Using V 7.42 in P3D v4 on a Windows 10, 64bit machine. Tried to change the ATC call sign on an aircraft. Opened the Type Name Editor, found the aircraft (only two of the 7 textures were shown)...changed the name as I wanted, saved, ran "indexer"...but nothing changed. VoxATC still refers to aircraft with old name and requires I use old name. Searched through this forum and only found posts from 2007 that had different issue. Thanks for any help. Garry

I downloaded all the Microsoft English voices and installed them. They all work when I tested them in Windows but when I try to assign them in the VoxATC Voice Configuration I only have Great Briton Hazel available. Any ideas how to fix? Garry

Team I struggle with this feature in so much as the copilot's "request higher / lower" are granted in 4000' steps, not the expected 2000' (RVSM) steps. Flying medium / long haul in a 77W, one generally has an initial cruise at for example F340, then F360 & often F380. At that initial, if the copilot asks for higher, he will be granted F380, not F360, the later next RVSM step. The pilot however can be specific and ask for & be granted the step to F360. Has anyone spottted how to tweak that copilot feature. Look forward to your notes.

I run P3D4.5 under Windows 10 and have just started flying the Q400 again after many months on the PMDG NGXu. I have Orbx Global scenery and the 2001 Navgraph Cycle installed. Also Active Sky and VoxATC 7.42. On my two first flights I have been given clearances to descent to a lower flight level (pressure is STD 1013hp) for my approach, however, when I get there Vox continues to pester me with "...descend immediately to FL XX". I tried changing to local pressure as given by Active Sky but this did not help. Then I did a stepwise descent to FL XX - 100, -200, etc and at -600 Vox seemed to be satisfied and stopped its transmissions. This has happenned at both airports in qu…

After completing circuits, I vacate the runway and VOX ATC then prompts me to announe I have vacated the runway which I do, reading the script.... Only to be met on a constant loop of "Callsign" pass your message. It just will not recognise my last transmission. Any ideas guys? Dave

Hi, hoping someone can help. Installed VoxATC Net Server v7.42 and the newly download voices to the Server PC. This is a clean install to a new directory path. Prior to the installation I Uninstalled v7.41 via Windows 10 (64 Bit) Control Panel, Programs and Features. When I launch VoxATC Net Server it shows a completely white window for about 5 seconds and then it closes. I uninstalled & reinstalled a few times with Windows Defender and Firewall disabled. As check to see if the downloaded software was corrupt, I installed VoxATC Net Server on the Client (SIM) PC and it loads correctly. Any ideas? Thanks Ralph

Hi, Can somebody help me with this please. I have been using version 6.52 OK but now I get a "fatal error disable VOXATC" message once it tries to initialise. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. I have run the indexer various times and have tried loading one of the training flight plans that comes with VOXATC and it is still the same. Also if I run the voice configuration program and click the speak button it works OK for Microsoft Anna in the controller voices box but crashes if I click the speak button for Microsoft Mike in the pilot voices box. I am using FSX and Windows 7. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Gary

Hi I used to use VOXATC when I still ran FSX. I am now running P3DV4.5 and have upgraded to 7.42. I have run the indexer and when complete I have selected all my PMDG, FSLabs and Majestic dash 8 planes. Unfortunately I can't find the VOXATC panel. I can see the panel in the P3D fighter jet. I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I have tried finding the panel by looking in the drop down view menu with no luck

Hi, Compliments of the season to one and all. I do use the hold facility available in VOXATC, not on every flight, perhaps one in five. There are problems with it and I'm wondering if anyone has found a work around for one or all of them. First, the waypoints offered for holding are too far from the airport usually and they don't match the holding points on the charts. If you manually insert a waypoint in the procedure text file, it is ignored, in fact it is removed. Is there a way to force VOXATC to use chosen holding points? Is there a parameter in another file controlling this feature that can be adjusted i.e. distance from airport or start of STAR? …

I've just installed VOXATC but when I run FSX and open the VOXATC window from the views drop down menu all I get is a black square at the bottom of the screen in the middle. I can move or resize it but it remains solid black. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. I'm using Windows 7. Phil

I've done a few flights with VOXATC and it works fine in P3D v3 as the traffic is working (although i cant get voxpop to work). However just today P3D v4 is no longer working with VoxATC. There is no traffic in v4 but in v3 there is traffic. I'm using JustFlight Traffic Global and have disabled the TrafficGlobalAirportFacilities file in the scenery library. But the traffic is still not appearing in P3D v4.

Hi, I'm working through the manual. I've run the indexer, the Flight Plan Trainer, set up voices etc. but when I open the Panel Setup the box is empty. There are no aircraft to select. Any suggestions as to why this might be would be appreciated. I'm running Windows 7 and FSX. Phil

So I got past the general training issue, i finished setting my speech recognition up. Then, I chose the VFR flightplan from Kansas City to Eppley, unknown aircraft type: Mooney Bravo Ok, I chose an IFR flight plan, Unknown AircraftType: Beech King Air 350 Ok, I chose the last one, Unknown AircraftType: Mooney Bravo So I decided to try something else. I copied the VFR Flight Plan, and edited 'Mooney Bravo' for 'FSLabs A320X CFM - FSLabs' Same issue. I changed it to 'PMDG 737-800NGX WL' and no change. OS: Windows 10, Prepar3D V4.4

I would like to use Bonanza instead of “N” which is what VoxATC is currently using. I have the Comanche, Cherokee, and Skyhawk all working this way. I have tried to edit the Bonanza’s config file to resemble the other 3: listed Bonanza as the ATC type, removed extraneous quotation marks, etc. Has anyone been able to get this to work, what am I missing?

hey all 7.42 is working well with P3D4.5 I have one little hitch, however. My recent comms page is just blank. Any ideas? Michael

Hey all. Just getting back into VOX with P3Dv4.5 with Windows 10. Not sure if it is even compatible any more, however, I cannot remember if the Panel to enable is supposed to just popup upon loading AC or if there is a keyboard shortcut. I have checked all the config files and it appears that the install code is correct in P3D and the AC itself. Just can't find the panel. Any ideas would be appreciated. Michael

Hi, I have a problem with P3D 3.3.5 and VoxAtc 7.41, when I declare a clearance for my destination airport in IFR, I receive all the correct information, SID included, but not receive the initial flight level. After take off, when I reach FL100 for example, I receive the ATC comunication who tell me to descend to FL... or Increase my altitude. I don't understant why. I missed an information, I use ProATC to prepare my flight plan, upgraded to the latest version, and the ultimate NAVAIDS and AIRAC (1710 at this moment). Thanks at all. Best regards. Denis

I've tried this option a few times and the ATC definitely sends you roughly in a half circle around the flightplan. However, I have yet to figure out whether this path is either random or actually takes into account the immediate weather conditions. I assume that if the latter is true, it operates on precipitation density data provided via the sim. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hi All I ordered, and installed succesfully, VoxATC 7.42 into my fresh P3D V4.5 installation. All working fine. I do however have the VoxATC V6 disc still with the UK enhancement. Is it possible, and worth it, to install the UK enhancement from that disc into my new 7.42 installation?

My setup is P3D v4 under Windows 10 and the aircract is the new PMDG NGXu. I also have AS and EFB running as well as FS2Crew. Hi to all, Does anybody know how VoxATC decides which frequency to use if there are multiple options? For example, in reality many aiports have multiple approach frequencies and depending on the sector an aircraft approaches from, one of these will be assigned. I don't think that the sims (FSX, P3D, Xplane) support different frequencies in different sectors of the same airport, so I assume that Vox simply reads the frequencies in the order they are listed in the airport.bgl file, but so far, I didn't manage to find out the logic according to which a frequency is picked. Hi. Many thanks to those who've posted in the past with suggestions for getting Vox panels to appear in FSX Steam DLC aircraft! I only have one DLC aircraft, but it's one I like to use for training and it would be great to get it working with VoxATC v7. Sadly, whilst I have no trouble getting the panels up and the voices to go through the initialisation process, it always pauses at the end and then gives the ominous 'Fatal Error'. I've tested various default and add-on aircraft at different airfields and they all work fine; it's just the Carenado DLC that trips it up. On that basis I don't think it's the voices - more likely something to do with the DLC. However…

Hi there I am new with VOXATC. Just bought a license, but I face some problems. I want to do the training session. When I let the program creating the session, it stops and does not resume the session built. I waited for almost 30minutes. Please have a look at the image. Any Idea why it stops and how to solve it?
