I finally took the plunge and bought this program.First flight was from my home airport of kptk.This did not go so well. The atis repeated every word twice and left out much of the information (silences). I was then told to taxi to a runway that doesn't exist (04) and then could never get ground to recognize my reply.I restarted the sim, and did a real weather flight (real interesting in this area now with heavy snow) from kfnt to kptk.This went great! The program shined-it was very realistic and everything went like I would expect in the real world. I just installed VoxATC, and I tell you, it's the next step in Flight sim realism.Installation of Speech SDK 5.0 went flawlessly.Installation of VoxATC went without a hitch.Launched the VFR flight from Kansas City to Eppley.About 99% accuracy of voice recognition...After a while you get used to the robot voices (Im sure theyll come up with some kind of real voices, or atleast a way to create your own.)Im seriously considering purchasing this cool piece of software.John WhiteNewburgh, IN

I use AS2004 for weather and VA does not use it - it appears to me it only uses the weather u saved with the flt. Will it not use the weather from 3rd parties? Also when using PMDG aircraft I have "lost" my callouts from PNF. I like the interaction but it appears to be that u can only use VA by itself and takes over the sound from aircraft. It could just be my system - who knows with computers. By the way I have got passed taxi:7 ,my fault.

This program, what little Ive played around with it, appears to be really intriguing.Im real close to buying it but was wondering if there's been any postings anywhere or discussion as to what sort of enhancements or improvements are planned?Dont get me wrong, Im not the type who takes something and focuses immediately on what it can't do, but rather I look at what it does do and then figure out how I can integrate that into what Im already doing to make the experience better.It may be that, given the technology, it cant get any better than this.Anyway, just curious. Hi, I am still stuck at taxi clearance - it does not seem to do what it or I want it to do. Have attached a piccy. How do I read this back - I am at Mctr(EGCC). It turns blue - have been thro all the training again again. I am losing my voice:) Allthe best denis

What do you say when u want taxi clearance in the IFR tutorial - have spoken what comes up in the box but will still not aknowledge me. It doe s not correspond to what is written in tutorial or is it my ignorance.:-wave x(

Anybody else have this prob when running VOXATC, i have only tried the demo vfr fligt, but when i bring up the default gps FS9 hangs, never had this prob with other addons.OHN

Hi,Did someone manage to install it on a 2nd PC in combination with WideFS/WideClient?I checked their website, but it gives absolutely no clues if it can be installed on a 2nd PC.I tried the installer but it refuses to install because FS2004 is not installed on my 2nd PC.This should answer my question, nevertheless on their website WideClient is mentioned in a sentence so I'm a bit confused here.anyone?

Have tried to install VA and gone thro all the speech traing as recommended in the docs. When I run FS9 and come to initialise VOXATC the window opens and says "Installation Corrupt". Anyone else had this and found whats corrupt. Have reinstalled and repaired and reinstalled the speech SDK 1.1 but still the same.Have sent an e-mail to VOXATC but just wondered if anyone had this prob.x(

I tried the demo and for the most part was pretty impressed. I've now purchased and registered the product (and it isn't cheap!), only to find I can't get it to work. No matter what I do I get the message that there is no flight plan loaded - even though there is. I can use the demo flights but that is it. I would sure feel much more confident about this program if the developers maintained some presence here or in another forum. Anyone have any ideas? ThanksDavid

I used the utility on a "saved Flight" (KEWR-KTPA), filled out all the form spaces on both SID and STAR, checked the boxes, pressed "OK" and nothing. I cannot retrieve it, the spaces in the form come back empty and nothing shows up as a SID or STAR either in training or inside of FS9 with VOXATC active. What am I doing wrong. I have submitted this report to VoxATC.com directly as well! Help!Randy Jura, KPDX

I know VOXATC is "grounded" for the moment with server problems and there doesn't seem to be another forum to consult with at the moment, so any help from what few users out there would be great!, the problem is this: ATC is not seeming to give sufficient time to decend to approach altitudes if a straight in approach is indicated. For instance, I have made straight in approaches to 9L KMIA, from the west and had to do a missed approach, I simply could not decend fast enough even at -2000 FPM to get down. I start atFL330 and it didn't start me down until I was about 110 miles out, this has occured repeatedly with other straight-ins. Other programs and FS9 would have starte…
