Hi all, I'm using VOX ATC for FSX together with Active Sky 2012 as a Weather Engine. I usually turn FSX weather and FSUIPC weather control off. If I switch to the ATIS frequency for the departure airport, the ATIS report from VOX ATC usually matches the METAR provided by the Active Sky 2012 ACARS Device perfectly (or at least very closely) making it easy to predict the departure runway which will be assigned. However, once I get close to the destination airport, some 100 nm out, I usually switch the VOX ATC frequency to the arrival ATIS to get a runway forecast in order to anticipate the star and runway that will be assigned later by approach control. I recently installed FlyTampa's CYUL Montreal. Every time I am transferred to the approach frequency, VOXATC crashes and stops working. I don't think there is any problem with the flight plan as VOX recognizes the waypoint that triggers the star. I always have the FO handling the radios. Any ideas? I would like to be able to enjoy this airport.

Hi all, I use VOXATC since a short while and love it, although sometimes still getting to grips with it. I use MyTraffic2013 for traffic, but I don't see as much traffic as I'd expect. When I do not use Voxatc and set fsx traffic sliders to 100%, I get masses of commercial and GA traffic at a large airport. When I do use Voxatc, set fsx traffic sliders to 0% and voxatc traffic slider to 100%, I get 5 to 6 aircraft tops at a large airport. No generic fsx traffic though, they are MT2013 aircraft, but they are way low in the numbers. I have rerun the indexer just to be sure, but this does not help. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Stupid question is the question never asked... So I am inbound to ATLANTA from CHARLOTTE and the center controller advises expect rwy 10. So I see a couple things wrong here... First I am not a general AC, I am a heavy T7 and on the approaching STAR from CLT should have been 8L or 9R for approach. So is there a way to modify to allow you to request a different rwy?

Hi I enjoy VoxATC so far and might go ahead and purchase after demo ends. Is there a way however to exclude the defaul Commercial traffic that VoxATC genereates. I am happy with what VoxATC does with GA traffic but hate the "Orbit Air" and others mixed with my World of AI traffic. I dont mind so much eather that WOI traffic are not flying their correct scheduels but removing the default Commercial traffic would really add so to the experience. Thanks Mike

So I installed according to the user manual, disabled traffic, and ATC in fsx... And everything I have tried to this point from flight plan creation to getting it up and running has failed. Either I gt voices or I don't on startup. If I go to views then instruments then voxatc click on enable it comes up with fatal error. If I load a flight plan from the home screen it fails to load. So I am scratching my head trying to figure it out

Hi folks, you know when something goes really well and you want to tell somebody! Well I just finished what is probably the best flight yet in my iFly737 hardware cockpit. Flew from ksea to klas, used PFPX to plan the flight, used topcat to sort out the load, fuel and balance, used MCE to keep the Co pilot busy, used Gsx to handle all the ground stuff and of course VoxAtc for the atc. Everything went perfectly. Got the right runways and sid, right altitudes, descents and vectors to the right runway at klas. Opus gave me the weather. The sim was P3D. V1.4. Another nice thing was that I set up the Co pilot voice in VoxAtc to use the same Ivona voice that I use for the …

Hi all, can anyone tell me how VOX ATC chooses the cruise level it assigns and how I can change it inflight? I usually use FS Commander to build my flight plan and load it into FSX. My preferred aircraft is the PMDG 747-8i.I usually choose my flight level to optimally suit the current weight of the aircraft and perform ICAO-step climbs during flight. However, VOX ATC doesn't let me do this. It assigns me cruise level FL 370, and I request FL 290 (because I've just departed Rio on a 10h transatlantic flight to Lisbon and am quite heavy!) and according to my weight a FL 290 would be optimal). Can someone maybe explain to me how VoxATC traffic is generated? Does it even look at BGL files? I ask this because I mainly fly from and to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, but when using VoxATC I see no KLM planes whatsoever, whereas in real life EHAM is crowded with light blue KLM aircraft. The traffic I use is World of AI and when I set the traffic sliders in FSX to 50% or so, I see lots of KLM planes, just like it should be. I also have IVAO MTL aircraft installed.

Hi all! If I don't read back a clearance correctly on the first attempt, VoxATC wants me to 'Say again'. On my second attempt my readback will ALWAYS be accepted, no matter how right or wrong it is. (It is even sufficient, to just key the microphone for a second without saying anything.) Does anyone know whether this can be changed in the configuration/settings or even manually in something like a *.cfg or *.ini file? I'd like to have a higher number of mandatory readback attempts before VoxATC accepts any kind of my 'jabbering'. Thanks!!

So I have noticed a little quirk with VoxATC that is a bit annoying. Sometimes it is spot on and sometimes it is so off the mark that it has almost killed my virtual plane. One thing it seems to get consistently wrong is the altimeter settings while on the ground. You tune into the ATIS and the green ticker starts scrolling across the top and the ticker will say Altimeter 30.08 but VoxATC will say "Altimeter 29.96" (or any number of numbers that don't match the ATIS green strip). If you have FSX ATC turned on and listen to their ATIS read back at the same time as VoxATC, FSX ALWAYS gets the Altimeter right on the strip but VoxATC is hit and miss. As the ME…

Every single flight I have to deviate my course because of traffic. Its really annoying me as it happens every single time on every single flight and I am trying to keep to schedules and working on specific fuel loads etc. Is there a way to turn this off?

Hello, is there an opportunity to increase the AI- traffic speed? All aircrafts are taxiing with just 10 kts or less and it takes always a long time to get to the runway if I am behind an AI plane. I tried Flusi fix but that does not work with the VOX ATC traffic. Axel

Hi, I'm looking into VoxATC & thinking of giving it a try. Can anyone please tell me 1) why does it cost £45 on voxatc.com, and £85 on rcsimulations.co.uk ? It certainly looks like the full version for £45 on the voxatc site, & I don't fancy paying £85. and 2) Is there no official support site? I see lots of good comments about the software, but I also see lots of annoying points mentioned in this forum, and I'd really like to see one of the developers responding somewhere, to get an idea of what is being addressed in the future, but I have not seen them do so here at VatSim. Hi, I've recently been trying out the demo of VoxATC and will soon be buying it as I've been very impressed so far, however, I have a few questions I'm hoping someone maybe able to answer? 1) Is the AI traffic generated randomly each time VoxATC initialised? I have TrafficX installed so I see the right airlines at each airport but I seem to see the same aircraft at the same gates at an airport each time I start VoxATC. Not really an issue but I was just curious! 2) Once I have landed and vacated the runway, I get taxi instructions to the gate, but I always seem to get allocated the same gate. E.g. when flying Easyjet into Bristol International I always get …

I just picked up PFPX and made my first flight using it KLAS to KSFO. It was a rather short flight and my FP had certain STARs & SIDs. When I used VOX everything was fine during takeoff and I was given the same SID, but midflight VOX directed me to fly 3k higher than my cruise level which I thought was odd (any reason why vox would put me on a different cruise level with no traffic around?). Also, when I arrived I was put on to a different star than was in my flightplan. I was trying to see how accurate I could be with my fuel calculations and being on time to the minute with waypoints. Is anyone able to use vox atc with the pmdg 777? I look through the options of planes of which I can install the vox panel into and 777 is not listed.

Hello everybody, I wanted to install the trial version. I have then the problem, that the Indexer stops at several BGLs: OBX55150, OBX55140 etc Cancel doesn't work, I just could click to close the window. I have taken now these affecting BGLs out of the FSX folders, indexer runs till to the next stop which seems to be always the next lower OBX...BGL Now I can't go further at it seems I have to take out all OBX... files .... Haven't tried Vox ATC in FSX now, can't say if it works now as it should. I've noticed I can tune the Departure ATIS with VoxATC but can't find an option to tune the Arrival ATIS. Is this not modelled or am I missing something. Had a look in the manual but can't find anything regarding the Arr ATIS. Glen

I've flown a flew IFR flights but not getting assigned STARs, just cleared to land in a few nm away from the airport . I am getting SIDs. I have checked in the Procedure Pronunciation Editor and all the STARs are there for the airports Ive flown to: WSSS, OMDB, and EGLL. In my flight plans the last waypoint is: WSSS: ARAMA OMDB: BUBI5C EGLL: OCK1D I overfly the last waypoint and get no direction from ATC.

Hi guys i think i found a bug in Vox Atc indexer. I wanted to use VoxAtc along with UT2 using UT2 Bridge. At first it seams that everything is OK, Vox Atc worked without any problems, but i wanted to update my traffic in UT2 so i installed some updates. Run the indexer and the UT2 Bridge again just to make sure that everything updates. But the problem was that my traffic in FSX (spawned with Vox Atc) whats messed up real good, I've had Cesnass using the right flight plans but no other aircraft's except few Mooney's and other GA aircraft's. I had searched everywhere for a solution but i didn't find anything similar to my problem. So i tried to make some steps…

Good afternoon everyone, Today I tried a flight with the VRS Superbug, and before I could even make my first contact with ATC, the message "FATAL ERROR" would come up.
