Hi,I am trying to install VOX ATC from PC Pilot's CD.I have installed Microsoft Net.prog V 1.1.4322 and FSUIPC.When I come to install the VASetup I get a message ' No Flight Simulator installed'.FS 2004 is installed on my PC in D:Prog filesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9.I have checked the Hot Key in Registry and the path is as above.I am at a loss as to why the installation cannot find this.Your help would be appreciated as I do not know what to do next.Thanks,Bas.

Since a Short While I started using the new VoxATC UK, and it has a neat Multiplayer option that makes it possible to have correct ATC for the planes you see out the window: You see em, you hear em! Sadly none of them show up on my Project Magenta TCAS displays.A have already tried a little program called AIBridge, but all it does is connecting to the running Multiplayer session (I get a text saying that AIBridge has joined the session), but still no Traffic on my TCAS system.PM says that for being able to see TCAS activity, Traffic generated by VoxATC has to run through FSUIPC, which it obviously does not!Anyone master this? Am I overlooking something, are there special …

Does anyone know how to request a runway other than the active runway? Sometimes the active runway is too short for my aircraft. I have changed the wind direction to force the desired runway but this overrides my realtime weather.

This is not related to voxatc directly but influences it. I have been trying to setup the speech recognition and doing the training. the problem is that the audio panel closes the microphone when i try and do the training. when i click on resume, it opens the mike again. I have done everything as described but i cannot find any setup tutorial fot the voice setup anywhere. since you all can run the program fine, maybe anyone can help me. greetings from eddhcheers, jan

I realy like the Vox atc I have as a demo right now....waiting for the FSX version before I buy anything.I just wonder, is it hard to make the program with pre recorded voices? like the default ATC does it.I mean isn't it possible to use the voice recognition device just to recognice me and then trigger the ATC to play a pre recorded message (that I think will sound much more natural).For me the flightsim is all about immersion....and talking to atc with my own voice is super great immersion BUT getting a robot reply is Not.I realise the AT&T voice pack does it better but thats only two voices! we need more, its boring to hear the same person talking and respon…

I just bought the DreamFleet PA28-181 Archer II and get the failure message "Starup failed, unknown FS aircraft type PIPER PA-28-181 Archer Dream Fleet- 1" when I load VoxATC. I have been using VoxATC for some time successfully with other A/C I've bought specifically the Flight1/ Dreamfleet Cardinal.I need some help. When I go to Select Aircraft it's listed along with the Cardinal and appears and loads normally except for it's relationship to VoxATC.ThanksRuss

Hi team,Since several months I am following this board with interest.I have a 747 cockpit ( real size ) and want to use a an ATC program that can interact via speech recognition and not showing adv displays.Currently I am using another addon Atc program but that cannot interact with AI traffic.Is the UK version also usuable for European flying or is the phraseology just for the UK which can be used over Europe as well ( it is named VoxAtc UK and not VoxAtc Europe) ?I am flying all over Europe.Second : does VoxAtc UK use flightplans for AI traffic made by addon Traffic packages , like in my case Traffic 2005 ?Third : do I need the prompter ? Hi all,I recently downloaded the VOXATC UK demo and I must say on first impressions it is great!However, before purchasing, I have two questions that I have been unable to find answers to, despite searching on this forum.1. Does it integrate with the Traffic 2005 add-on? I read in a post elsewhere on this forum that it does ("VoXATC 4 and an apology" response from tegwyn 12th Aug) that VoxATC UK currently does this, yet cannot see that this is the case. Has anyone noticed the program pronounces King Air as keeen-gair and instead of saying "X-ray" it says "X Are A Why" (that's my crude attempt at phonetic description)??(This is a "Im at work and can't try it out" question, but does the speech SDK have a lexicon editor, and will VoxATC do what it requests on pronunciations???Thanks in advance...John WhiteNewburgh, IN

I could never get the original VOXatc to work and was given a refund - just kept crashing even though for the time it worked was great.I decided to try VOXATC UK demo and it worked straight off and I did'nt even run the voice trainer.I used the two fltplans as tutorials and they worked great - so I will try the demoo it a bit longer.So it looks like I will be having anpther go with this great addon.All the best

I see that VOXATC UK is now available for download on there website. It now adds AI traffic using multiplayer!

Hi,Has anybody bought the Delux program? Have any comments? Where are all the comments on this forum that we normally see when a program first comes on the market? I'm wondering why the company is so lacking in communication. Does anybody know?The thought comes to my mind that the company doesn't care if any one buys the program because of their lack of communication. Having bought the original program I like it. It appears to have great potential. I'd love to see a listing of the capabilities in the original next to what is included/added to the delux version. Is it only the voices? I assigned a key and joystick button to this function but I can't get it to work. By using my button I can't get the window to appear and dissapear. Any suggestions on how to fix this? EDIT: Never mind it's working now.

Hello, Have just purchased Vox Atc and its a really cool and a very good addon for FS but the only thing i didnt like is i was flying in Pakistan and in Atc chatter of Vox atc i was listning to airlines like delta ,american etc etc but not Pakistan national airline which is PIA.Why is that so do Vox Atc chatter use only some airlines?and is there any way to add airlines we want in Vox Atc chatter and one more thing its written some where in Vox Atc documents that it uses fs given frequencies,the things were quite right uptill approach freq but Karachi app (in Pakistan)handed me over to ocianic centre now what is that it should handed me to 126.5 karachi east centre bu…

Has anybody had this problem?I have been using VOX for well over a year now, with almost no problems. Recently I have been using FS Auto Start, a piece of software that I am sure you are all aware, allows the user to shut down background services etc, to give FS more cpu power, thus increasing framerates. Since using the software and returning to use VOX, I have noticed that VOX speaks very, very, very slowly, sometimes leaving 6 second between words.When pressng alt and the menu bar appears at the top, the voices speed up to normal, but of course you can't use the sim only the menue bar.I then tried it without FS Auto Start and it worked fine, but of course leaving a l…

Been VoxATC'ing around IWI by Chris Wilkes and have to report it's been a blast. No problems with airport names so far. If you haven't tried it yet, I do recommend it :).
