Hi all I seem to have lost my Taxiway guidance lights in P3Dv4.1 and Voxatc 7.41. I do not have the check box "disable" ticked in advanced settings and I am departing from an airport with a ground frequency. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it back? Many thanks John

I just upgraded from P3Dv3.4 to P3dV4. So I uninstalled VOXATC7 for V3.4 and RE-INSTALLED VOXATC7 for V4. I now have a two-fold problem. First is the lost voices ( I read the thread and will try various solutions ) but more importantly, when I activate VOXATC, my frame rates are SERVERELY affected, even my mouse pointer, to the point where I have to end the flight and VOXATC. Anyone else having a similar problem. I am running Windows7-64 bit.

Hi all, I'm using VoxATC in Prepar3d v4 (4.0, 4.1 and 4.2). I haven't used it with previous sims. I usually fly with FO controlling the coms. Using voices from Ivona or Cereproc. The issue: In flight, when A.T.C. tells me that there's a frequency change, FO starts his/her readback, but only gets in a few words before their voice cuts out. So I never hear the full readback, which is unrealistic and sounds very odd. I suspect that this is because FO is changing his/her com frequency during the readback - this seems to happen around the time that speech stops. Questions: - Is this a common or ubiquitous issue? - Is their a fix? Thanks!…

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone else seems to notice the distinct lack of variety in the squawk codes assigned for IFR flight? Every single time it's '3 0 * *'. It's not a huge issue, but I was wondering if it's something to do with my setup or is it a common thing in Voxatc? Is there anything that can be adjusted in the config file to change it? P.s. I use P3Dv4 and Voxatc 7.1 Many thanks for your time! Mitchell Thomas

I have a unusual question to all VoxATC-Users here. I'm still searching a solution for FSX to TALK to ATC and AI. In DCS and Falcon 4 BMS we using only Voice-Attack and it works fine. (mainly operating the Menue's OK - but it’s easy and works for the last few years) This workaround doesn't work with FSX of course. One possible solution could be VoxATC. It’s not cheap but I hope this would be a better way as our DCS/BMS - Voice-Attack trick. My question: When I’m sharing a Plane with a guest-Pilot mounted to my VR-System, via a second PC/FSX-Session and a LAN-connection... He surely would hear my radio-message (if necessary via the intercom => "teams…

For those of us who use P3d, there is a new 64bit version due out next week. I presume software like vox will be incompatible with it as it is not just going to 64 bit but there seem to be some other fundamental changes too. You can have v3 and v4 on the same computer though.

Hi I was just wondering if it is possible in Vox to change the aircraft call signs to something else. I am sick of hearing Orbit etc, I would like to change some of them to Qantas, Virgin etc. Thanks John

I use MT6 with VoxATC and it's working pretty well. One thing though - where does VoxATC pick up the AI call signs that it uses? Is it in the aircraft.cfg file? I ask this because I hear some aircraft (I think it's military) being called "US" when I believe that should be "U.S." Is there a list of what airline call signs the program can recognize?

  10. I'm wondering if it's possible to do the following with the latest version: Scenario: In some time after departure you get an aircraft failure. You want to enter a hold to work out the relevant checklists. Is it possible to request ATC to enter such a hold? Next, while still in the hold (or maybe during a flight - doesn't matter), you decide that you need to return to the departure airport. No need for declaring emergency. Is it possible?

Is there a way of getting Vox ATC to launch automatically instead of having to start it from the panels? (Very annoying if your aircraft has more than 9 panels!) Especially interested if you can set up simstarter as an option to lauch voxatc automatically or not launch it! (You might want to do some FSX gliding so start your engine and taxying is tricky!) Hi, I'd like to get rid of the VOXATC window altogether, please see my post on remote panels. However, if this is not possible can anyone tell me how the coordinates work for positioning of the menu window? If I can't get rid of it altogether onto a client PC, then I'd like to have it open up set to a particular size and to a particular location in the P3D screen area. I have tried making changes in the aircraft panel CFG but it's hit and miss where it ends up and how large/small it is. Thanks and regards Dave

Any update on the bridge? Vox website says it will be released in a few months.

  15. I've noticed recently that the VoxATC AI uses pretty much every aircraft I have in the sim as potential AI, including complicated addons like A2A, Carenado and iFly737. Is there a way to force it to only use AI models? Interestingly, I haven't seen any major performance hit when these models are being used.

I have stumbled across a way to add some free 64bit voices in windows 7. I just installed them and ran a test flight with no issues. Directions are straight forward but does require some registry editing. http://superuser.com/questions/590779/how-to-install-more-voices-to-windows-speech May be old hat for folks here but I didn't find any reference via searching the forum. 21. I have been using VOX ATC 7.41 with P3D v4 for several months. Everything seems to be working fairly well, but when I contact ground control after clearing the runway I am always directed to a parking area - never an arrival gate. I only fly commercial aircraft and have "airline" listed in the ATC Settings. Flights are always begun at the gate indicated in the P3D flight planner. As far as I can tell, there is no place to select an arrival gate in P3D. Am I missing something in the VOX or P3D setup to assure that an arrival gate is assigned? Is there anywhere to assign or request arrival parking? Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hello, I have a license bought in 2014 directly on the site of voxatc. It worked so far with versions 6.x Today, I wanted to buy a version 7 and I was sent back to the site of RC SImulations ... So I bought a version 7 taking advantage of the update. On the returns of RC S. I do not have a new serial number, it is specified that I must provide the old serial number and a copy of the invoice but I have not found a place where to indicate this information . The process of buying the update could nevertheless go to an end and I end up with a purchase without being able to use it. Have others been in the same situation, thank you in advance …
