As the title implies is VoxATC still supported by the developer in both support on this site or email AND further development. I am looking to buy a good ATC package, from what I read VoxATC seems to cover real-world procedures better that other packages. One of my criteria for buying software is that its still developing and supported by its developer and not just by the very helpful user community. Glen

Doing a flight yesterday from KSFF to KJAC and ATC wanted to vector me into mountains, was quite interesting seeing as it was IMC! Is there any way to avoid this please?

Hi all , I understand that if you launch vox atc UK whilst already in the air flying it is supposed to recognize this , mine acts as if I'm still on the ground at the airfield. Any clues please , this is not loading a flight plan , but flying vfr.thanks.

I've twice been given a Loop 6 departure out of KLAX. On both ocassions I've been told to "climb and maintain" without a specified altitude. This happens both in the clearance and when I contact the tower when ready for take off.In both situations I have to repeat the "climb and maintain" readbck several times before being able to proceed. Anyone have any ideas? I've flown other SIDs without this happening. Richard Johnson

Hello, The way I understand it from reading some older topics here is that airline parking codes are not recognized by VoxATC so aircraft don't park at their correct gates or spots. Has this been implemented at all or are there plans to add this into the VoxATC program? I use MAIW military traffic in FSX and all the military aircraft are coded to park in specific spots. I would hate to have different squadrons all parking together or Air Force parking with Navy for example at different bases. have just got around to re-installing voxatc on my pc having changed from win7 to win8. I downloaded the voxpop base installer but it will not install. It says "there is a problem with this windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Any ideas? Didn't have any issues under win7.

Im trying to locate my version without luck. I want to update so can anyone tell me what is the latest version? the website says 6.5 but I have seen 6.6 mentioned as well My version is 12 months old so maybe there is no further upgrade available?

Aside from the opensource VoxPop voices that are available from the VoxATC web site, are there any other opensource solutions for additional voices that are available? I've Googled till my fingers ache and have not found a thing.

Hi, I seem to be getting aircraft parking on taxiways instead of actual stands especially with max Kraus's TBPB. I have done the indexer about 4 times and still not helping.... Im also finding that the ai traffic are taxying on to grass and not on the taxiways.... does anyone else have these problems...

Hi I wish to make a step climb and am flying IFR. When I have asked for higher the flight level I have been given is far too high for the current weight of the plane. So my question is how do I ask for say a climb of 2,000ft? Thanks Nixon

In many airports, some runways are only used for takeoff or landing, not both. For example, LEMD, never comes takeoff from the tracks 18L or 18R (I guess they fly over densely populated areas, or nearby mountains), 14L or 14R are used, or wind depends, from the 36L or 36R. Can VoxATC disable runways for takeoff or landing? Regards

I have just tried to instal my VOX ATC panel into the Airbus Extended but when I run the VOX ATC indexer there is no mention of the Airbus. Has anyone else tried to install the VOX ATC panel? and if successful, how did you do it? Regards Nixon

Is there any other way of loading flightplans into VoxAtc. I'm having trouble using VoxATC with FS2Crew together with the PMDG NGX. I've narrowed it down to the need to load the flight after saving the FSX flightplan. For some reason this gives a 'cannot find SDK error' with FS2Crew. Of course if I don't go through the standard process everything is okay but VoxATC can't find any flightplan Any thoughts Note: Only the NGX, other aircraft work fine. Mike

When i try to install VoxATC I get to the the VoxATC Panel Setup window and there are no aircraft to select? Please help!

I have a problem getting VoxATC to use SIDs and STARs. I am using VoxATC v6.05 with FSX in a Windows 7 64bit environment, with 8GB ram. Only add-ons are VoxATC, FSUPIC, Reality XP’s GNS530W, and RealAir’sLancair Legacy (my IFR platform). Here’s what I have done so far, based on reading the manual and Forum postings. 1 Downloaded the latest NaviGraph navdata FMS file for Level-D 767 format, installed into the FSX directory (Flight Simulator X/Level-D Simulations/navdata), and pointed VoxATC to that subdirectory in Advanced Settings; run the Indexer; and checked that SIDs and STARs are now available to VoxATC by loading VoxATC’s procedure pronunciation editor an…

Could anybody explain to me whether it is somehow possible to use VoxATC WITHOUT speech recognition or not? I'm asking this because I run the dutch version of Windows 7 professional and I don't want to change my OS' language, but I feel VoxATC is the best offline ATC solution available because of the SID/STAR ability. I'm not sure if this is a VOXAtc issue, or a OpusFSX issue, but since I first noticed it while using VoxATC, I'll post my question here. I have a button set up on my yoke that toggles the VOX repsonse window on and off. When I do it, I noticed the other day that a cloud layer disappears when I click it off, and returns when I click it open. I noticed it does it also when I click open the GPS window. Any ideas what is causing this.

Hi, as a long time RC user, I am very interested in VOXAtc and its features that are not implemented in RC. There is anyway only one thin that keeps me off, the lack of the possibility of a networked usage through WideFS (or Simconnect) and I will not purchase it until this feature is included. Are there any chances that it will be in a next update? Thank you.

I really like VoxAtc, but it is effectively useless for arriving in Vancouver. This is an airport in Orbx Pacific Northwest and also the subject of an upcoming release from FSDT, so I would love to get the approaches working with VoxAtc. Vancouver is flanked by substantial mountains to the North East and VoxAtc consistently vectors me into them. Even when the STAR I am on terminates on the safe side of the runway, Vox take me off it and to the other side of the runway. I realize that the program doesn't read the terrain elevation when vectoring, but surely it could choose to vector from the side of the runway that the STAR terminates at. I know the developer…

Hi Guys, how can i delete the general (civil) aviation ? they are to much and its not real. i use the ut2 and voxatc, ut2 can choose the general aviation in percent but vox atc not. how can i do this ? thanks george

Is it possible to work this ATC via keyboard only, as done with say RC4. Prefer not to use mic/voice control. cheers

Hi everyone , here's an odd one , I have horizon gen x v3 for UK + all the vfr airports/fields , I am getting vox atc placing ai traffic where the airfields packages are placing static aircraft , ie , at raf valley I have a few lines of black bae hawks & when I enable vox atc those hawks grow default microlight wings , weird , is there a fix for this as it really does spoil the immersion.thanks.

I just got VOX ATC after purchasing Pro ATC X and becoming too frustrated to use it. I must say VOX ATC is absolutely awesome, easy to use and joy to fly with. I have done 4 flights with it so far. My first flight was from KLAS-KPHX in PMDG NGX. It went perfect and the vectors on approach were great! Then I tried the return leg back to KLAS so it was KPHX-KLAS.... The SID was given perfectly as well as the transition and the cruise was flawless. However when I got to the T/D on the arrival (TYSSN3)nothing happened and it didn't tell me to descend until I was about 30 miles from the runway. The approach was shot. I retried the flight again with a different…
