team 3 quick questions ..... is vox settings the only spot you can change the route # for an airline callsign using the FO for comms, does he/she set & switch the required frequencies as needed. with FSX voices unchecked, how do you hear an atis (or is it that voxatc creates its own - though on the fsx frequency) thanks

The total lack of response from Tegwyn regarding anything releated to Vox makes me wonder if something bigger is up. Pure speculation here, but what if VoxATC will be part of the new ATC system in the up and coming Dovetail Flight School and Flight simulator products. It makes a little sense in my opinion. It needs good ATC and Vox is the best in my opinion so why reinvent the wheel. Perhaps this is why Tegwyn cant comment. Again just fun speculation Mike

Hey VOX ATC X fans out there! Never got VOX running on my boxed version of FSX but I have it running on FSX SE. That being said, when I tried to install VOXPOP Base and a VOXPOP voice, the installer stopped each time with the following error message, "VOXATCX not installed." I tried running the installer from different directories, same result. Anyone have a clue? Thanks for considering! Rick

I know there is speculation over the future development of this great bit of software. I know, like many others we all hope Vox continues to move forward and not be left to vanish from circulation. I hope we get a update on future releases soon. Rob

I've noticed a new problem as of late. I think it may only affect the Aerosoft Airbus series however. It seems since I started flying this A320, whenever I cross a transition to an approach - ATC gives me clearance, then a minute later basically tells me to turn around... It acts as if I never crossed the transition waypoint and attempts to vector me back to it. If I actually turnaround, cross it, then turn around again. Itll let me continue on my way. Has anyone else seen this or know a fix? I don't recall this ever happening with PMDGs 737 so not sure why with the airbus. My workaround is to wait until Im a bit farther away, disable and then reenable vox and all…

Hi to all, recently Jorge Chavez Airport in Lima changed its ICAO from SPIM to SPJC. To reflect that change I've removed SPIM airport from FSX and replaced it by a new (except from the ICAO identical) airport called SPJC. Here's how I achieved this according to the ADE manual instructions: I opened stock SPIM in ADE, removed everything, saved/compiled empty copy to World Folder and thus made it load before the stock airport, then using the Pro Key of ADE I reopened the stock airport in ADE again, changed the ICAO to SPJC and saved/compiled the airport placing it at high priority in the scenery.cfg. Everything looks ok in the SIM, SPJC recognized and SPIM no lo…

Parallel installs... Switching from FSX to FSX-SE... not a problem. Switching from FSX-SE to FSX... not working. It's like one you go over to the other side with VOX ATC you are stuck. Only way to go back is to reinstall VOX ATC. Anyone know a solution?

I'll get details that are requested, but mostly looking for general nods of agreement (or not)... This all started when I updated Air Manager to the newest version (2.1.1?), I'm not saying that has anything to do with anything...I just noticed the weirdness when I did that. Hi. I am now using Vox ATC with Flight Simulator X and have got to say I really like it. However, there are a couple of issues which I need advice on. 1. When I am in flight, there is many a time where I come into conflict with other aircraft. For instance, when I am approaching the airport (localizer level), often there are other aircraft landing at the same time. The ATC does not apply any separation. I have never been put into a holding pattern yet and I have had many flights. I have the traffic setting on 50%. I am successfully using SIDS and STARS, but there are no holding patterns assigned to me. Another instance is when I'm at cruise level, the TCAS system…

Hi, I've been using VOXAtc for a few months now and I have a question and an issue. First the issue. Sometimes when the ATC sends me to the runaway I will get this error where It will tell me to ask for a permission to cross the runaway. Sometimes it will send me to a holding point where the same will happen. Anyway every time it happens it will screw up the ATC. If I ask for a permission it will say that it cannot with the request, or if I don't ask it I will keep on standing in the same spot forever. The only way to fix it from both positions is to disable the program and enable it once I'm airborne and away from the airport. Anyone experience the same problem? …

Hi all, I using Steve Colley's excellent Addon freeware airport for Southend. Unfortunately, when I use VOX ATC I have no AI traffic present. I use WOAI and this works fine when using FSX ATC. I've written to Steve and Tegwyn at VOX but no one appears to have a solution. I'm just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem at this airport or had a similar experience with an Addon airport that may help me resolve this. Many thanks,

Hello, shortly updated MyTraffic to version 6, which newly installs all its folders outside FSX. Since that Vox doesn`t recoq any AI_A/C thus no vox-generated traffic in the sim. Any idea how to tell vox dealing the new situation? Danke, Wolfgang Kuehn

Hey guys, I've been using VOXATC for a while now and have had a pretty finnicky time with it. I often get fatal errors, traffic behaving weird, etc. But this all goes away after enabling/disabling a few times. One problem that has not gone away is my inability to make requests to the ATC. The program seems to understand me fine if I follow the prompts on screen; readbacks, initial contact, etc. are all working without problem. However, if I stray from the script, both in expert mode and regular, I keep getting the dreaded "last aircraft say again." I have a new PC with windows 10 I am loading all of my simulator FSX and addons programs (apps) I have vox atc version 6.2 When I start the install of vox atc version 6.2I get the message " FSX service pack two is required do you wish to download it?" But fsx is installed an definitely has SP2 installed I actually followed the instruction downloaded and tried to install only to get the message that SP2 is already installed. I cannot get past the message " FSX service pack two is required do you wish to download it?" Any Ideas anyone? Thanks.

I've just purchased the VOXATC v6 DVD with UK expansion upgrade which has VOXATC v6.06 and UK expansion v1.2. just started using it and really enjoying so far. I notice there is a later version of the VOXATC product v6.52 on their website (to download) but no mention of the UK expansion pack. does anyone know whether I can download and upgrade VOXATC to v6.52 and if the U.K. expansion pack will still work with this newer version or am I limited to the earlier 6.06 with the U.K. a expansion pack. if anyone has tried this or could let me know that would be much appreciated

I spent some time testing this excellent ATC robot. Last time I had used such an add-on it was radar contact, in fs9 times... and I really wanted to try the speech recognition features of VoX So far so good, other than having to fight my microphone settings in Win 10 :-/ I did try a couple of VFR and IFR flights, and the results were good, very plausible indeed... The main use I intend to do of this program will be flying the PMDG 777, and also trying to use it with Aerowinx PSX because I have FSX:SE or P3D as a visuals platform generator for that 744 simulator. I didn't yet test the combination between the three programs, specially because I will need to …

Another issue I've run in to with Vox Atc is that I am unable to open my panel from a save file. If I start a fresh flight - I am able to load the panel without issue. What's weird is that I am able to load the panel from any of my saves prior to install vox. I prefer to load from my p3d save file as thats how I continue my legs. It keeps my panel and aircraft state saved right where I left off. Any ideas?

New user to Vox ATC here. Finally got all up and running and im very impressed. This addon feels like the missing link from all the addons (737NGTX/FS2CREW) - I'm very impressed. However having a few issues with AI. I currently use UT2 in P3D v3.1 which has worked fine. I loaded the UT2 bridge program, it did its thing and off I went to try a flight with AI. I loaded up the 737 at the gate of Taxi2Gate's MCO, Started up VoxATC - saw traffic generate and thought all was well. I have installed the demo version of VOXATC version 6.52 but I am having a problem with the PMDG B737NG. Once I load the VoxATC IFR Kansas City Intl to Eppley.FLT with the FSX default C172 or the iFly B737NG everything in the cockpit is OK, but if I change the aircraft from the C172 to the PMDG B737NG I get the following: In 2D mode various items are missing i.e. autopilot on/off switch, landing gear knob, various instrument panels are elongated and therefore you cannot read them, no knobs/switches are clickable (I just get a mouse pointer …

I just discovered that we can change the standard transition altitude to whatever we want. So, I changed it for Europe to 6000 instead of the default 3500 and tested it and it worked. I just thought I would share it with you guys in case some of you didn't know. Cheers

Hello, I use Voxatc and in all it works well but I have a pb when I use an airport with 2 runways whose one has not a SID (because it's not an IFR runway). Following the wind, Voxatc can choose the runway who has not a SID and give me a real but a wrong SID (the SID exists but Voxatc choose a SID haphazard therefore that not follows my flight plan).So, following the wind, sometime Voxatc choose the good runway with the good SID from my flight plan and sometime Voxatc choose the wrong runway and in this case the SID is not correct regarding to my flight plan. Someone has already had this type of mistake? Thank you in advance for your answer Franck.
