Thought I'd post this cause I'm fresh out of "I know what's causing that!" ideas. Iv'e had two what seemed like normal installs with one uninstall in between and have read every thread I can find. Simply put when I try and bring up the VoxATC window with any aircraft its installed to, the windows flashes for a fraction of a second and is gone, almost like the program is crashing. The VoxATC history window displays normally. There are zero messages. Anyone? any ideas? Thank you, for even reading this thread! :-) Rick

I found a topic on this forum advising how to keep the panel visible when switching views (thanks to the original poster!). "There is a line which can be added to the Vox window section of panel.cfg to any aircraft ..... type = special That will keep the window up when switching views. For some reason, every time an aircraft is asked to line up and wait, or exit next intersection after landing, my AI at the runways disappears after I've been given the green light to land. That's the only place I see it happen, because you can see every other traffic parked or taxing around the airport.

Hi, after sending 5 email support queries to voxatc support via different channels ([email protected], [email protected], website form) without getting an answer I ask myself whether others are experiencing the same problem. I'm trying to install the 7-day demo of VoxATC 6.51, but every time I run the installer it breaks off with a 'program stopped responding' message. I'm running P3D2.5 on Windows 7 64-bit. Anyone know what might be the problem?

This applies to P3D2.5. VOXATC 6.50 VOXATC nad GTN have been a pain with the constant P3D hotfixes=ASN fixes (XGauge)=GTN fixes=VOXATC versions. The panel.cfg for my A2A P28, Milviz B55 and Duke has been through many changes. Had to reinstall VOXATC mainly because of "black VOXATC windows" or the absence of traffic. Before I emailed the developer with my constant issues, I realized that: 6.51 doesn't work when P3D is the only sim installed - got this one from Tegwyn, the developper. I know usually forums are use to post problems and finding solutions, but I just wanted to say to the folks who came up with VoxATC, thanks. It was a little challenging at first to set up, but with a little patience, and some reading between the manuals and the forum, I was able to complete my first IFR flight using not only VoxATC, but FS2Crew on my PMDG Jetstream 41, which some of us know how challenging that is in it self. I would post a video of the flight, but I can't seem to be able to link the video on this forum. Regardless, thanks to you guys at VoxATC, if you happen to come by this forum.

Firstly Im using version 6.2 and in fact the problem mentioned is not the fault of vox atc. This only occurs on the east coast of USA where I was having trouble with a WOAI package and ended up deleting some files from scenery/world/scenery. now when Im on the east coast of USA and try to connect vox atc it gets stuck at "initialization" sorry Im a bit vague but I really dont know how to explain it better and wouldn't have a clue how to start trouble shooting. I have re installed vox atc but no luck

As soon as the demo expired, I went to get registered. I just need the registration since I already have it installed, so I went to the voxatc site and noticed they only take paypal. So I resurrected an old paypal account and was just about to pull the trigger when I realized I didn't know how the registration process worked. See, my wife is out of town and I'm looking for instant gratification. Is it true the process is not automated, and I could pay top dollar for it and then not be able to use it right away, while I wait for the key? Steve

I am running v 6.2+UK expansion pack on FSX Classic. I have been monitoring this forum for some time and have been put off upgrading so far. So is the latest version 6.51 stable enough to upgrade now?

Hi to all, I've recently updated my VoxATC to version 6.51. My first flight with the latest version started at LGAV, but after opening my flightplan LGAV to OMDB no AI traffic showed up. I use the Traffic 360 aircraft together with VOX ATC and before installation of the new version I had no problems. Strangely enough, if I fire up an older flightplan LSZH-KATL VoxATC nicely infuses all AI Aircraft into the sim as before. Can it be that the problem is the LGAV airport, which is an original FSX stock .bgl version and no AFCAD have been made. Any help appreciated.

Hey All - Anyone have an issue with VoxATC wanting to reroute you because of traffic alerts in every mission/simulation? Honestly, I think it's a great idea, but the fact that it happens every time in a simulation is incredibly frustrating. Especially at times when the PMDG is telling me "Traffic! Traffic!" it does nothing, but when there's no other traffic anywhere near me it wants to re-route me.. and not just "change your heading 5 degrees to avoid", it usually sends me about 50-60 nm off course (usually in a near loop)... Like I said, it's a great feature, but really annoying (might be too harsh a word) that it happens in every mission. TIA - Chris P…

I've purchased voxatc, can't find any demo. voxatc on start menu lists many items that one can set but no specific order. Set most of them and no atc dialog box in cockpit. Pressing zero just brings up 2d cockpit. I'm no computer whiz but have 737ngs, fs2crew and couple other downloads and no problems??? There seems to be no order of required setups. I've saved the flights etc but no dice. just a waste I guess. warren sherman

Does anyone know how to a) find out which airac cycle the reality xp waas gps (430 and 530) comes standard with and b) how to have the same one used by Vox ATC? I know that it is very old nav data but honestly I don't care, all I want is my gps and Vox ATC to have the same nav data so I can actually fly the approaches that I'm assigned!! I know that they are in a different format with the reality xp gps so I can't simply direct Vox ATC to use the same Nav data... If anyone has any info that might help it would be greatly appreciated!!

Before installing 649 I uninstalled the old version - all ok Installed new version 6.49 ok My purchased ATand T voices still TEST OK and play ok when VOXatc FSX does its initiallization. VOXpop voices do not play and ... VOXatc crashes during its FSX initialization when it tries to play TEST-TEST. I did not uninstall the VOXpop from my previous install? I just Uninstalled VOXatc, as instructed... What do I have to do to get my voices to play?

Hi Folks, The Vox generatet AI Traffic is to fast (i think so). My T7 travel @36000 feet with 0.84 mach. The AI Traffic is a lot faster. If I generate the Traffic via FSX its all OK. But 350-400 KIAS in 34000 feet for the AI is to much...isnt? Somebody know a solution for this behavior? Thanks

The two times I have departed Oslo the AI traffic have got stuck at the runway and wont take off, this has happened at both 19L and 19R, has anyone else had this issue or could someone check for me before I post on the Aerosoft forum about this? I am thinking this is an AFCAD issue but want to see if someone else has this problem. Thanks.

Has anyone else experienced VOX giving descent instructions earlier than the flight plan calls for. I've had it happen a couple of times where the controller clears me for initial descent maybe 30 to 40 miles early. I thought it might be the flight plan but I tried it with PFPX and Simbrief and had the same result.

Hey All - I just took the plunge and bought VoxATC, and I can't get the bloody thing to run. If I select the panel for it, it doesn't pop up. Only a small black box that sits over top the PFD. I can drag it around and expand it and what not, but I never get an "Initialize" box or anything. The recent comms box does the same thing... I've run the indexer a few times, un-installed/re-installed about 4 times. If I run it on any other plane, I get the Initialize box, but then about 10 seconds later I get a fatal error.... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Chris

Has there ever been any word on plans to include oceanic procedures? Right now, this is the main thing missing that's making my mouse hesitate on the "Buy" button....

I can't get VOXATC to work with the new PMDG 737NGX in P3D 2.4. Running VAPanelSelect.exe the PMDG 737NGX does not appear in the list and so it is not possible to install the gauges. I tried installing the gauges manually however after initialising VOXATC will report the 737NGX as an unknown aircraft. Anyone else having this issue? thanks.

Hi all, I am running the trial of VoxATC and I am quite impressed. I used to fly online but I do not like to have to alter my destinations because of ATC availability online. However I think the only way to keep VoxATC is to use AT&T voices. So, my question is, given the high quality and large size of these voice sets...will adding many voices degrade performance and use Prepa3D VAS ? I am not interested in flying with traffic, so I keep the traffic slider to 0% in VoxATC Settings.

When I setup the panel it takes sooooo long and i left my computer on the whole night i was sleeping (7.5 hours) and it still wasnt done and now its stuck at the end of the green "loaded" bar please do i just have to wait to should i do something?
