Is there any fix to make AI traffic fly above FL300 (Airliners)??

  2. As the topic says, is there any way to make other parts of the world use the same type of atc used in Europe i.e QNH in Hpa instead of inHg. Because as far as i know only the US uses that?

Hi all, I've spent hours browsing the forums to find an easy way to solve my problem: I've been using VoxATC with the UT2 liveries via the UT2Bridge tool for quite a long time now without any problems. Because I upgraded my system to a more powerful computer I had to do a reinstall of my add-ons. The reinstall of Vox, UT2 and UT2 Bridge worked without any problems but when I start VoXATC at least 40percent of all aircraft have the unrealistic Daedalus liveries. I remember that in my old System this was not the case, hence there must be an easy way to remove the Daedalus repaints from the Weekly_Official_Db before using UT2bridge to load the liveries into VOXATC but I …

I've downloaded the VOXATC demo to give it a try. I'm consistently having problems contacting FSS to open my flight plan. It seems related to CLASS B airports as when I use Unicom at small airports, I did not have a problem. I am flying VFR and I have created the appropriate flight plan. All of my flights have been in the US. Anyway, I have searched for forums and while I may have missed it, I could not find any way to solve this problem. I have run through all of the suggested speech recognition training. All other voice transmissions are recognized...my only problem is with FSS. If I return to ground and say that I'm back on frequency, without being able to cont…

Hi all, I use VOX ATC together with Traffic360 and UT2. I just bought the Super Traffic Board as my latest add-on. As far as I know VOX only uses the Traffic360/UT2 aircraft without their importing any flight schedules, hence it does not surprise me that the Super Traffic Board only shows departure and destimation information for my very own flight and not for the AI traffic which is listed as well. Here my question: Does VOX use some self-generated flightplans and if so is there a way to display this information in Super Traffic Board? Thanks for your help. draci

I am trying VoxATC to see if it is worth buying. From what I have heard it is, however I have some doubts. My impression is that VoxATC doesn't really "recognize" what you say, but "more or less" crosschecks what you say with what you are supposed to say and after a number of repetitions accepts whatever you say. While I can understand the reasoning behind this, it leads me me to a problem when I make some mistakes, because I am not sure what went wrong. Is there any flexibility on what you can say (options a part) or do you have to say exactly what written in the panel? I am asking because I have read the manual and there are differences with the suggested words …

No matter what I try, VoxATC does not seem to acknowledge my flightplan. I open freeflight, starting at field of departure and let it load, then change aircraft, then enter flightplan (VFR of IFR) in fsx flightplanner and save it accordingly, Then I enable voxatc. But no matter what, voxatc treats every flight as a local flight. No other options. Disable and enable in flight leaves voxatc dumbfounded, first pointing me to local airspace controller and then nothing. What am I doing wrong?

I ask this because i have 2 issues: 1) When i ask for a taxi route the magenta markings that show me the route are not over the yellow line but more often at the side of the taxi road 2) I use My Traffic X with VoxAtc handles the traffic and the aircrafts are parked inside the buildings. So if VoxAtc sees addon airports as default that's why i have the above issues. Is there a solution? P.S.: I have run Indexer.

  11. I have just installed and am now setting up VoxAtc and cannot seem to separate my atc from the aircraft sounds. I have set up my speakers on my on board audio and my headset separate thru its own sound device through USB using the Windows7 sound settings in the control panel, but if i set the left tab in FSX sound options for the speakers and the right tab for my Vengeance 1500 headset, everything works right if i am using FSX ATC (which i obviously don't want), but as soon as i disable the voice in FSX ATC, everything goes through my speakers. In other words, i can't get VoxATC to talk to me through my headset without all the aircraft engine and other sounds. What am i doi…

Yesterday I flew from Helsinki to Frankfurt using AivlaSoft EFB and Active Sky. When I checked the METAR in EFB it said wind 240/7. Thus I prepared landing for Rwy 25. When I was in the vicinity of Frankfurt my Airbus told me wind 240/6. After a couple of minutes Tower said "expect Rwy 7R for landing". That was very surprsingly and I have that issue on a regular basis. From what source does Vox ATC get the weather data and how can I change it? Axel

People may find that VOXATC does not like this otherwise superb scenery, and gives a 'Fatal Error' for any flight starting at KMCO. There is a problem with the AFCAD as supplied, which does not join up the taxiways crossing the bridges over the road - this seems to confuse VOXATC and it gives up the ghost. The solution is simple - using a program such as AFX, join up the taxiways so that they cross over the road, and all will be well. I'll let Tegwyn know this solution, because other airports elsewhere may cause the same symptoms. Incidentally, I would highly recommend this excellent scenery.

Hi all, After a fresh complete new install of my system i have a strange problem with VOXATC. Before the it has always worked fine and never gave me any problems. But now everytime i start a flight and ask for clearance, i get a response that i am "cleared via (SID in my case ANDIK2E) departure then as filed matain altitude 0 feet squawk 3032. This was a flight from Amsterdam Schiphol but every other airport also gives clearance with "maintain altitude 0 feet". With this altitude clearance its better to take the car I am conviced that my setup of voxatc is correct. I use the latest cycle from navigraph installed in the leveld folder everytime i chan…

Hi I have just bought the DVD version of VoxATC 6 and immediately applied the 6.20 update. I can't seem to find a great deal of info about setting up AI aircraft in the VoxATC manual, the only real info I have found is searching with Google. I currently use UT2 for AI aircraft which I think is great, the only info I can find on using UT2 and VoxATC is a couple of years old from Google and the answer is to use a utility called UT2Bridge. I have looked in the main VoxATC folder and its not there, is this utility still required with the latest version ? The reason I ask is I am not getting any AI aircraft at smaller VFR airfields and even at London Gatwick I on…

Hello I am an rc4 user looking at the voxatc demo, when using the ngx i create the flightplan in pfpx and send export to fsx and ngx format, i then load the fsx plan into rc4 and load to ngx rte file into the fms, how does this work in voxatc, do i simply import my pfpx created flight plan into fsx and load my rte file into the fms, if so is this achieving the same outcome in voxatc or are there limitations compared to rc4, so far voxatc seems really good just trying to understand if it works similar to rc4, thanks

  17. Hi there, after I installed the demo the language in the default FSX ATC window (the one where you choose your transmissions) changed from English to German. I wonder why that happened and I cannot find any solution anywhere. An uninstall of the demo did not change the language back to English. How can I get the English text in the ATC window back? My OS and my FSX are in German, but the ATC window was in English.

Not having used VoxATC-X 5.63 for a long time, I'm surprised at how it doesn't seem to respond correctly to the things I say. To test this, I'm running the default tutorial VFR flight from Kansas International - Eppley. If instead of reading what I'm supposed to say I just mumble any old mumbled sound into my microphone, then the first response I receive back is "Last aircraft say again?" - which seems a completely natural and proper response. However, if for a second time I ignore what I'm supposed to say and just mumble some more unintelligle sounds into my microphone, then the dialogue is accepted as correct and the prompt moves onto the next stage. Is this bec…

Hi, I have re-installed VoxATC 5.63 on Windows 7 and everything seems to be working ok in FSX. However, when assigning a joystick button on my X-52 to my 'Press to Talk' function in VoxATC's 'Joystick Setup' application, the button detects just fine and shows correct operation of pressed/released. But when I am in FSX and press the button, I don't hear the static click of the radio when the button is pressed and I cannot talk to ATC. I am able to do so by using an assigned keystroke. Anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be? Thanks!

Hello everybody I would like to know how do I ask for clearance to transit Bravo airspace when flying a VFR flight plan with VoxAtc. For example, I want to fly from Gainesville KGLE to Campbell Corsicana Mun KCRS, and I have to cross the Dallas Ftworth Class B airspace. Before I enter B airspace the Menu options I have are to request a Position Fix and contact my destination. If I contact my destination the unicom tells me to enter downwind some rwy. If my destination had been KDFW (Dallas Foxworth) then before enter the B airspace then i do have the chance to get the clearance and then i receive vectors and heights to land. So, is there any chance to …

Hello, At this time, i think this is the best ATC program! Really! But i have a couple small suggestions to improve them : - ATIS, on departure is information "B", and on arrival, "D" or "E", is it possible to "randomize" the information letter? Same for the transponder code, it's allways 30XX (IFr flight). - is it possible to add a "repeat" option? Same for request a direct enroute? A fan of your software B)

Hello all, Here I am 2 years later trying again to make VOXATC work. 2 years ago I could not get any of my Airliner traffic to show up, only C172s. I was using UT2 then and by the time my 7 days ran out, I hadn't figured it out. Now here I am with the exact same problem using a brand new system and MTX this time and again only C172s and VOXATC only talking to C172s (and me). Everything works absolutely perfectly, except for the darned AI again, so it is obviously something I am doing wrong again, but I can't figure it out. I have run the indexer, the line in my FSX cfg is there about what folder my AI a/c are in etc, but I can't get any jets. need help…
