My installation has recently developed some very anoying problems. When I release the mic switch the promter window fails to update and I have to click the switch again to get the text to update. Also, ATC will not accept a standard request for an altitude change unless I open the prompt list with the 0 key and select one of the canned entries even though I use the exact same phrase without getting a response. Also, out of curiousity what is with having to request step altitude increases on an IFR departure. Hello,I have just purchased VoxAtc X. I also own and still use the original VoxAtc for FS9. My questions concern the FSX version of VATC.First and foremost, I would like to say this is a great product. I really enjoy it. I am a real world pilot and use VATC to help me with my memory (clearances/instructions).I realize the program you have created is cutting edge and state of the art. I will continue to enjoy and recommend it, no matter what. My question is: Would it be possible to design some type of "wizard or editor" to script the proposed flight. I'm getting back into FS and more specifically, VoxATC, and I'm having a heck of a time with reading back my clearance from clearance delivery. I've done voice training several times in a row but every time I readback word for word my clearance instructions VoxATC insists on me reading it back for at least 3 or 4 times before it finally yields. Anyone have some advice on how to tackle this problem? Will the new upcoming version of VoxATC allow non verbatim readback of instructions?

Hi,I am testing VoxATC X and feel great improvement against older versions, but:1. I am unable to declare emergency. When I fly IFR LKPR-LKTB (Czech republic), after departure from LKPR, "declare emergency" appears in prompt window menu (I realize it is awailable at the time). But if I declare emergency, controller still replies "unable at this time". I have tried it along the several phases of flight (departure - climb, enroute at FL...), but still the same reply "unable at this time". What is the reason ?2. I have to wait about 1-2 minutes after frequency change very often, before green text in prompt window appear. So I can not contact controller. My FPS is about 12 …

Anyone have any workaround for getting VOX ATC installed on Vista? Both versions for FSX bomb during the install process. I just noticed that on a couple of flights, when I have been flying to GA airports in the multiplayer session, sometimes the tower controller will ask a plane to leave the runway at the first exit, but then he will get into a loop as the AI plane responds 'Last a/c say again' followed by Twr saying 'Golf 327 turn next available taxiway' - cue endless and endless looping....I wonder if this is a similar issue to what Jiri is experiencing? I am using Gary Summons UK 2000 airport scenery packs.failing that is their anyway to break this cycle, especially as I start to see fumes coming out the back of my crate :( as I am on the approach!Cheers,Neil

I am very much enjoying using VoX ATC UK for FS9 (v3.27) and awaiting the AT&T voices with some anticipation (although I find that the robotic voices do not annoy me as much as the crazy approach vectors by default ATC ;-)It also works great with my Traffic 2005 addon in multiplayer. However, I have one question and that is whether there is any easy way to disable the green boxes that come up with the 'speedbird245 has joined the session' message, when connected to the VoXATC multiplayer session. Hello, I am testing VoxATC UK version on FS9 now and I have problem with demo IFR flight. Voice recognition works wery well, but1. Controllers do not give me higher (than initial) altitude/FL after TO, so I have to ask about higher, then I receive step by step higher and higher levels, but the final FL is higher than FL 260 filled in flight plan. 2. Whet I request descent, controller gives me FL 060 (one step from FL 275 ???), but this is the last instruction I receive, I am still under Manchester controll, no switch to approach, no vectors, no further instructions. Hello,on RC simulation website is mentioned, that VoxATC X UK will be addon for VoxATC X. Does it mean a possibility to install both programs together ? And I have one another question. I have been unable to get a SID clearance from clearance delivery or an enroute STAR clearance. I have tried both the SID-STAR utility and wizard. When I get my departure clearance I just recieve the usual "cleared as filed" message. I also tried the included IFR demo flight with the same results. There is a user processes folder with the flight plan files in it for the demo flight and my added flight. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this I would appreciate the help. I have emailed VOXATC about the issue. Also has anyone been able to purchase the download from rcsim. When I click on their link I am directed back to the VOXATC website? Happy flying.

Other than the issue with the indexer hanging up on my FS Genesis mesh files the install went smoothly. The AI traffic feature works well except you can't trust the ground controller at KSEA to keep you from being run over by taxing airliners. I am currently on my way to KPDX and hope the STAR feature works properly as if you fly a normal approach you tend to get vectored into the mountains east of KPDX. The lack of terrain awareness by the VOXATC was an issue with the previous version and appears to still be present in this release. Overall I am impressed with this release and am looking forward to the FS9 version as I still fly in FS9 most of the time due to framerate i…

Why hasn't this release been announced on the front page of AVSIM or in the basic FSX forum? There is still no pricing info. It seems like a low key way of announcing a release that has been in the works for such a long time.Tom

HiI had a problem with VOXatc. I monitored every step of setting up the software etc and discovered that when I register FSUIPC, Vox would appear with FATAL ERROR - DISABLE VOXatc.. To resolve this I did :-Open the FS2004 folder, & open up the modules folder,Find the FSUIPC Reg Key and REMOVE the serial key for WIDE???Restart flight sim and everything is perfect againI've not actually looked into what the WIDEFS or whatever it is called, does, Anyone know?If someone found another way around the Fatal Error, please let me knowRegardsCoolcat

Hello: Recently I have reloaded VoxAtc (boxed edition) on to my computer; where recent application of the program within FS2004 worked fine, after this reload when I attempted to test Mike16 in the Voice Setup, I was shown a windows box with a big red X in the left corner with the following statement " Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040014 ". The same thing happened when I tried to test Crystal 16. Since using VoxAtc adds a great deal of realism to FS2004, I am eager to get the program working again. Hiya allI have hyst finnished rebuilding A new pc and it has fueled my Addiction to FS2004 even more than it already was. I'm interested in VOXatc and want a little bit of info. I only really fly airliner aircraft my current 2 favs are the pmdg 747-400 and the level-D 767-300. Does VOXatc handle IFR OK? I have a friend who I sometimes fly with online and he has the older version of VOX I think its the american version. He said its a very good idea and works very well for VFR flying but on the attempts he has made in IFR it cant seem to cope. it sometimes vectors you around in circles etc before vectoring you the the ILS.What I want to know is has it been improved no…

From AVSIM's headlines this afternoon. RC Simulations will host a informal FSX party, "Public will get first look at VOXATC-X." What's the scoop? Nothing on the VOXATC website,nothing on this forum. Back in Aug. Tegwyn predicted VOXATC4 might be released in October and stated more info would be made available "over the coming weeks." If possible please give us a update. I believe I am looking forward to an enhanced VOXATC release as much as FSX. Thanks for any info.
