I use VOXATC in Prepar3d 2.2 and got tired of the default traffic in Prepar3d, I got rid of the default airliners but kept the default GA traffic and installed world of AI. I got rid of the default airliner traffic by deleting and backing up the default airliners in the Simobjects folder. I ran the indexer and it indexed everything just fine. Now when I'm in Prepar3d and I initialize VOXATC it will give me a Fatal error. I should add that before I got rid of the default airliner traffic that I tested VOXATC with WOAI installed and default traffic and it worked perfectly. This problem only occurred once I got rid of the default airliners.

Hello everyone, I tried to contact voxatc but i get a proccessing error while doing so...here i am. I have downloaded and installed your software to test it. These are two commands I could do without in VoxATC flying smaller airplanes. Request startup does not make any sense since you normally dont want to using the radio until the engine is on anyway and battery loading. 20 years is general aviation and never have I heard or used that command with ATC, they have more important things to do. Looking past theses small issues I am having a really good time with VoxATC, sure it gets stuck sometimes mid flight and ATC forgers me and I need to sometimes change approach freq sfter just a few seconds and get a second squawk code from the new controller but its a good purchase and really have something going for it if develop…

I love the idea of VoxATC, a voice controlled ATC as opposed to pressing buttons. A lot more realistic, especially in the advent of FS2Crew and MCE. The following are idea's for future versions, however in no way criticism and not being a programmer I don't know how hard they will be to implement, so please don't hate me. 1. Hello once again! I have another question for you guys. I am really sorry to keep bothering you but i discovered this voxatc not long time ago and just know i am giving it a go. So, this time my problem is that while i am at an add on airport for example Heraklion X, AI traffic is parked where it should not be. For example, in military parking positions and is far from the standard commercial parking spots. In addition, i get some problems when vox atc handles my taxi to active runways. I'm testing VoxATC for the granted seven days (read I'm totally newbie with it). I do not understand how to file and open an IFR flight and get a clearance from a non towered airport (for instance PAVD). I do not see a way in the menu to call the FSS or ARTCC (Anchorage in my example on 119.3) on the ground or to file a plan in flight after having taken off. V-ATC recognizes the flight as IFR all right but doesn't give a squawk code either and there's no way to close the flightplan at the end. Googling the issue I saw it being raised several times but I've still to find an answer... Any clue would be appreciated.

How fast does everyone's AI aircraft taxi to the runway? Using Traffic Viewboard I clocked my AI at a speedy 8 kts! That's far too slow. I'm sure it used to be quicker than that. Does Voxatc control the speed of the AI?

Hi when I load a flight plan and enable voxatc,the radio check goes fine but it seems to skip atis and goes to ground. Am I mising something in the correct set up sequence as far as loading and saving the flight plan. Could someone tell me the definitive setup sequence or point me to a previous thread that gives this info of plan plan saving and loading and enabling vox atc. I have seen different ones. thx Lee

Im building a P3D rig and trying to plan out what software to use. I've used MCE with RC4 and VoxATC in the past, as well as VATSIM but my previous systems didn't have the greatest horsepower due to FSX. I am a helo pilot by trade, and VoxATC helped me immensely with my initial IFR ATC training, even with the minor issues it had. The voicepacks really make the difference. I am building my current rig for training; mostly helo SPVFR/SPIFR. Can anyone give me their opinions of how smoothly the latest version of VoxATC is with P3D and what improvements they have noticed since 5.x? I am also looking into pilotedge. This seems to happen every single time I use VoxATC, and I hope there is a fix as I spend $80 on this program and have yet to fully complete a single flight without major issues. Every time I come in on an arrival, I get clearance to fly the arrival, and usually a decent command, which is all good. But usually after a minute or two on the arrival, ATC starts vectoring me.... Ok, that's fine... But then it starts vectoring me away from the airfield and I usually fly 5 minutes in the opposite direction then it vectors me around to the original course... Flying IFR inbound to a particular airport, how do I check my ATIS? (so that I know which runway is in use?) There are no ATIS choice when pressing "0", and I am in contact with approach control or center control whom ever is in charge of the airspace I am flying in.

Greetings I am testing VoxATC. I would like to know if there is any official, or unofficial, method of restricting runway use. An example: At CYVR, the wind direction of 150, favours the use of runway 12. This runway is a crosswind runway and is typically not used for airline traffic departures. Vox stated 12 was active in the ATIS and assigned me that runway. I had the option of requesting a different runway 8R (very good!); but all of the AI was being routed to 12. I checked a live ATC site and CYVR was using 8R. Is there a way to tell Vox not to assign certain runways for takeoff or landing? I don't see anything in the manual, but I could have missed it. …

when I start the ifr tutorial flight , atc works fine for clearance ,taxi, and take off and tells me to climb to altitude. but after that atc just lets me fly indefinitly in the wrong direction which in this case was the asigned runway heading. did I miss something. Tried twice. thx Lee

I am on my first day of a version 6.20 trial and am having problems with the UT bridge. I have downloaded it and tried to run it from its folder prog files/internal workings/voxatc and I am getting a ut bridge error, ut2 not found. I have ut2 installed in my main fsx folder which is C:/FSX.Can anybody help please.

I was wondering, as I can't seem to find in the manual, or even an answer in the search forums, but is there a way to add the "Heavy" suffix to your Airline Callsign? as when i'm trying to add it in the setup, I get the error "only letters then numbers allowed" or something similar. Or is this just a feature not implemented (which would be a significant disappointment). I'm using v6.34

Hi as a new user, it would be nice to watch a comprehensive setup video that covers installation and setup. I'm surprise non exist. Anyone else agree? I've looked on YouTube and just see some demonstration videos but nothing instructive like other programs have. Thx lee

Apologies for the very trivial question, but I could not find an answer anywhere.... How much space do I need in my HD to install VoxATC? Is it different if downloaded or in the 6-DVD version? Also, would you install it in the same drive as FSX (I have it on a SSD) or it is not necessary? many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Pilots, I have a problem with VoxATC 6.20. When i click on "enable" button appears "Fatal Error". I used the same program last year and i had not any kind of problem. Maybe i'm wrong with the procedure. Guys, I have been using the trial version since 6/11 testing every day with various aircraft in my hanger. I started with v6.34 which was the trial download. That was problematic for me and then I saw posts here about v6.2 and switched to that. It has been much better using that but I still have issues that concern me (considering the cost of this product). I had a fatal error today that shut down Vox completely at cruise. I was able to get it started up again after cycling to disable and back to enable. I have done the training for both the Win7 speech recognition and the Vox flight training four times already hoping it would improve the recognition. I also did…

Hello, I am new to this voice ATC software, trying the VOXATC for the first time with its trial 7 days offer. I have been flying my FSX with PMDG NGX, using ActiveSky Next weather for the past year and more without any issues. Today, I tried VOXATC's tutorial VFR flight from Kansas to Eppey which after about 45 minutes into the flight, FSX stopped responding, needing to force quit both FSX and VOXATC. Later I tried using my usual flight scenario with NGX from Zurich to Munich. During this flight, I had lots of problems. Hi Folks, I have been trying the Version 6.34 after updating from 6.2 which I have used almost daily since it was released. Unfortunately it has been a thoroughly disappointing exercise for me in both FSX and my installation of P3D v2.2. I know that version 6.2 had some functional shortcomings but at least it worked faultlessly from the start of the flight until the finish. The new version however has meant that I have yet to complete a flight with it. Problems in FSX are: 1.
