than default traffic. Are there any plans on expanding this feature? Would it be possible to include traffic parked and/or departing to/from airports along the route I'm flying (most of the traffic seems to be at my destination and arrival airports, or simply cruising at altitude)? …

As far as I can remember I set it up properly but anytime I try to run Speech Training it gives me this error, and says it isn't. So my question is, what do I do on Windows 10 to solve my problem?

Hi All Simmers, I have used V6.54 for some time and now have P3D V4. I would still like ti use some aircraft in FSX so will both versions run on one machine or is V7 for both FSX and P3D? I know you can download demos for all versions but am not sure if the old will conflict with the new. Regards Charles

Hi! Does anybody know if VoxATC supports T/O from an intersection. Yesterday I flew from LEXJ, which has a taxiway that goes about 3/4 to the way to the runway threshold, and ATC instructed to line-up runway 29 (wich the usual "press 0 to backtrack"). Instead of requesting backtrack, I lined up in that position, which was more than enough for my BE36 to go airborne. However, I never got the T/O clearance, and after waiting for a while I restarted VoxATC and this time I taxied to the runway threshold and everything worked. Is it possible to request T/O from an intersection? Maybe in expert mode? (which I am not yet using). Thanks! Carlos

Is it possible to choose another approch in VOX ATC?

So I've been using Vox for awhile now but can't seem to figure out why at JFK I get a fatal error just after contacting clearance. If I takeoff and call mid flight I have no issues. I also have no issues flying IN to JFK, only starting a flight there. Anything I should check for in particular related to the scenery? Its the DrwDrzewiecki Design JFK pack.

Has anyone successfully declared and performed one? I tried tonight settings some predetermined failures. I ran the "Mayday Mayday Mayda, Callsign, emergency and requested vectors to the nearest airport. After having to repeat myself twice - the controller acknowledged the mayday and requested for me to state my intentions. I wasn't 100% sure what to say next as I thought I stated them by requesting vectors. I requested vectors again, and was just met with a last aircraft - say again. It eventually went to FATAL ERROR. I re-initialized, tried again and with the FO on this time, hoping the FO would reply correctly, however Vox would never acknowledge my mayday and o…

Dear All, Somehow when i start the vox atc from panel-instruments sections in p3dv4 in parking, it says test-test-test and a message appears ( can not initialize vox please be sure english us selected.....) But ı already done this step, my speech recognition setting is set already to English US in win 10 home edition , i complete microsoft speech reognition test, VOX speech recognition process etc... my p3d is set into c:/ p3dv4 , vox is in C:/vox , vox base is in C:/voxbase Please help me regarding my problem Thx.

Hi All, Just purchased V7 after using V6 for a long time with no issues. However when installing Voxpopbase from the link on the VoxATC website it installs but does not show in my Start menu in Windows. Also when trying to run it from the install folder it just opens a DOS window which is just completely black with the flashing cursor at the top. Has anyone seen this before and do you know what the issue is? In the previous version it ran the Voxpop server and ran the installed voices. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Dave

I had installed VOXATC on Prepar3d 4 about 6 months ago and couldn't get it to work so I uninstalled it. I later reinstalled Prepar3d 4.1 in October and decided to try VOXATC again and downloaded the newest version 7.41. I had to buy it because of my previous trial ended. I installed the panel on all of the aircraft (I am working on my private pilot and training on a Just Flight - PA-28-161 Warrior II) I added the panel and when it launches it says "enable". So I click enable and I hear "test" three times It might be saying "check" I don't recall and the screen says "7.4.1 Initializing...." then goes to "Completing Setup" but nothing ever happens... This is a small thing, but would add to the emersion. In VoxATC the name of my home airport is spelled West Bend Mun (short for Municipal, which is the full name of the airport). VoxATC pronounces is it, "West Bend Muhn." In real life all pilots simply refer to the airport as "West Bend" (with no Muhn, or Municpal). It is the same at many airports around the country. Dane County Regional Truax is commonly referred to as simply "Madison." Is there some way to edit how these locations are pronounced?

I've been using VOXATC for the past few months now and while at first, everything seemed to work fine, now I feel that nearly every time I turn on my flight sim, another issue pops up. I ran across yet another two more today. First, I loaded up the sim with a flight plan from KMEM to KCLT. It initializes fine and I tune ATIS. Then I switch over the Clearance Delivery and ask to pick up my IFR clearance. After being told to stand by, about 5-10 seconds later, I get a fatal error message and it says to disable VOX. I don't know where to find the log of the issue, but I can't figure out why it is having issues with KCLT. It is the only airport that I have run across this iss…

Has anyone experienced the new 64bit voices cutting off before completing the sentence? I've only noticed this in the pilot side of the voices, not the ATC. It will say, like, "turn heading", "descend and maintain" but never finish the sentence. Ideas? -Rick
