It seems there is a bug when flying into KLAS. VOXATC goes into a never ending loop and no amount of disabling and re-enabling will fix it. The only option is to disable VOXATC and land without ATC. I notice that others in the forum have reported the endless loop problem and it was suggested that it was a voice recognition problem. However both in my case and the other posts the problem occurs at KLAS. I seem to have started getting FATAL ERRORs during any flight I do since I installed SP 2. Anyone else having this type of issue? It doesn't matter where I fly to or from. Restarting VOXATC works fine but I loose my STAR setup.ThanksHarald

My clearance from Heathrow Clearance was as follows: Speedbird 0780, cleared to Manchester airport as filed, cleared to enter controlled airspace WOBUN climbing flight level 090, request flight level change en route, sqwawk 3017.Why do I get this clearance as it is normally one that you would get from an airport outside of controlled airspace?Regards,Marcus

Hello,My issue is that upon contacting the arrival airport's unicom during a VFR flight (I state location and landing intentions, and ask for field advisories), I always get the response "unable at this time." From that point on, I can get nothing to work. I would like to be able to get the landing runway in use, and then make position calls (downwind, base, final), but I can never get past the "unable at this time" response. Any ideas? I am running FSX under Vista 32bit. Beyond that, I am really enjoying the program!! Combined with my Buttkicker and TrackIR, I am starting to feel "as real as it gets!" Hi,I use VoxATC UK for FS2004 and I have following problem. When I start AI interaction (via multiplayer), FS2004 crashes after 2-5 minutes. When I run VoxATC without it, all run well. I set everything by help file. AI traffic inside FS set to zero, AI traffic inside VoxATC UK to 80%. I see aircrafts, hear communications, but FS2004 crashes, does not depend on choosen airport. When I connect AI during flight, situation is the same.Can somebody help me, please ?Best RegardsJiri

I am test flying the demo version of VOXATC with FS9. Are the two ATT licensed voice available in the demo? There seem to be only two and they sound very mechanical like Microsoft Bob and Mary.

Does VOX ATCX (non-UK) version use FSX'x AI visual traffic? It is mentioned in the manual, that for achieving better results you can turn AI traffic % to 0. But what if I leave say 50% traffic with MyTraffic X models? Can it potentially cause conflicts? Or basically it is designed to be used with the normal (non-MP) FSX's traffic? You might remember the FS9 VOX ATC UK version could use the MP AI traffic, but you had to cancel the normal visual AI traffic in the settings. Thanks.

Flight Planners.Will VOXATC only work with Microsoft Flight Planners? The reason I'm asking is I created a flight plan in FSCommannder 7.7 and FSX recognized it but VOXATC gave me an error saying it wasn't a valid flight plan.Addon Scenery.I tried a FSX VFR flight plan from CYYJ Victoria to CYPS Pemberton and got a Fatal Error. This is with Vancouver X Plus and Victoria X Plus. I did run the VOXATC Indexer. So maybe VOXATC has a problem with addon scenery.I was able to create a VFR FSX flight From KORD to Epply with no problem. I see that others have made the same request in this forum. But I couldn't find any clear reply. One person referenced another post where some were trying to make it work. But, I couldn't find that post. Confused as to why I purchased a headset if ATC sound can not come through the ear piece.These are newbe questions as I just purchased a combo package with VOXATC and new headset.Thanks in advance to all who reply.Regards.Bill

Guys, I launched FSX after a few month absence today and found VOX ATC X v5.34 starts only at the Approach position (example: Tune to schiphol approach 118.075) right from the start. I have never seen this in VOX ATCX. Any ideas? Reinstall?Thanks.

Hey all,Just a quick question about how VOXATC handles traffic in FS9. I know that it won't talk to or control AI traffic, but will it give you traffic advisories for said traffic, or can it only give you traffic advisories for it's own phantom AI traffic. Thanks in advance!

Using the demo version for FSX I've found I can really mess up what I'm saying, but the program responds as expected. Have I set something wrong or will the program really respond to incorrect voice input?

I'm trying the demo for FSX. When taxiing to the runup area, VOX tells me I'll tune away to open the flight plan when I get to the runup; however, it tells me to contact tower for takoff clearance before I've called to open the flight plan. From then on it's out of sequence and I have to exit FSX to start over or just close the panel and fly without a controller. Similarly it tells me to exit the runway on landing and then has me contact ground before I exit the runway. If I don't get on it right away, it again freezes up.Any thoughts.

I normally fly full screen without any aircraft panel.Every time I call up the prompter screen with the keyboard command or yoke assigned button, FSX displays the full 2d panel.Is this nornal for FSX? Is there a way to prevent the 2d panel from displaying when using the prompter?Regards,SD

First of all, an apology, to all the VoxATC users in the US and those using FAA phraseology who have been waiting for an upgrade, sorry that we produced a version targeted at the UK which cannot be used with the FAA (US) version, we should have produced something more universal.Now to make amends, VoxATC 4 (3 was the UK version) is about to enter beta testing. This version will include both UK/EU and US (FAA) phraseology depending upon where you are located, and will include visible VoxATC generated AI traffic (via the multiplayer interface). Enjoying the program but I cannot resolve one irritating problem. Ie my first call of every contact with ATC does not seem to register but it does after I repeat the process. Just wonder if someone can help with advice as to why this is so or tell me how to fix it. Thanks in advance Don S:-hmmm

I am using VOXATC X for FS X and it works well, but I am not seeing any "heavy" (or airline) type AI traffic at all, on the ground or in the air. I have run the Indexer program twice and still no difference. What am I missing?Thanks,Auston :-newbie

I'm using VOXATC for FSX and overall am really enjoying it. I have noticed a few small inconsistencies and wondered if anyone else has noticed or found a fix.I've noticed that I can't get ATIS information from all airports while using VOXATC, so in those cases I use COMM 2 to tune in FSX's ATIS. When doing this, I have noticed a slight difference between Altimeter readings from what VOXATC controllers read off. I thought you could get ATIS for the same airports as in FSX using VOXATC. I really don't know if anyone else is having these kind of problems or not - I am using the packafge for FSX with Crystal and Mike - I have used the product (with FS 2004) for years and had NO problems. However, now I experience a variety of things going wrong - basically, I'd say that 4 out of 5 flights ends up with me having to shut donw the voxatc. Yesterday, as I was flying from LAX to LAS, as I got about 30 miles out of LAS my vooxatc went into an endless loop of saying the same thing over and over and over. Hello,In VOXATC FSX version, there is a way to pick which voice you want to hear for ATC and traffic. In the fs2004 version, I see no such option.I have some different AT&T voices I wouild like to hear, but I dont know how to tell the software to use them.
