Hi,I've just downloaded this and run the indexer but it doesn't pick up scenery that isn't in the standard FSX directory. Most of my addon scenery are in a separate directory away from the main FSX one.Is there any way to get this scenery added in? as I have updated AFCADS and the Voxatc traffic is obviously using the default FSX Afcads. For example at EGBB runway 06/24 doesn't exist anymore and yet aircraft are heard asking to cross whereas in my Afcad it has been removed.Rog

I downloaded the demo version last night and am quite impressed with the level of immersion that the program creates. I was flying the included VFR flight to Eppley and upon arrival, I was told to contact the controller to request a visual approach to the active runway (32L I believe). However, every time I asked the controller he stated that he was unable. I did some research and saw a post reference "the dreaded unable response" based on failing to contact the airport by a certain distance. I followed the on-screen prompts but still had the problem. Is this a known issue that cannot be corrected or is it just a random thing? Also, once this happens what is the sol…

As I like to hear all the sounds from speakers and not headset (it allows others to hear also:-) ) I came up with the following.1) I bought an inexpensive (20.00) set of USB speakers.2) I configured text to speech to output to these small speakers.The engine sounds etc still come from my main sound system!3) I configured FSUIPC to mute FSX sounds while thespacebar is pressed and to Un-mute the sounds when I release the spacebar.4) The spacebar also controls the key mic as per Vox ATC>5) Now I can set the engine sounds and the VOX ATC sounds completely independently.6) Also I can position the USB Speakers anywhere I want!7) All I do is use small hand mic and no need for…

Hi there!Just wondering about the FlightPlan import of VoxATCX - I tried to import a flight plan of FSX into the SID/STAR Setup. Sadly I can only import FLT Files and not PLN files as FSX saves them.Has anyone an idea how to import the PLN Files or I can create FLT Files.By the way I am using FSX's flight planner for creating the flights.Regards

I have Vox for fs9 and now am thinking about VoxATC.Could someone owning the software please shed some light on how VoxATC X generates the visible traffic. Does it take airlines normally populating airfields into account? What I mean is will I see a mix of airlines installed on my PC at every airport or somehow it derives the traffic it generates from the existing flightplans. Would it use Ultimate Traffic or Traffic X liveries the correct way or would it mix up all liveries totally random for each airport?Thank you for your help,Alex

Everything was working fine until I installed some AT@T voices as well as TextAloud. TTS engine is working fine in TextAloud as well as from the Control Panel applet in WinXP(SP3). Adobe document reader also works fine, so this is limited to Vox. I've uninstalled AT@T, TextAloud and Vox numerous times trying different combinations of install an still get the same error when running the Voice Setup in Vox (TTS setup error Exception from HRESULT: 0x004503A). I can hear the voices saying test..test...test, then the error box pops up and then the Voice Setup window. There are no voices in the boxes (any of the 4 male or female) and most of the addon voices including the defau…

Didn't change anything, and tried reinstalling VoxATC X and now when I 'Enable' Vox, I get the first few little dots after the "Initializing" and there it sits. I can use the Flight Plan trainer and I believe my Text 2 Speech functions in Vista are still working. Any suggestions?

I have VoxATC (not deluxe or UK) and I was wondering if it had other voices. If not, what are some good voices>

I was wondering if you could help me with a problem.I can't seem to get Vox ATC to work with My Traffic X.I have run both the panel setup and indexer after installing My Traffic X. My traffic slider in VoxAtc is set to 70%. When running the simulator with the Flight Simulator traffic slider at 0% (per the directions) I see no traffic at all (i.e. VoxATC is not generating traffic). When I set the Flight Simulator traffic slider to 50% I see the My Traffic aircraft normally, but they do not interact with Vox ATC. I tried a fresh install of Vox ATC as I installed My Traffic X after Vox ATC. I have a registered copy of Vox ATC. I can interact with the Vox ATC controller…

I always have to say a response twice before it is recognised by the program?Even if I just key the mic twice, that does not work. I am forced to read the response twice every time?Any assistance would be appreciated.THank youNorm

Has anyone been able to install this new version and get it to work? As I type this I am once again going through a complete uninstall and reinstall of FSX. Before I insall 5.55 again, I'd like to know if anyone has had success with it. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am desperate.

5.55 will not work for me. I have tried everything I know how to do including completely uninstalling fsx and reinstalling it. Can you PLEASE tell me where I can get version 5.46 again. Per the instructions, I deleted it prior to installing 5.55. Please help me.Thank you,Ken

Hi ThereI was wondering if there are other people who are having problems with the combination VOCATC en FSBUILD.When i create a plan with FSBUILD and try to enable voxatc i get a "Fatal error" on voxatc. Hi,1. I am not able to set SID and STAR with VoxATC 5.55. I still hear: "proceed to first waypoint". I set SID/STAR, then load another VoxATC flight, then close FSX and load flight with SID and STAR. 2. In previous version I heard: "proceed direct to ..waypoint name.."Controller use still "first waypoint" now. Can anybody tell me why ? Is there any change in v. 5.55 ?????Thanks for your help. Jiri

Well, I've attempted 3 flights now with the new version - It has all kinds of problems. The biggest one seems to be that I get no communication with the control towers - I get instructions written in he box, but I get no voice. I acknowledge them, and pretty soon I get the next instruction. Has anyone else encounered this problem, or anyhing like it. I'm ready to uninstall 5.55 and reinstall 5.46. Would appreciate ANY advice from anyone. With 5.46 I seemed to have very few issues.Thanks,Ken

HiI am evaluating Vox ATC (Newest version). I was cleared to the runway. I noticed A1 planes here and there taking shortcuts across the grass? Anyway,when I gotto the runway, ans A1 suddenly appeared in front of me and FS detected a crash ??Also this plane was only visible when I went to outside (spot plane) view?Any ideas please?Norm

I've used the Aircraft Type Name Editor to change my aircraft type to "C five five zero", which should give me a call sign of "Citation". Instead, I get a call sign of "tycho".Is there a way to get VoxATC to recognize the Cessna Citation properly?

Hi, I have problem with VoxATC X 5.55 [and 5.5]. I run indexer after installation, but when I want to fly from EDDP [Leipzig-Halle from Aerosoft], I receive taxi clearance to rwy 26 or 28, but in this airport are rwys 08 L/R and 26 L/R, When I change weather, still the same. Taxi guidance show me the strange way. The similar situation I have with Tenerife North airport from Sim Giants. I don`t know why ?When I use default ATC form FSX, I always receive correct runways at these airports.Thanks for help.Jiri Steinbach, Prague

Well, I just upgraded to Vox 5.55 and now about 2-3 minutes into a flight, it crashes me back to desktop. I have verified that it is only whey Vox is running. I tried FSX without using Vox and it ran with no problems. A couple of minutes after I enabled Vox, back to desktop. FSX gives me a "Fatal Error."Kind of confuses me somewhat as Vox 5.55 worked just peachy the other day for several hours. Now, nothing.Suggestions? I've tried a reinstall. Same issue.

Anyone else having any problems getting VoxATC X to work with the free version of the Flight1 Cessna 152? The panel program in Vox doesn't show the 152, so I can't get it installed. Can I install it manually?Also, everyone on Vista with Vox, are you using the built in Text to Speech with the one voice, or have you upgraded to a different speech program that offers several other voices?Dondo

I'm just starting to use VoxATC and of course have one question at the present. Does it work only with the comm1 radio?I tried switching over to the comm2 and could not make contact nor hear anything. I'm using the trial version at the moment and would like to know all the pros and cons.Thanks,Jim D.
