Hi All, Has anyone come across this? Sometimes when I enable, I get the voices saying "test" etc, then it says "6.50 Initializing", and it sits there forever.. Any way to get past that? Many thanks EDIT: Solved - it was a problem with the indexer not completing properly, it was pausing on Flytampa copenhagen. I just needed to give it more time to complete.

I am trying to find a way to configure the voices to go to the choice I have made in the output settings. When I start up Vox, it is always set to another choice. The program is working great, except for this little annoyance. I just switched to steam, but this has been this way since I purchased Vox. I'm just getting tired of having to open the Voice Configuration box to see how it is set.

I have been doing a lot of flights on v6.5 and find it pretty good on the whole, but have noticed that one piece of realism i have enjoyed on previous versions seems to be missing. i no longer get held at runway crossings and asked to advise when clear. Hope that changes.

Hello, Yesteday I meet a probleme with La Rochelle Approach : the lady did'nt answer to me after my announce. No "Last aircraft say again"... :( I was alone to land... I've reconfigured my prononciation but I hav'nt no better results. Some times, it's ok, sometimes not. Is there a way to delude Voxatc and follow my fly with the approach ?

once again the "last aircraft, say again" problem! I fly with the FSX (sp1 u. sp2, Windows 7 x64), everything is configured correctly, the headset works fine, and all the settings I've done as prescribed. BUT I have to repeat each phrase twice! VoxATC always says the first time "last aircraft, say again" The problem is at version 6.5 as well as in previous versions of VoxATC!!!

Hello All; I am trying VOXATC for the first time, hoping that it will work and I can switch from my current ATC program. However after install, I do not see my model aircraft listed to select and enable the ATC panel. I am using an add-on model called Prosim 737 (formerly Jetstream 737) which is required to use the 'Prosim 737 Avionics Suite'. Does the aircraft model require anything special for VOXATC to identify the model for selection of the panel? Regards, Michael.

hi, so i have voxatc installed and ut2 installed, all latest updates, all latest windows updates. I have read to get ai in voxatc I need to use ut2bridge tool so I downloaded it from the voxatc website, ran the software and all I ever get is a windows message saying it has stopped working and needs to close. This is doing my head in! Any ideas anyone?

So, I finally decided to give VoxATC a try. Going through the Kansas City tutorial, followed all the instructions to a T...even contacted Radio to open flight plan. I returned to tower, told them I was back on frequency, requested takeoff and got "Unable at this time." Tried various things including changing frequency (as per the manual instructions), came back..."Unable at this time." All the things that can go wrong with a flight in FSX and now I seem to be in a deadlock with ATC. I requested "contact ground" and it told me to "backtrack the ramp" (I have two jetliners behind me so even that's not going to work). None of this makes sense. Is there any solution t…

Hi guys, Without breaking the bank, what is a good over the ear headset with mic for VOXatc ? I seem to be having to say things over and over sometimes. Am sure it is my crappy Microsoft headset. Any recommendations for a £50 £75 or thereabouts headset that has a good mic. So I don't have to keep repeating myself. I do have a Sennheiser HD429s which I purchased today. It has a jack plug as opposed to USB and they seem to target tablets / phones these days. Before I open this mic (I may take it back) I thought I would ask for your experiences or recommendations. Hi guys, I have recently rebuild my P.C. Changed from AMD / Radeon set up to Intel i7 4790k and Nvidia Geforce GTX 970. FSX working great. Plus my ORBX regions etc. Vox atc is giving me grief though. I can reinstall it, configure the mic, run the indexer etc. When I try to use VOX in FSX it will not initialise. infact It pauses the sim. When i unpause the sim it just says initialising and gets no further. I ensured I have a flight plan. Infact I have tried to use a VOX demo one - no joy. Same as above. I am now using Vox ATC version 6. Do I still need to install VoxATC UK?

I've installed a fresh install of P3D v2.4 and VoxATC 6.49. However, when I try to enable VoxATC from within an aircraft, I'm getting a 'FATAL ERROR. Disable VoxATC' message. I've tried reinstalling VoxATC several times and I have made sure the voice recognition is turned on. I can run the indexer just fine and can install VoxATC into any aircraft. I also load up a short flight as well. It's just that when I try to enable it within an aircraft to use it, I see this error. It happens every time. I had no problems with VoxATC in previous versions of P3D. Any suggestions I can try? Is there any confirmations that P3D v2.4 and VoxATC work properly together? …

I am trying VOXATC before buying. I was cruising at 18000ft nearing the TOD point. I requested a change of frequency to get ATIS information at the arrival airport. This was granted. I got the information and changed back to the original frequency however ATC did not tell me to descend. In the end I requested descent but was told "Unable at this time". I tried requesting descent several times but was always refused. In the end I had to take over the flight myself and landed without ATC permission!!! The only thing I can think of is that I passed the point ATC wanted me to start descending when tuned to ATIS. ATC was miffed by this and as a consequence would not let me des…

Hi, For my last flight I chose the "Fly Full ILS Approach r/w XX" option and was told to report in at "white" (not sure what that is). However the VOX box just said "Fly ILS approach" and I didn't get handed over to tower. In the past I'm pretty sure I was given the tower frequency and was able to report in after flying my selected approach. So I basically landed and taxiied without ATC and the box still said "Fly ILS Approach"! Anyone seen this? Thx

No matter how much I have tried I never get ATIS information at the departure airport’, it always jumps straight to clearance. Is there a way to ask for it? Thanks to all Maz (Mauro)

Okay, third day. I did an uninstall last night and am doing a clean install this morning. The first two days were kind of rough with some "fatal errors", some VoxATC getting in "Unable at this time" mode. I spent a good amount of time last night after the uninstall reading through pages of this forum, seeing how other folks dealt with problems and found some solutions. First issue: When I reinstalled it said I had to register the version so...gulp...$77 USD. I didn't get my two week trial but, okay, I'll do it. Paid and waiting for my handy registration code. While I'm waiting, any tips you guys can send my way?

Hi all-running P3dv2.3. Only non-LM AI craft is ORBX NA and Oceania freeware (excellent!!). Vox spawns these fine in those areas. Anyone know how to add and where to get additional AI craft for Vox to spawn in other geographic areas? I have Traffic 360 and my traffic 5.4c but haven't installed either because sim has been running flawlessly for months and I don't want to upset that applecart. Any easy fixes? Thanks

I keep hearing so many wonderful things about VoxATC and I sure would like an ATC like this, but for some time already, I'm very hesitant to indeed make the purchase. The thing is, I have a stutter. It's not a very bad one, lots of people hardly notice it, but I've been messing around with Windows speech recognition, a couple of years ago, and it seems that my stutter is enough to make it quite hard on the recognition software, on regular basis. Are there other people who have a slight stutter and work with VoxATC and can tell me a little about their experience with speech recognition ATC?

Flew into Innsbruck last night and ATC control issued the star as expected . Then took over with headings to runway . If I followed them I ended up smack into the side of a mountain tried several times no joy . Using Orbx Europe and sure that uses default mesh. Only way to land was to ignore ATC . Any thoughts . Is there any further development planned on this product often lose ATC during final approach and end up going back to default ATC because I have to report on final and seems to get in a loop .

Hi there, After being away from VOXATC for a while, I decided to install it again but this time I'm flying the QW 146 RJ100 in Prepar3d. After installing VOXATC I run the indexer and then the panel setup, but I don't see the QW146 in there. Any suggestions of getting it to work in this great plane? Thanks
