Hello, When I fly a flightplan I get a SID from ATC ! That works great. But I never get a STAR from ATC for the landing! Can anybody help and tell me how to get a STAR ???? Kind regards!

I have installed and run ut2bridge. However when I place my aircraft at Birmingham all I get is the default Cessna 208 everywhere. I am running with UT2 traffic and the default traffic set to zero, and VOXatc traffic at 100%. David West

Hi,Maybe this is a strange thing to ask, but, I gonna ask anyway: is it possible to use VOXatc without the voice recognision; can you use the program just like the default atc or RC4, with key assingments?Thanks,Harmen

I had FsXpand working OK but I think VoxATC conflicts with it because FsXpand now reports "PollFS Overflow". I have only a day left on the VoxATC 7 day trial!FsXpand is on PC2 with FsClient.Has anyone got FsXpand and VoxATC working successfully together?Thanksfredpop

I was doing a flight KSJC - KSAN, the real commercial flights for this have a cruise altitudeof anywhere from FL370 to FL410, the route is: SJC9 MOONY AVE FIM LAX BAYVU1 The problem I have is by the time the flight makes about FL370, which is around FIM thecontroller will already tell me to descend!! This is like 250 miles out!! I am in a PMDGNGX, and top of descent isn't even close. In this day and age, with the costs of fuel, you KNOW that controllers are not doing this.I can just ignore it, or descend VERY slowly but it defeats the reason for using the thingin the first place :) I also am unable to get to FL410 because of the slowness of clearances. Hello, I can't get ATIS information at Aerosoft Ibiza (LEIB) found two 117.8 and a second one ATIS 119.8Two ????Tune in at com1 and 118,00 is the lowest freq I can get in the Level D 767.Also use MCP Combo.Both ATIS 117.8 and 119.8 are not working!If I start at Nice Côte d`Azur Airport and eneble VoxATC 6.06 ATIS is already on the screen to choose !!!!Does anybody know why ????

I have VoxATC 6.05 that I am running in the 7 day demo mode. The last two nights when I tune to the ATIS freq. displayed by VoxATC I do not here any ATIS audio. The message in the box say 'Listen to ATIS' and after a minute or so it that message disappears and the next message appears. I am flying the IFR flight plan that installed as part of the VoxATC and the ATIS worked fine at first. I have even attempted to create new flight plans at different airports with the same results. After the inital ATIS contact (which I do not hear) VoxATC communicates as normal. Any idea why I can no longer hear the ATIS message Thanks

Hi,today I took a flight from KSEA to KSJC. All went well, approach told me to follow Golden Gate 6 arrival.But a bit later they started giving me vectors. This was kinda OK although I had hoped for a STAR approach, but then it turned worse since the vectors was directing me into mountains. I then had to just ignore VoxATC and avoid the mountains. I have several questions:It seems that I ALWAYS end up being vectored instead of just having to fly a STAR. How can I change that? The controllers are awfully late telling me what runway I can use, is there a way to get this information earlier? ATIS might work, but I cannot get it on COM2 for some reason, and I hate switching a…

One thing that I really love about Vox (and default ATC) is being able to hear the name of the airport (even small ones). I've noticed a couple of airports where Vox does not read the entire name, though. For example:* Detroit Metro (KDTW) refers to itself as "metro"* Grand Canyon National Park Airport refers to itself as "canyon"So when calling ATC, I'll have to refer to them as "Metro Ground" or "Canyon Ground'.Is there a reason why this is happening, and can this be fixed so Vox reads it correctly?

I've posted a few moans on here before about the new VOXATC, and have to do it again. I just cant understand whats going wrong.I used 5.63 (and previous revisions) without too many issues, but dont think i have had a good flight yet. Its gotten so bad that i hadnt bothered getting on the flight sim for a few weeks because i was feeling so frustrated at it crashing randomly, but tonight thought i would have another go. How do the SIDs/STARs work in Version 6? I realize ATC will assign you one when leaving/arriving the airport, and I assume it would be by name. Is it based on which direction you are going to/coming from, the runways in use, or both? Is it up to you to look up the SID/STAR and fly it correctly, or does ATC vector you along the SID/STAR? Finally, can the SID/STAR database be updated when things change with the procedures?

Hello, Made a flightplan Leib (Ibiza) to LGAV (Athens) for FSX in map: C:\Users\name\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files and one for FMC Level D 767!Using 1107 navdata Level D 767: D:\Flight Simulator X\Level-D Simulations\navdata.Load flightplan in FSX and in FMC 767.Used Procedure Pronunciation Editor for sid and star and Flight Plan Extras. Depart at runway 06 sid MHN3F first waypoint MHN.That works fine with ATC! Last way point before landing is NEMES and I want to use star NEME1C for landing runway ILS03RY.But before reaching NEMES-ATC is directing me in a other direction!!!! How do I adjust the volume of the voices in VOX 6.05. The manual shows a slider for this under VOXATC settings but I don't have this. David West

Hello,When I set up an IFR flight originating at a nontowered airport, I am never given a sqawk. I seem to recall having to contact FSS on the air when departing a nontowered airport. With the last two builds, I have not been given the option to contact Cleveland radio. Even without contacting FSS, whoever I speak to should give me a squawk. Usually, as I depart the area, I am prompted to call Cleveland Center. Sometimes I will get a local apprach controller first. When I get near my destination, I am told to reset my transponer and given a code. I am curious about getting ATIS info before contacting my destination approach controller. I am not prompted to do that. …

I'm currently using WOAI in my FSX game, and I love how it works. I think once, I heard it refer to other AI Traffic by the callsign of "Delta" (for Delta Airlines) but I have not heard other names such as FedEx, UPS, American, United, etc. Do I need to adjust or change something? There's the "ATCAircraftTypeNameEditor" program, but I'm not sure if that's the right program to change it with. The Aircraft that are listed as Delta planes, don't show "delta" in the callsign. Are there instructions to explain exactly what that program does and what to use it for?

I have a couple of questions after a very enjoyable but busy flight from KFLL to KTPA. 1. Why am I never cleared to cross active runways during taxiing?2. What does request backtrack mean?3. I was second in line to take-off and ATC cleared me for take-off. I had to overtake the plane in front of me, why did that happen?4. On approach, ATC started acting like FSX ATC and instructing me to turn to 320, turn to 315, turn to 318, turn to 310...How can I avoid that happening? and can I just ignore the request and keep flying on the actual approach heading? I wish I'd discovered VoxATCX earlier, it's so immersive and adds so much to FSX.Toby

I've been an RC4/PFE user for years, and just recently started using VOX. I really like the interaction with ATC. I just flew a leg from Vancouver to Maui and it worked great. I still haven't figured out why it gives me my initial descent clearance below FL100. It rarely ever does step descents. I just ignore ATC until I hit TD. My only real gripe is the way it interacts with AI. I miss the regionalized voices that I got with PFE but I'm getting over that. All in all, a great program.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows any solution. When I'm cruising atc will for some reason vector me 90 degrees off course then guide me back on again as if for traffic management or something. However there is never any traffic on my TCAS or visually. This happens about every 10 minutes which gets really annoying and massively increases the flight time. If anyone has any solutions they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It seems my controllers are watching pre-season football or something because they don't have time to do anything. I just got done trying for 15 minutes to get IFR clearance and all I got was "Unable at this time." I've had similar issues previously with IFR flights. It seems whether asking for takeoff or landing about half the time the controllers would be unable to comply many times instantly followed with acceptance of my request. Has anyone else run into these issues or know if something got out of whack? Thank you!

Hi, I bought the VoxATC from the avsim store, and received it today on DVD.The box says "New Versioin!", but I do not see the same utilities in my install as is shown in the pdf on VoxAtc.com (for instance, I do not have a Flight Plan Extras utility.Furthermore, the screenshot on the shop site shows it as a "Deluxe Edition", the box I got does not have this text!So I have a few questions:Did I receive an old version?How do I see what version I in fact have?Anyone know how to contact the shop? I cannot find a contact link anywhere.Helge

I'm a relatively new user of VOX and I've really come to like it so far. Some of you folks have been around it much long so I'd like to ask this question. Is the VOX developer just one person or is it a group of people? It almost seems he's like "The Wizard of OZ", always unseen behind the curtain. I'm not implying that it's a bad thing but usually developers will make an appearance in forums from time to time. Again, not a big deal. I'm just curious.

Hi Guys.Bit ov a tricky one, i use the traffic that is generated by vox atc simply because it is realistic in the form of what you here from atc it refers to the actual aircraft. Now then, am i right in thinking the traffic is randomly generated?, from your traffic program (Whatever it may be). All i want to do is make the emirates a380 have its own shedule or plan (whatever you want to call it) from egcc to where ever, park and depart from stand 12 at manchester. is this possible?.this is AI not your own aircraft.Pete.

Hello:I have read through the thread on FSBuild and VoxATC; I normally use FSBuild and want to make sure something will work before I convert from trial to registered because I am disabled and every dime counts.I have to use some type of flight planner, because of the fact I do long haul trans-oceanic flights.
