Question 1: Is it possible to request from the tower to do touch and go's and remain in the pattern. If so, what is the exact phrase am I supposed to say.Question 2: The first two flights that I tried to fly using the VoxATC, I created them in FS9 Flight Planner. VFR from KSEE (Gillespie, San Diego), to KCRQ (Carlsbad) and KSDM (Brown Field, San Diego). On both flights, Approach took me 20-30nm out to sea before having me turn around for runway approach. I am flying a Cessna 172. I don't need that much room to approach and it took a long time. Can I just do a simple VFR flight, take off, request transition through airspace and contact the tower and request to land o…

Hi Andy,FSNavigator which is now freeware will show the gate/parking numbers if you hold the cursor over them when you zoom into the airport.Personally I ignore where they tell me to park and taxi to where I want to go on the airport diagram anyway... that is if I do bother parking, many times I end the simulation after pulling off the runway.Hope this helps,Zane

Hi team,VOX ATC looks very interesting to me, but before I am going to buy it I would like to ask some questions :Does VOX ATC interact with the wind directions ? It is difficult to make sids/stars for your flightplan if you do not know the wind direction ( I am using online weather with AS6 ). Can you add atc chatter ?Can you let AI traffic run and hear the default ATC and AI aircraft ? Thanks,

KRNOFMGSIGNAKSACBasically when I take off from KRNO I want to turn to Mustang VOR (FMG) so I can circle climb to gain adequate altitude before progressing on my flight over the mountains. However, VOX ATC will completely disregaurd my FMG waypoint and start vectoring towards the mountains. I guess I should file IFR (SID/STAR) when flying in mountainous terrain when using VOX ATC?

This sounds like a prettly slick product. I downloaded the demo and installed. Installed .NET 1.1, and MS Speech. Went thru the training (both MS and VoxATC), both worked well. When I tried to fly the demo flight MCI-OMA, the VoxATC prompter stated the unregistered version would only accept flights to MCI, OMA, and MSP. The flight was MCI-OMA, per the plan.So I rolled the dice and registered the program. :-hmmmReload FS9, reload the VoxATC MCI-OMA flight, set VoxATC options, open the prompter winder, enable VoxATC. Now it wants me to "Tune oceanic center 133.300". Riiight! Tuning 133.3 and following the prompts works, however that's NOT where my flight is. Trying…

Probably a silly question, but have you tried the "PLAY" button on the latest VOX website yet? I made a 4 minute demo for the designer of VOX, and wonder what the reaction is?Tony, Belairvideo, Plymouth, U.K.

Hi,I just finished the VoxATC demo of the above flight with the Meridian. It was a very nice flight. Some comments:The squawk number is the same on all of the demos and all of the flights I've generated. I wonder if different numbers will be available on the next up date?Twice I was given vectors for traffic; for each course change for traffic the first vector turned me 90 degrees off course, the second turned me back at 90 degrees to my course, and the third issued before I arrived at my course turned me so that I was flying away from my next waypoint. When I was told to resume my own navigation I had to turn an angle of probably 135 degrees to get back on course. I…

Hi Guys!Love VoxATC.Trying to fly Dodosim Realstart 206 Jetranger VFR KTIX KISM.Same problem with VFR KDED KOMN flight.Things work OK till I need to contact FSS, at which point I can't get a response from "St. Petersburg radio" ("Utopia radio on the KDED KOMN flight.)I've tried the work-around I found in the AVSIM forum, but still no joy.By the way, Dodosim Realstart 206 doesn't have a transponder. (They will in the next patch.) Could this be the cause of the problems?Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.Slugger

Im sure I saw this topic discussed here but darned if I can find itnow, so I'll ask it again, sorry...VOX with MS Mike is of course rinky-dink sounding, but at leastits useable.I DL'd and installed ATT Mike & Crystal and although the quality isindeed vastly improved, Im getting loooong pregnant pauses in thespeech. In other words with MS Mike its something like;Air Canada 646 climb... and maintain 5000 turn right... heading 230But with ATT Mike its more like;Air Canada 646 climb.......... and maintain 5000........... turn right.......... heading........ 230Any help or suggestions appreciated.ThanksJim

During installation I noticed that the VOX ATC made an index of the files under the FS2004 default installation path. However, I have chosen to install most of my addons in a separate folder outside of the default diorectory. Do the VOX ATC need to index these files as well ?If so... how can I make it index these files. I cannot find anywhere I can specify where to index. Any clues ?RegardsBernt

HI,I need some help with the STARs. I complete the SID, fly my flight plan expecting at the STAR start waypoint to be given my STAR but only get cleared for an approach.I made a flight plan from KRHV my home airport to Truckee up by Lake Tahoe. The SID name is SUNOL @ 5000 and the transition is MANTECA. The STAR name is HANGTOWN @11000 and the end point is SQAW @9500.The SUNOL SID went fine. After passing SUNOL ATC told me to climb to my cruising altitude of 11000 but when I got to the HANGTOWN VOR (HNW) and the start of the STAR it was never issued and finally when I passed the SQAW VALLEY VOR (SWR) I got cleared for the GPS-A approach. That wasn't bad but without a …

I registered my VoxATC today. I have a few questions about the VoxATC before I get to know more. 1. The names of centers that I contact troughout the flight are not realistic to real world. I flied IFR (High Altitude Airways) with MSFS flight planner. When I fly over a specific airspace, I need to contact the center which is far far away from the routes or the airspace I am in. Is there anything I can do to solve this? I think it was an inherent problem in MSFS itself. Or am I missing somehitng? 2. Does VoxATC separate traffic by assigning a lower speed? 3. In VoxATC, can I request a direct to particular waypoint to short-cut the routes? During the flight, I pressed 0 in…
