Whenever I switch views, when I come back to cockpit view the VoxATC window is gone. I have to go to FSX menu and reselect the view.In Joystick and keyboard setup, I have "Assign Prompt Disply Toggle" set to the default of "O" key but it doesn't seem to do anything. Isn't this supposed to bring up the VoxATC window?

Hi All,Has VOXATC (FS9) been updated to run under Vista? I recently bought a new laptop that runs FS9 great, but unfortunately driver issues prevent me from running XP on a separate partition without overheating the GPU.As great as FS9 runs on Vista, VOXATC seems to be a no-go on this OS. Is there an update or a workaround I'm not aware of, and if not, are there still plans to make VOXATC Fs9-compatible?Thanks,Charlie

Still getting used to the various things in VoxATC - so far I'm really enjoying it.If I fly VFR w/o a flight plan and select local flight - is there a way to request landing at a different airport than the one I took off from?Took off, got the request landing prompt and flew around for a bit. Its like a stutter blah blah blah blah blah blah etc, its annoying, what may be the problem?Disregard i found my problem!

I've only played around a little bit and I really like it, but I do have some questions.1) Do I always need to initiate contact with a controller by using the voxATC window, or can I simply tune the frequency in game and transmit my request to taxi, or whatever?2) If I'm set to local VFR, can I tune another airport (via in game radio stack) and request a landing?3) If number 2 is no, if I set a flight plan to a different airport, can I tune my destination airport/approach without using the voxATC panel?I'm really liking this software!

Just purchased and installed the product and am getting familiar with it.I have onboard sound and a sound card enabled. Currently my FSX ATC output goes to the headset. IN the initial testing of VoxATC, the mike works fine but the output comes from the speakers. I got an email from RC Simulations a few weeks ago stating that VOXATC for FS2004 can handle up to 4 AT&T 16 bit voices so I bought 2 more males. I can only get VOXATC to use 2 at a time - Chrystal and Mike. Can someone tell me where I configure it to recognize the other 2 male voices I bought, so there is a little more realism to it?I've read several posts here where there is a panel.cfg mod needed to properly run VOXATC - is this just on the FSX version, or is there something I need to run on the FS2004 version other than the indexer? HiJust started using VOX ATC UK on FS 2004 SP2Having problem with the Fatal Error - disable Vox ATC occurring at the same point on every IFR flightAt the hold short awaiting departure, when the prompt shows .......ready for departure and I respond with the verbal request, the Fatal error occurs.If I take off and then switch out Vox, followed by switching back on, the programme catches up with the flight ???Anyone had the same problem and can offer a solution ?Also flight from Newcastle UK (EGNT) to Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA) involved 5 (five) avoidance diversions - completing circles and 'S' shaped diversions - which drove me mad and caused a shortage of fuel!!This surely c…

I have some questions concerning Military ATC in general and Vox ATC handling of military flights (US airspace).1. I have read that at an AFB Tower/Ground/Clrnce are called Dispatch. Does this mean that a single military controller handles all situations and no handover takes place?2. If a civil aircraft lands at an AFB, will it be subject to this particular handling? Or will normal procedures apply?3. Can VoxATC simulate Dispatch at an AFB?4. Is it possible to use the word Dispatch (editable)?5. Can you set up Vox ATC for a military flight?6. If so, how will Vox ATC handle military airspace penetration?

Hello Gang!I'm getting ready to purchase VOX ATC X. I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can help me with:1. Will it work on FSX SP2 with Acceleration?2. Will it run on Vista Ultimate 64?3. I have all of my world traffic compiled with TTools. I have the trafic files setup by region, so Europe has it's own set for example. Would VOX ATC control all my AI traffic? Just wondering if anyone has managed to get VoxATC (early deluxe version) working with the superb freeware 9Dragons Kai Tak scenery ?Everytime I try to initialize VoxATC with a plan either into or out of VHHX, it generates the dreaded 'Fatal Error - disable VoxATC' message :(I have run the VoxATC indexer, but can't even get the flightplan trainer to load the flight (just hangs whilst loading)could it be because by default FS9 has Kai Tak disabled & this scenery has had to be given a fictional ICAO code?Hoping for some helpRob

I'm having a severe problem with traffic advisories under VFR flight,in the FSX version. Basically I am not getting the traffic warning until the aircraft has just flown by my plane at a distance of 20-30 feet (sometimes right through my plane). I will look over and see a wing and then recieve the advisory. I have not received one for an aircraft more than 1 mile away.. It almost seems like the aircraft are "spawning" right behind my plane with a large speed differential.I have paused the simulation and used the views to look and there were 6 aircraft total listed flying. When flying from west to east over Germany and contacting Langen Radar I discovered that Langen Radar and Bremen Center share the same frequency (118.75 I believe). This is causing confusing and looping messages and makes ATC communication nearly impossible in this area.Digger57

I am flying a vfr flight from Tonder to Karup in denmark. *I have choosen this route to see what VoxATC does when i cross i TMA. I should be able to switch frequency to the TMA to get clearense to cross this but the first time VoxATC want's me to switch frequince is at the karup TMA. That can't be right. as a flyer in the real world it is my duty in the air to report to any C, and D airspaces in Denmark. Can this problem be due to fsx airspaces and that they have less strict requirements that the real one in denmark and is there any software ethat can tell me where and how fsx devides the different asirspaces in the world?? for whatever reason, I couldn't get VoxATC X working last night without a flight plan loaded. I wanted to cruise around in the Cub. VoxATC told me to tune Hutchinson Ground on 121.9, I did, and then it gave me the "Taxi to stay in pattern", "Local VFR" and "Radio Check". No matter what I said on the radio, all I would get was "Last aircraft, repeat"...or something like that. I tried the help menu in Vox (just calling ground, not Hutchinson Ground", I tried calling myself "Piper", just my N number, Cub, Piper Cub, Piper Cub J3 and everything else i could think of. I never got Vox to recongize me. Is this a known problem with Vox or were things just not working well? …

....and, VoxATC X has pretty much changed the way I sim. Wonderful program. I don't even mine the robotic voices sometimes (I have a couple of other high quality voices that came with another program I have installed) It is pretty darn close to real world ATC with just a couple of different procedures. Flying closed traffic at an airport seems a little goofy to me. The controller won't talk to you until you speak to him first, tell him where you are at and what you want to do. Even though he already cleared you for touch and go's. Anyway, not that much of an issue as I can still use the default ATC. I do like the local VFR flight option though since that is 99% of…

Okay, so I just watched the little video that came with this months Computer Pilot magazine. The two pilots were flying a Boeing 737 and were using voice commands to work with the ATC. That looked cool. I also just got done with a real world flight from Ponca City, OK to my home airport in Hutchinson, KS. I'm a new pilot and haven't "experienced" a lot of the busy airspace ATC stuff around Wichita. Basically, I'd like to practice some of the more complex ATC things with my simulator. I haven't used VoxATC in a while, so I have a quick question:How do you use VoxATC with add-on aircraft that have to be loadedon top of the default Cessna? Aeroworx King Air and Flight 1 ATR come to mind.Do I create a .pln file with the default Cessna, and then load the add-on aircraft?With the Aeroworx King Air, you have to load the default Cessna at Seattle, thengo to your actual airport. Hi,This is really a fun product and I'm set to buy but I have a few questions that I hope someone can help with. I have flown two flights successfully with the demo in FSX.1. If you choose not to use VoxAtc on a particular flight can you just not enable and close the VoxAtc window? Does it use any resources if not enabled?2.
