HI, Just installed the updated Vox atc for p3dv5, however the recent comms message box is not working. The gauge is there in the menu, but when you activate it, it is just a white box, no text ever appears in the box. I tried unlocking it from the main screen and dragging it to my other monitor, but still no go, plain white box. Any suggestions on how to fix, or what I may not have done correctly. Do you need logs? if so which ones? Thanks for updating program to P3dV5. 🙂 Brian

Hi Guys Found my serial 😄 I'm a happy camper now, so nice and so easy to get vox setup in p3d 5, only issue I have seen so far under my test flight (EGPH to EHAM) is that on take off from Edinburgh, I was cleared to take off runway 6, half way down the runway there is a Jet 2 flight just sitting on the middle of the runway, thankfully I have crash turned off. Is this an issue with Vox or AIG? Should vox have seen that aircraft and not gave me clearance? What would is the best way for air traffic settings to run with AIG? I think I have 50% AI traffic on in VOX, and whatever AIG has recommended within AIG or P3D. So far I'm very happy, I can ignore an aircraft s…

Just had a great flight from KVGT to KPSP in P3Dv5HF2 with the latest VoxATC update using a mix of AIG, MWAI, FTX AI models. Just awesome! Best update of VoxATC ever!!! Thanks so much for your continued effort.

I'm just getting back into Voxatc now its available with P3Dv5. I currently don't have any 3rd party AI aircraft just the default, I've previously used UTLive with P3Dv4 but this wasn't compatible with Voxatc. Looking at various forums AIG appears to be a good source for AI for P3Dv5 and hopefully Voxatc. Can anyone confirm this before I start installing AIG as it looks a bit complicated to setup.

VOXATC has three types of optional visual cues to assist the user in the following the best taxi route. The first is a series of purple cones that point to the correct taxiing direction. This option can be toggled on and off in the VOXATC main window while running the sim. The other two visual cues enhance the taxi route and the hold short lines. These visual cues can be either enabled or disabled from the VOXATC Advanced Settings utility, under the Taxi Route Lights tab. Can I please get some advice installing the new P3Dv5 version of voxatc. I have had a voxatc registration since 2017 (7.41) but had a few problems that stopped me using it. I now have a new computer which has never had voxatc on it which has just P3DV5 (version 4.5 uninstalled). Also I don't have any 3rd party AI installed just the default. Are there any special precautions I need to take before installing this new P3Dv5 version. I also have some Voxpop 7.4 voices, will these work with the new voxatc for version 5.

Is anyone thinking of updating to P3d5? Im happy with my present P3d 4.5 setup, so for a change, I'm not going to be an innovator, as defined here: https://ondigitalmarketing.com/learn/odm/foundations/5-customer-segments-technology-adoption VOXATC 7.42 may not even work correctly in P3d5 as its AI aircraft may not be able to use airports with sloped runways. We can always dream of VOXATC 7.50.🙄

Hi Guys Currently have voxatc installed and working with 4.5 and just about to download for V5.. The original email address used to purchase voxatc has long gone and I can't find my book for the serial. Is there a way to extract this from install directory or registry somewhere for backup? I want to do a clean install once I know vox is working on p3d 5 on my system but don't want to lose my serial

Hello, I can use voxatc in p3dv5 but when I start voxatc with pre-made flightplan (p3d) I cannot see any traffic. I use AIG for this. Any idea? indexer seems to notice/sort AIG. If I start voxatc just by starting it without fpl I see traffic. No limiter is involved. Traffic is 50% set.

Hey all - Im trying to figure out how to tweak my traffic levels. If I set around 50%, I have ALOT of traffic at the gates, but not much actually doing any flying. This is tending to lead myself to lower frame rates for just static A/C and not much by way of taxiing/takeoff/landing, Maybe during about 15-20minutes on the ground 1 plan lands or takes off at populated airfields. Any idea how to tweak this? Im using the AIG AI traffic.

Hello. My problem with Vox ATC are the frequent delays or interruptions. Sometimes I have to pass my messages twice before it is accepted from the program, very often I get the answer "last aircraft say again" and especially during an approach instructions are very late or rather too late. Is there anything I can do to let the program work without those "interruptions" in communication? Axel

Hi All I've used VOX for many years now and have worked around a whole host of issues over this time to keep it working. This latest one has me stumped though... When I click the green enable button to start VOX, I hear the voices being tested and then the message "7.42 initializing....." remains showing, but nothing happens after this. In the past I have had fatal errors and have been able to identify the issue and work around or resolve it, but this isn't throwing a fatal error.... simply hanging. Ok I just purchased Voxatc after having tried the trial. When I load up the simulator (P3d v 3.4) and Vox only at KOAK (Pay ware) it says Completing Setup and does not go any further. I ran the indexer after I installed this airport. The navdata has the airport in it from what the other thread was the solution so that didn't work for me. Anyone else have any Ideas?

I have the VoxAtc trial. I installed all of the VoxPop voices, and enabled all the voices except the Microsoft ones in the VoxATC Voice Configurator. Then when I start a flight and clicked enable, it said "7.4 Initializing", but I don't hear "test, test" like i did with the Microsoft voices before installing the VoxPop voices. So I exited the simulator and went to the settings tab in the voice Configurator, and clicked speak next to the VoxPop Voices. I did not hear anything. I reinstalled the VoxPop voices and had the same problem. The Microsoft voices made a sound when I clicked speak next to them, so I enabled them, and disabled all the VoxPop voices. But when I…

Some minor bugs were fixed which possibly could affect VOXATC when used with P3d5. I don't know this for a fact, but it's always good to eliminate any risks when "pushing the envelope".

Hi Guys been using voxatc for years with little or no issues, last night I installed AIG Manager, and my first flight last night from Eham to Egph was a fail, 10 mins into the flight I get “fatal error disable voxatc” Atc voice is still heard but no pilot response. Also during the take off without the error I kept repeating itself a twice. i ran the indexer after setting up AIG so not sure what the problem is?

Hi, Could somebody help me please? I seem to be having a problem with the voices generated by VoxATC. When starting VoxATC and it runs through the test setup it sometimes returns a "blah" message. This also occurs when you request startup all you here is "blah,blah,blah" repeated all the time something is said. Also on a separate problem (or not) when you run the voice configuration software you have the option of Microsoft Mike and Mary available in the controller and pilot voices boxes, but when you select either one and push the "speak" button the program crashes. Hi Guys, Just tried to fly some circuits at Gold Coast..Was given a squawk code on the ground and all was going well... I was then instructed to squawk zero,,,Uhhh??...Whan does that mean? Any ideas?? Dave

Loaded new aircraft (MJ C-47 PBR) into P3D v4.5 HF2. Panel Setup does not recognize the aircraft (does not show up on list). Have run Indexer several times as well as restarting windows 10...no help. So I manually put in the necessary text into the panel.cfg file. When I load aircraft am able to pull of the VoxATC panel in the aircraft...it "initializes" as normal but then says "Startup failed, unknown FS aircraft type Douglas C-47 Finnair PBR" (see attached screen shot). Found previous post somewhat like this advising to use the Panel Setup to delete panels from all aircraft...did that but new aircraft still does not show up and still get the error message. Hel…

Hi there, I'm using VOX ATC 7.42 - installation is complete. I want to use VOX ATC with the FO, but for me there is no FO in the "window" and VOX ATC starts with "xxx set to xxx Ground" and not with ATIS. Does somebody has any idea? thanks and best regards

I, too, took the plunge and purchased VoxATc...Im kinda having a problem, though.I like to fly a little VFR route from my home airport, KEVV, to KOWB, a flight of about 15 to 20 minutes, before I head to work in the morning.I set up VotATC, listened to ATIS, get clearance from clearance, taxi instructions from Ground then takeoff clearance and headings from tower.Then I get the order to change to EVV departure.Here's where things go awry.The prompt says "departure," but VoxATC only responds when I used "approach." From then on, it appears to be trying tod irect me back to KEVV for landing.Needless to say, I never make it to KOWB under the direction of VoxATC.Could the pr…

The voice configuration just gives me the choice of Microsoft David Desktop and Microsoft David Desktop. But, I also show Microsoft Mark Mobile as on my system but not available in the app. Is it because of the "mobile" that it doesn't see it? I see that there are other voices available for download on the VoxATC site but will these work with the P3Dv4 64-bit version?

From where does VOXATC get its available approaches? In particular, many RNAV approaches seem to be unavailable as a choice from VOX. Can the available approaches be updated?
