Hello !After ATC close my flight plan, how do I load a new Flight plan, do I need to restart FSX ????Thanks in advanceYiar

Guys,I've used VA 6 for some time but never intensively. Now I've to decide if I'll give it a new try on my freshly setup of FSX.My current installation is optimized for cruising around southern germany and switzerland with the aerosoft katana 4x. That means the most time I fly under VFR. Now I've got a set of ICAO charts for this region for the most possible immersion.My question is: Where does VA get it's airspace structure from? Is it read out of the FSX structure (which is not the real deal) or is it possible to get VA to use an actual and more complete and logical airspace structure. I have two flight simulators one using Vista and the other much larger using Windows 7. I have installed Vox ATC UK and Vox ATCX in Vista with no problems. Has anyone installed my version of Vox ATC in Windows 7 64 bit. I have a large amount of hardware in my Windows 7 sim and wondering if any problems might arise that are known about.HNERY

While flying KSEA to KLAS (FSBuild created flight, no SID, STAR data), VoxATC had correctly assigned the arrival (sunset2) and later runway (25L). Then when I was about half way through the arrival Vox ATC vectored me off the arrival it had already assigned me to some new obscure arrival, it appeared the airplane was in position to just turn East to execute the new arrival. This took me too close to testing the paint on top of a mountain. The arrival and approach did work but I suspect the controller would be looking for a new job. it seemed to be sort of like the closest distance to two points approach not really how it would be done, based on terrain and accepted arriva…

Hi Guy's. Does anyone use the Process Affinity option in advanced settings to improve performance?Just wondering if theres any benefit in assigning single cores for Vox ATC as i appear to be running all my four cores on it as i do for FSX and other add-ons according to task manager.

I've just bought the retail version of VoxATC 6 after a week with the demo and began to wonder if there was anything I need to do in the settings menu of Ultimate Traffic II? Do I need to set the traffic to 0% as in FSX, or should I just leave it alone?

At what point should Vox ATC start having me descend? There have been multiple times when I hear nothing but after I request to go lower they give me the go ahead to descend. Is there an issue here?

Hi Guys, I have recently purchased voxatc 6, and as i am in Australia I enjoy flying out of Hervey bay. The pronunciation of the airport name by the vox voices is driving me nuts. Is there a way of changing the text so they might pronounce this a little better. I have tried to do this on the ' Procedure Pronunciation Editor' but with no luck. I purchased the Ivona Voice ' Nicole' (aussie voice) but she is worse, and prounces it ' Herv Bay' . Any help would be fantastic. cheers.Steve.

Hi there,I've seen a couple of problems mentioned on this forum with an early descent, that's not my problem.I'm flying the PDMG 737-800 ngx and am always getting told at the top of descending to descent, BUT I always have to go down too steep ( I mean 2300 ft/min at least) and even then I have to circle a couple of times to get me to the proper level for landing.I have started to ask ATC about 40 miles before my T/D for descent to 5000 ft which will keep me on line with the FMC descent line.Is there a way to get VOX ATC to let you descent earlier?ThanksLeo de Haan

Hi All.I've just downloaded the demo version of VoxATC and patched it to v6.06 as per a thread I read recently regarding its use with the PMDG NGX aircraft. I'm looking for a more realistic ATC addon for use primarily with the NGX, and VoxATC seems to fit the bill.I spent a couple of hours last night 'training' my voice and running through the supplied IFR flight. VoxATC is very nice, albeit with slightly 'mechanical' voices (a la Stephen Hawkin), nevertheless, the voice interaction adds another level of realism for me. It's far better than hitting switches! I am using XP 32 bit. I recently upgraded to Version 6.05 (From 5.X). In VOXATC Settings the User Manual, page 8 shows the screen for adjusting the speech rate. I am sure I had that with my old version 5.X. However, for 6.05 the screen is only half as tall and the Speech Volume adjustment and Average Speech Rate is gone. Where can I find these settings? The voices are extremely slow compared to what I am used to.Vann

Just wanted to say that I am really enjoying VOX ATC - ease of set up, immersion and general handling of AI once in air. However, I have noticed a few issues on the ground and wondered if these were normal and whether other users get them as follows:1. If I get too close to another aircraft when taxiing it often vanishes completely (I assume this happens to other users?); and2. I also get some of the AI on the ground getting lost i.e. the odd aircraft wanders off the taxipaths. This may be an AFCAD issue and I have only really noticed this at add on airports (this is where i tend to fly through) but I have removed the duplicate AFCAD from the Mytraffic folder (using the…

Every once and a while when I'm setting up a flight I will forget to load the flight planbefore I actually spawn the plane at an airport. Particularly prone to this these daysbecause I enter the plan into the FMC with most planes anyway and don't care aboutthe plan the sim itself might have loaded....But of course VOX needs the plan from the sim, so ok, but what I don't understand iswhy if I disable VOX, then load the plan, and then re-enable VOX doesn't it work??I always seem to have to 'end the flight', go back to the main menu, load the plan, andTHEN respawn the plane, this is very aggrevating, and if the sim itself can handle havingthe plan loaded at that later point …

VoxATC will not recognize the Level-D navdata that I have installed from Navigraph.Under VoxATC X – Advanced settings. I click the Browse button and navigate to the folder that contains the Navdata files. C:\FSX\Level-D Simulations\navdata. I then receive a pop up that says: "No NavData found in C:\FSX\Level-D Simulations\navdata. Any Advice?

I have the traffic slider around 25% in VOX. I always see 2 or even 3 other active planes around me during departure. On landing, its another story, as I've never have seen ANY other AI landing at the same airport. Does the traffic slider need to be way up for this?Just curious,ThanksTony

I bought Vox Atc about three months ago and have not yet installed it, as my concern is there may be a conflict between it and the NGX.I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues when running these two add ons together?Any advice on how best to set up Vox Atc would be gratefully recieved.

Hope someone can clear this up for me....Every time I fly into Chicago (KORD) Vox is sending me to runway 32L. I'm just curious why it is sending me there when 32L is NOT used for landings at KORD. Is there some sort of setting or something I can do so VOX does not try and land me there?Thanks

I downloaded and am trying the trial version of VOXATC. It took a little doing to get it setup but I think everything is as it should be except for one problem.When I am speaking VOXATC commands it appears that random windows commands are executing as well. The FSX screen minimizes or a pull down menu opens up. Sometimes I get a Window indicating a totally different program is being asked to startup, plus a host of other things all appearing to be windows commands.Since Windows Speech Recognition is intended to allow Windows to be controlled by voice command it makes sense that this would interfere with VOXATC unless there is a way to prevent Speech Recognition from s…

Planning to buy the VoxATC but first want to try out the demo. Downloaded, and in Win7 Pro 64-bit OS FSX SP2+Accel. Followed the instructions in the Readme.txt to use setup.exe, which I did.First go I actually got to a window that displayed all the aircraft in my FSX hangar, but then when I pressed the install button, I got an Error 1001 page. So, uninstalled, deleted from the directory, made 3-4 attempts to re-install, this time no choices of aircraft in FSX, just a blank box where the aircraft in my FSX hangar should be listed.On pressing Close, again, Error 1001 dispalyed.Any ideas? I have read previous threads but no answers there.
