I've had three successful flights with the tutorials included with the Deluxe DVD and it really is an add-on that changes the way we fly. But now when I create a flightplan of my own in FSNav using another aircraft, export it, and load it into FS, and try to enable VoxATC, I keep getting a No Flightplan Loaded error. I've tried every way possible to have this show up including having both the stock flightplan loaded into the GPS and the same exact plan loaded into the GARMIN530 (when it's been installed). No luck.What are the prerequesites for a valid flightplan? Shouldn't the minimum included departure, destination and route = direct?This product should never have made i…

Sorry, but my VOX ATC demo is collecting dust. I am just not a big fan of synthesized voices, although the MS Speech API is great for voice recognition. I rather fly VATSIM, if I want to use voice.Another big let-down (actually in all 3rd party ATC solutions), is that AI traffic is completely left out. Having a ton of missed approaches after hours of flying spoils the entire fun, just because a stupid AI craft is sitting on the runway.I do think it is a great idea and concept, but just not mature enough.Just my two cents.

I just read where Vox ATC is releasing a DVD which includes the AT&T voices.I have the program and the voices already. Does anyone know if the DVD contains any improvements, or is it just a repackaging of the product plus voices?It's still a great program.keith2W6

HI,My question is, can I have a VFR flight without opening/ closing a VFR flight plan? The capability is nice to have but I want the option to fly without one. I also want to be able to make a flight without flight following. Can I do it?An example is a training flight from Reid-Hillview to Hollister both in California southeast of San Jose. For training purposes I created and saved a VFR straight-line flight to Hollister, then saved it in My Saved Flights, and finally loaded it. Hi!I got quite a frustrating problem.. everytime I try to run VoxAtc I get a 'Corrupted Installation' error. No matter what I try, the same error still returns and VoxAtc exits after this.I've reinstalled VoxAtc four times now.. I've tried the demo flights, I've tried creating an IFR flight from KMCI to KOMH as suggested in a previous post.. I've deleted my speech profile for the speech recognition engine.. and I still get 'Corrupted installation' when trying to run the addon..I have a few aircrafts and add-ons, the most used being used are the PMDG-73x, the Level-D 763, FeelThere ERJ-145, Fs2Crew, FSPassengers.Anyone who've had the same kind of problem? On almost every flight I get vectored around invisible aircraft, often many miles before put back on course, and then sometime to be vectored again around something that I can't see.I use the A.I. traffic with VoxATC, and sometimes am vectored in the congested areas for no apparent reason. I realise the product is not aware of AI traffic, and that's OK - I am willing to work around that, but is there any way to turn off the vectoring around other aircraft? This often adds as much as 30 minutes to my flight, and my sim-time is precious as it is!Thanks

Hi I've just purchased VOX Atc at Blackpool (Great Weekend), and I was wondering if there are any human voices for the program to replace the robot that microsoft has kindly installed in windows. I'm trying to get the most realistic experiance I can and having a robot tell me atc directions is killing it abit. I apoligise if this has been covered all ready but i've tried the voxatc website and looked through this forum and can't find anything.

Are there any improvements planned for requesting altitudes?On an IFR flight from KGSO to KCHA, I needed to request a higher altitude due to turbulance (thanks ASV). The certified ceiling on the PMDG B1900 is 23,000 ft. I needed to push that by one or two thousand feet. I requested "higher" from ATC and was given 30,000 feet. There is no way the B1900 could reach that altitude so I requested a lower altitude; I was given 18,000 feet. Back and forth it went between either 18,000 feet or 30,000 feet.Are there any plans to allow for requesting a specific altitude vs being given one?Regards,Richard

So i bought a new AMD 64 3200+ just to be able run FS with VoxATC and when I installed demo v 2.71 first thing I get is >> Fatal Error! Disable VoxATC! << No fair!!! I was looking forward to this soft for a few years from the old version for 2002 and now when I finallt got comp powerfull enough to run it I can't because this soft apparently doesn't like me?!I read the old thread about this error but there wasnt any real solution to it so i hope maybe meantime somebody has a solution...FSUPIC instaled, SAPI5 instaled ( and reinstaled)- even some additional demo voices on top, but switched back to Mike just to be sure, tryed even older version of VoxATC (2.5) an…

Hi....I downloaded the VoxATC program and installed it. I have followed the mic setup as well as the SAPI 5.1 training. I have completed the general voice training in VOXATC as well as a flight plan training in VOXATC. I had good recognition with all the training sessions. I have the newest FSUIPC installed as well as the latest .NET framework patches. I've tryed installing VOXATC 2 times but I keep getting a "CORRUPT INSTALLATION" message in the VOXATC Window in the Simulator when I try to fly one of the canned VFR or IFR flights that come with the program. What could be causing this situation?I planned an IFR flight from LOWI to EDDF. Received ATIS, clearance, and taxi instructions. At the runway hold line I was told to taxi into position and hold. I replied and did so. Then nothing else. I sat there burning fuel for over five minutes. I even set the sim to 4x time compression but still no takeoff clearance. The controller kept telling me "clearance not available at this time". I finally took off and flew without ATC.I did notice that one VOR never would tune even when directly over it. Just purchased VOX 2.71.Installed ok, headset which is a sharkoon working fine.Filed a quick flight plan, IFR Manchester to Liverpool, also tried Manchester to Birmingham.Selected aircraft, dep airport, wx and time.Tried to enable VOX from the menu screen within flight sim, it stated that it was initializing 2.71, but ten minutes it still hadn't loaded. Plus the computer went on a go slow. Looking at the internal aircraft clock, it moved 10 seconds in about 12 minutes. Eventually the computer screen saver kicked in. While I think VOXATC has greast potential, it still has a long way to go.I have continous problems with it getting confused as to where it is in the sequence and just locking up. It will often tell you to switch to another frequency and then just never answer you there. There is no backing out of the problem. While it seems to have no problem recognizing my responses during the initial contacts once you are handed off by tower to the next controller it either doesn't answer or you can PRECISELY respond and it will keep repeating and might respond after three tries or may never respond.Many times during startup it will initialize and tell you to switch to ATIS but there…

I've been very impressed with VOX ATC.Just wondering if anyone has been using it with helicopter flying. It seems to work well on the ground,but I get routed way out of the way for approaches.Any suggestions?Thanks in advance.Slugger

Hello,after updating to version 2.71 I have problems switching off and back on the VoxATC-Window. I am flying FS2004 in FullScreen-Modus; as soon as I switch to VoxATC-Window the whole FS2004 Screen is getting black for a short moment than it comes back and the VoxATC-Window appears but it shows only a black background within of it. As I switch once more sometimes it shows normal (with green text colour on white background for instance) but it is flickering and disapperaing short afterwards. Is there a better solution to this ? Should mention that I never had similar problems with other addon programs where one also can switch to additional windows. As I switch the FS2004…

Its really bothering me i would love to have voxatc because of what it offers but it doesn't talk to AI. Any opinion on this. Honestly thats all its missing and this would be the best addon.
