I know there is another post elsewhere with this question, but I was hoping to get some further responses regarding advice. I used VoxATC in FSX and loved it. I have been holding off getting it for P3D due to the lack of support from the developer, as it's a lot of money for a programme that is not properly supported. However, I may tempt myself if I hear that it runs well, with no real issues in P3D V4.4. What are your thoughts and experiences fellas?

Hi all, First, I admit this a hack, not a solution, but bear with me and hear me out. I fly alot of GA into non-towered fields and I miss not being able to complete the flight since VoxATC v7 has a still has that unresolved bug that leaves you hanging after you report the arfield in sight. If you don't know what I'm talking about then this hack doesn't apply to you. Ok, here goes, you need to be on a IFR flightplan into a non-towered field. At the appropriate time, request an RNAV approach. When you get close to the field (5-10 mi) start to line up for a standard VFR pattern entry. Report the IF to VoxATC. I am currently doing the 30 day trial for VoxATC. Everything was working fine. I had a great flight from KSTL to KMSP on Saturday. I got tired of hearing all the of the "fake" AI aircraft and decided to install World of AI aircraft for KSTL. I installed American Airlines, American Connection and American Eagle. I installed in the default World of AI folders. I started up FSX so it would update scenery databases and I could see the each kind of aircraft with no issues. However when I went to reindex the VoxATC indexer now it "hangs" on any of the World of AI bgl files. I really would like to get VoxATC working with World of AI. I have looked at all of my .cfg fil…

Greetings all, I have reported it to VOXATC but wondering if anyone else experiences this and perhaps has a remedy. I have P3D 4.1 and VoxATC 7.41 During a flight I'll be instructed to contact a center e.g. Seattle Center and be given a transponder codes. I set my transponder and the 'I' and nothing happens. After a short while I get the instruction again and hit 'I' again. This repeats several times and I may or may not every get the "Radar Contact" acknowledgement. Some time ago I posted a question regarding an idiosyncrasy that I am having with 7.41. When flying the iFly 737 I am directed to taxi to a "parking" spot rather than a gate. This is very unrealistic for a scheduled airline. This happens every time with the iFly aircraft but not with other airliners such as the Aerosoft CRJ 700/900. The ATC Configuration is set to Airliner with co-pilot. Departure is always from a gate. Previously, I was told that at busy airports, I may be directed to parking if gates are not available. So - I got through one flight without any issues on the demo and was literally singing Vox's praises a few hours ago....not I'm stuck with a Fatal Error. First flight ORD to JFK - no issues. Now going for a second leg JFK to FLL, I can't get past clearance. Here is the error log incase anyone can assist. Good day all I would like to be able to monitor my own voice when transmitting to ATC. In noisy cockpits, I can barely hear what I am saying.Is there a setting to be able to do this? Regards Charles

Just installed voxatc and it was working fine. Then a windows update and I can only hear the first few words of the atis and then the comms go silent. Running p3dv4 with the correct version of vox installed. Please help

Hi Guys -- I'm running VoxATC on a remote computer via the network. I get this error after it finishes the voice init. As I'm also running AS16 / ASP3Dv4, Rex Sky Force 3D, etc also on a remote computer I have all of the network file paths set up properly. The Vox ATC net server gets all of the flight plan files transfered. The only thing that's not working is the remote ATC panel with the can't find load the flight plan error. Any suggestions? See here: https://www.fsaerodata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=248#p910 fsaerodata updates some airport ICAO codes to match the real world codes. This could lead to FATAL ERROR messages in VOXATC. Follow the instructions in the post at the link above. Disable the fsaerodata database, turn off ICAO airport updates and then re enable the fasearodata database.

I'm trying to use Voxatc in P3Dv4.4 with the Prosim737 software and v2 flight model which doesn't require an onscreen main panel because I'm using other computers and screens for my instruments. I turn the 737 main panel off using the W key but when I click Enable on the voxatc window it starts flashing on and off and the 737 panel comes back on. If I Disable Voxatc that window stops flashing and the 737 panel will stay off. Any idea what could be causing this? Jerry

How do I prevent Vox from using the default fake airlines (e.g. Pacifica, Orbitz) for AI traffic? I have renamed the default traffic file trafficAircraft.bgl to trafficAircraft.bgl.off but the fake airlines are still out there. I have sufficient real airline traffic via AIG so don’t want these fake ones. Thanks,

One more from me 🙂 How do you set up an airport without a tower, only AFIS (Unicom). My IFR AI commercial traffic just taxi out to the runway intersection and wait, and wait and more wait and then disappear. I guess there need to be someone to clear them for takeoff for VoxATC to work? I could set up a tower but not as realistic. Mike

Hi What traffic density settings should I use in 7.42 to see the traffic operate according to their schedules most realisticly. By the way, why is that density switch even there if VoxATC reads and generates according to my traffic schedules anyway. In my mind 100% would mean that VoxATC follows the schedules and generate just the amount of traffic in the schedules. But when I tried 100% the airport was absolutely crowded. Have I missed something here I though VoxATC 7.42 now read my traffic bgl and generated just that traffic on those days and on those times, so why the density switch? Hi, I know that VoxATC has it's own method for a networked setup, as given in the instructions, and I have used it without issues. But this involves installing VoxATC on the FS PC and also (VoxATC Net Server) on the second PC. Im quite curious to know if anyone has tried networking VoxATC using WideFS and FSUIPC? This way there would be only one installation of VoxATC and Voxpop voices and other voices on the second PC. Is this possible? Can it work? Regards, Sid.

I’m new to this program and have difficulty in hearing ATC - I have to turn sim sound off (Q) in order to understand ATC. I have minimised voice and engine sounds in P3Dv4 but this has not helped. I use FS2Crew and can adjust it’s volume to be heard over other background noises and would like to be able to do the same in VoxATC. Any suggestions? I run under Windows 10 with headphones, no speakers. John

After istallation of prepad3d 4.4,there is a ERROR initContactPointsOffsets0-Unsupported Prepad3d version. It´s possible hear the noise os de engines but with out screen!! Any idea!!?? again,NEW VERSION!!,NEW PROBLEMS!!!!!!!

On a recent flight from KTPF-KTIX, and while on V533 just slightly west-northwest of KMCO, ATC gave me instruction to turn right to 080, descend and maintain 3000' and expect vectors for the RNAV Rwy09 approach. The winds were out of the south, so after I made my turn and started my descent, I requested the RNAV Rwy18 approach instead. ATC then approved it, and told me to report CUTON (the intermediate fix); no additional vectors or altitudes were assigned. My question is, was I supposed to fly direct to FORNI (the initial fix) or to CUTON (an intermediate fix)? Hello All, I tried VOXATC 7.42 on the demo and it worked like a champ. I decided to purchase it, clicked on the 'Register VOXATC' and it does not open the register window. It seems the register window would not open. If I click on a second time, it only opens an installer then runs the indexer instead. Has anyone had any issues like this? I uninstalled and reinstalled, even ran CCCleaner on registry many times and still no luck. The program worked well in the demo, but now that I bought it, I cannot register it. Such a $66 dollar regret. Win 10 64bit Version: 7.42 P3Dv3.4

I've changed my proc and my MB and I can't configure voxatc. In windows I can speak with cortana, and the speech recognition is OK, but when I launch Voxatc, it says that speech recognition is not installed correctly. I tried to lauch Flight Plan Trainer, and when I Push General Training buttom, it says that the speech recognition is'nt correct. What can I do ? Thanks for helping me...

So my first question is I was attempting a trial because I haven't purchased Voxatc yet, but I get a fatal error when I hit the enable button. Anyone have any ideas about. That? Then when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, it said that the trial period was over! How do I get another trial period because I never even got to see how it functioned? I tried contacting them on their site but no response. With Voxatc when it is up and running do you see a build up of aircraft coming in to land when you first load up your location and you are in the cockpit on the ground? This irks me in the sim. Hello, i'm interested in VoxATC but i would like to get some info first. Do VoxATC inject AI traffic in the simulator? I mean, will the ai calculations be made by VoxATC so the simulator do not have to compute the AI giving me a lot of more performance? Half way through my last three flights Vox has just stopped functioning. No more instructions and the panels don't respond to keyboard inputs. Checked the error log and all I see is a bunch of these each time it stopped working.
