I am not completely sure this is due to VoxATC but I believe it's the most likely culprit. Many times when VoxATC speaks the volume of FSX gets cut in half. Also, even when I don't hear anyone talk it'll just drop in half for a while and then a few minutes later go back up. I have FSX set up to send sound through the primary sound device, which is my speakers, and voice through my headsets. Ideally, I'd like no change in volume whatsoever when any voice is active. If anyone knows if this is a VoxATC setting somewhere or what other possible addon/FSX quirk could be causing this, I'd appreciate the help.

Like a number of others I have problems with ut2bridge. How can I uninstall it?David

Hi,What is the exact procedure to install voxatc with mytraffic x?I can't get it to work. When traffic in fsx is set to 100% mytraffic is working.I used the indexer, set traffic in fsx on 0%, but with voxatx I only get default traffic...

When using Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and throttle with Thrustmaster MFD's. I get thre dreaded fatal error message when I try to enable Vox ATC. Anyone else have this problem with this type hardware setup?

Hi,Have just bought a copy of Vox ATC, with UK enhancement and am having an issue.If I try and open the Flight plan editor it crashes straight away. I am running windows 7 64 bit - but the rest of the program works fine. It loads up in FSX, I can make calls, and all is well - it is only the flight plan editor that doesn't work. I have tried running the flight plan editor with XP compatibility and Vista compatibility, but still no joy.Can anyone help?ThanksBen

greetings,i downloaded the VoxAtc demo yesterday and installed the panel on all of my aircraft. However, when i go to fly in my aerosoft katana 4x, the panel is not there.i have checked my panel.cfg and it is there, i have checked in other aircraft and it is there.any ideas on why this is happening?thanks in advance,qantas_nerd

Sorry I should have put all this in one post. I'll leave the first question as is with the FO hanling comms in that post but I have a few others before upgrading.Notice I used the word "upgrade".From what I have read this program looks like the ultamit in ATC and a huge step up from RC4. What concernes me is the cost and the fact that it has to be so complex in the programming department that I worry seriously about compatability with all of my many add ons. I get a little concerned with some of the posts on this forum about not being able to get ahold of ATC, get a clearance, unables, swarm of bee's AI and a whole host of other issues that may very well be user error or …

Hi,Is it possible to let the FO handle comms and switch freq's for you or do you have to handle the freq switching for him. I use RC4 and love the fact that the FO can hand switching freq's on his own just like in real life.Thanks

I will probably try MCE first with RC4 and then my ultamit goal may be to then dump RC4 and use Vox with MCE. Correct me if I am wrong bu this would allow me to use the same computer voice as FO reading the checklist and the same voice talking to ATC for me, is this correct. Would there be any issues using the MCE FO to work Vox? From the MCE website it says it works with default ATC and RC4 but it seems that it can also work with Vox in the above said capacity.No?I am looking at a 2 step upgrade path here.

Hello fellow simmers!I am on the 3rd day of the free trial of version 6.5. I am pretty good at trouble shooting FSX problems, but let it be known... I am NO expert.Having said that, I was having some issues with voices cutting out (both ATC and AI) during a test flight. I was using some AT&T and some NeoSpeach voices. I went to the VoxATC site to see if there was an answer to the problem there... there wasn't of coarse... but I noticed the VoxPOP information and DLed those voices and installed them. By using those voices with the VoxPOP Server running, the next flght I attempted went perfectly.I will now give you a list of the hardware and software I use when running …

I enjoy flying the PMDG 747-400X and I am now attempting to do so with VoxATC. Normally, I create the flight plan in FSX with the FMC using actual IFR routes from FlightAware.com. It appears that I must also recreate that flight plan in FSX using the FSX Flight Planner if I am to use VoxATC. My question is: is there any way to load the *.rte file that is created in the PMDG FMC electronically without having to re-enter all of the waypoints again in FSX. I am sure there must be ways of doing this and am hoping to hear how others do this.Jack McAfee

Hi, ok i have now finally got voxatc installed and and running i have just had a quick go and all is well apart from the traffic,i can hear the ATC speaking to the traffic and the traffic speaking back i can also see the lights from the other traffic both on ground andin the air, howeva i cannot see the plane its invisable, the little red tag is still above the aircraftany idears ?windows 7 64bit Nvidia GTS450also not had an issue like this before thanks

Hi guys,I purchased the VoxATC 6 DVD from PC Aviator, and the site says that 4 AT&T voices are included....2 male and 2 female. They're nowhere to be found!Am I blind, or did they not come with the DVD as promised?Thanks for any insight.Lee

Hi All,Apologies if this request has been addressed previously, just registered so new to the forum.Just rcv'd version 6 VoxAtc from Bob at RCS, previously had version 3.xx.Installation "appeared" to go ok ( no error messages) but when I "enable" VoxATC, you guessed itFATAL ERROR disable etc.Of course its Saturday.. Bobs closed, VOXATC web site is down so before I uninstall & start againCan anyone shed some light on the possible causes.. I did not uninstall Version 3.xx, Should I have??.Any advice would be helpfull.Steve J

Well it is 7 days since i downloaded and tried VoxATC and never did get my AI traffic (FSX or UT2) problem solved. Spent a whole week (less a day) trying everything i could think of including 2 emails to The developer with no reply.Well now my time is up and VoxATC is disabled. I really was seriously interested in this program but the problems i had with it and the lack of support has me very doubtful as to whether i should continue my interest.I realize that it is holiday time, but that is when people like me get the time to try these things. Hi everyone,I have a full version of VoxATC 6, running on Windows 7 64-Bit (FSX SP2).My problems are:1.) At East Midlands, after getting ATIS information, etc, I contact ground and tell them of my VFR flight intentions (with a flight plan loaded). After receiving my taxi instructions, (I'm told to taxi to "Runway 27 via Q and A"), nothing happens, even after acknowledging them. Interestingly, I'm not given a holding point, so naturally I assumed that I should taxi to the start of Runway 27 and hold. Can anyone help with this problem. I've just installed VFR Airfields volume 3 (the North of England). I then ran the VOX indexer. I've got TrafficX installed for VOXATC to use, and all traffic don't make the threshold for landing on R32 at Leeds & Bradford (EGNM). As the airfield is elevated they undershoot and hit the high ground ( the bank) before the airfield boundary, still with forward momentum, then rear up almost vertically and crash down right at the start of the runway with no forward speed. Some then taxi up the runway, but others who don't make the start of the tarmac/concrete of the runway then say xxxxx vacated runway and then stay there.Also all aircraft…

I see that version 6 now shows on the main site. However, I still do not see it mentioned that v 6 requires re-purchase or its an n-charge update from 5.63.How do I get an answer to this question. Not like it's the first time I asked.

Hi,I am considering, but hesitant as it runs on the same CPU as FSX, and I am trying to get an idea of the CPU hit and whether or not it can be forced to use selectable CPU core(s).What are your experiences with the product as it pertains to performance? Hi,Most threads I have read about how VOXATC utilizes AI traffic, and what AI packages it can utilize, and any pitfalls that may be associated with any given 3rd party AI Traffic program, have not really been answered clearly. Many of the threads state something simple like "VOXATC can use UT2". What does that mean? Anyway I have a few questions belowVOXATC....1. injects it's own traffic. What does this mean? I run UT2, which is also injecting traffic. So do I have UT2 injecting traffic as well as VOXATC?
