No Available Departure Runway At Vancouver International Disable VoxATC message appears every time I attempt to load FSX at that departure location. I'm using Vancouver Plus and CYVR5+ addon scenery. The problem doesn't exist at any other aerodromes so far. I've been using Vancouver Plus for some years but the CYVR5+ is a relatively recent addition. I'm assuming there is a conflict there some place but where? I'm rather loathe to delete and re-install either VoxATC or CYVR5+ if there is a work-around.Seems to me there was a post on this subject some years ago but I can't find it now.Anyone know the answer to the problem.Thx.Sox.

Had a couple of gripes using v6 last night on a flight from Las Vegas to San Fran. Firstly - and i have noticed this on other flights since upgrading, is that the controller doesnt always talk to me, but suddenly i get some green text come up on screen that obvioulsy i have to reply to. It has caught me off guard a few times as i will often fly without the prompt on screen, and miss the instruction. I am now flying with the prompt on all the time so i dont miss anything. I have installed some extra voice sets, so to be fair the problem may lie with them, and not VOX.Much more annoying though, i was flting the BOACH3 HEC transition, using the autopilot with the route progr…

Has anyone used the new (version 6) Voxatc with a runway 13 approach for Kai Tak? I am using the FlyTampa Hong Kong scenery and I have used some utility to put the procedures for VHHX into the Leveld nav data folder. Vox atc recognizes VHHX and gives me the appropriate STAR, but then wants to vector me to Runway 31 even thought the wind should make 13 the active runway. When I access the Voxatc menu to select the full procedure for runway 13, the only option shown is for runway 31. I end up just turning off atc and then have no traffic at the airport.I seem to recall that this worked OK for the old version of Voxatc, so I am not sure what the problem is. I don't think it…

Hello,I just departed a Non-Towered Airport with an IFR plan (KVDF - 2IS). The first communication from VOXAtc was to request Airport Information. There was no request to change to FSS to open flight plan.After leaving the airport area, there was no SQUAWK Code given, even when ATC was providing altitudes and headings.Same after landing. After the "Clear of Runway" message, there was no action to talk to FSS to close the flight plan.

Running FSX with SP1 and 2 in Windows 7 64bit. Using the VOXATC thats compatible with Windows 7 64bit Un-installed the first installation of VOXATC and then reinstalled. Now when I use FSX, I get a permanent busy circle and the arrow curser inside it and both flicker when in the 2D cockpit. Once its started flockering it does it in VC cockpit as well. Also in 'Instrument Panel' there are two entries for voxatc. This is rendering voxatc unusable.Can anyone point me in the direction for a fix please?CheersDavid

I appreciate the new ability of Voxatc to assign stars from a data base, but I am finding it isn't such a good solution for some airports. ATC is vectoring me off the star for approach too early in some cases, often right into mountains. So for these airports (CYVR for example) I think I will have to go back to putting the specific star appropiate for the active runway, which I have check in advance with whatever weather I am using, into my flightplan and using the Voxatc star editor. I seem to recall that this way I can specify the waypoint at which vectoring will begin.Does anyone know if we still have to go the through the process of pre-loading some other flight and …

As per the title really, is the addition of SIDs/STARs automatic or do i still have to manually add them to the flight plan loaded in to FSX??Reason i ask is that i was doing a flight out of Bristol (EGGD), expecting runway 9 with SID EXMO1Z (programmed in to my FP), but by the time i got in to the game from flight planning i was taking off from rwy 27 but VOX automatically I believe assigned me the correct SID of EXMO1X. Is it really clever enough to do this or was i imagining it? Just downloaded the demo of version 6 for fsx.Did the training for the voice and created a flight with flight plan.When i get to the cockpit and bring up the voxatc window and click enable, it does the voice tests and then says voxatc v6 Then it popos up in the lillte window saying "fatal error! disable voxatc"This happens after a few seconds when it's initialized. I can't get it past this point.If that makes any difference, I am using PMDG 747x, ASE for weather, I have traffic in FSX disabled and set to 100% in voxatc setup, using Mytraffix X v5.3a and the traffic is showing up fine, just can't get voxatc to work.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Mark.

Hi .I just downloaded and installed a new voice from Nextup , com,but it does not appear in the list of available voices in the voice setup. It is now in use on the computer using Firefox for example,but Vox is not detecting it. Any thoughts? I am using 5.63Thanks.Dennis

Hi,I fly most of the time online, hence quite a bit of chatting and the required ATC. My joystick is configured to activate the MIC in several applications, like teamspeak 2 and 3, and all work fine; it did work well with VoxATC version 5.63 too.With the new version, it accepts all of the joystick assignments and it clearly shows when you activate any and all buttons. Once VoxATC is enabled, the assigned PTT button will not activate the MIC, although it will accept the keyboard assigned key.Can anyone shed some light over this issue. I had another problem yesterday, the controller was vectoring me for landing and all the sudden no more radio contact.I had a message like " Vectoring for I L S approach runway three six" in the VoxATC window and I was waiting for the controller to provide me with more instructions. Vectoring had already started. After a while and 25 miles from the airport, flying in the opposite direction, I understood that something was wrong. Hi Guys.Anyone using vox atc with uk2000 scenery Manchester (EGCC). The problem i,m having is when traffic (Just traffic generated by vox) is using 05L for departures, hold short ok, lines up, does a 360 degree turn backtracks to Alpha does onother 360 then lines up and departs. This only happens to the traffic generated by vox, fsx traffic be it addon or default work fine. Before you some smart arse saying "don,t use it then" bearing in mind the ATC interacts with the traffic generated by vox and not with the other traffic.

Hello,I'm currently reviewing VoxAtc and so far I believe that the software is a keeper.However I'm currently experiencing problems with the First Officer feature. VoxAtc freezes while asking the FO to perform actions by just pressing & releasing the PTT key (space). It keeps saying "First officer operating radio", but nothing happens at all.Everything seems to work just fine if I ask the FO to perform the task by talking to him.I'm using FSX under Windows 7. Any idea of what might be causing this ?.I also contacted the developer asking for help.Thanks in advance.

I've been trying the new version 6.04 of VoxATC, and I terminated my very first flight after continuous repetition of traffic warnings for the same AI aircraft, which was flying in the same direction as my own aircraft and was only slightly faster, so the separation between the two was increasing only very slowly. Having acknowledged the first warning, I found it very irritating to be bombarded with further warnings about the same aircraft, and I gave up after 12 repetitions in quick succession. Can this behaviour be changed, or is it a fixed feature of VoxATC?Thanks for any information,Dugald

How do I get assigned, or request a VOR / VORDME approach? I want to practice these approaches, but I keep getting assigned ILS approaches by ATC. If I press "0" to select my own approach, I only get a choice of either visual or ILS approaches.The particular airport I have been trying it on is Southampton (EGHI) as I know I have been assigned a VORDME approach there before. I have just upgraded to VOXATC 6, (although I'm not sure whether this is relevant as I have not tried to do this on version 5.63 which I used previously).If I open the stock airport data for EGHI on Airport Design Editor X it shows 2 different VORDME approaches in the list of approaches on the database…

OK... Now that 5.63 worked, I upgraded to 6.04. Yes... I already paid for it...Now ATC wont hear me... :( The Flight Plan Trainer works, I can use my mic with Teamspeak and VATSIM, but not the joystick button nor the keyboard button seem to work with VOXATC.I hear the click, but the text remains green... If I click a second time, without saying anything VOXATC will go to the next communication.I have run the mic setup several times with no effect.Again... Please help

FSX with VOXATC 5.63When I try to start FSX with a flightplan, it CTDs. This morning, I loaded a FlightPlan with the Flight1 Islander, and I was ready to go, meaning, the flight plan loaded and I was inside the cockpit of the plane. Then I realized the plane did not have VOXATC configured for it.I went and did the Re-index and the Panel setup. Now when I load the flight plan, I get CTD. This has happened before, and the only solution I have found is to re-create the FSX.CFG file, which, then I have to tweak again for my liking. This gets old very fast.Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello All,Currently I'm running MCE with RC4 and have been enjoying how the two are able to tie together, but I recently dl'd Vox6 and it appears to be alot more fluid than MCE/RC4 when it comes to recognizing my commands. I'm wondering if anybody who has tried both setups, can tell me that I won't be wasting my money getting another ATC program. I have yet to try the VFR portion to see if it's worth the penny, but the IFR seems sweet and the SID/STAR addition is cool. Just wondering what others think.

Hey, I flew from YBBN to YSCH via the Larivale 8 departure rwy 01 at YBBN then Direct YSCH (coffs harbour). I was cleared the GPS 03 App via Vectors and was told to descend to 3100'...which I did and I slammed into a mountain will in IMC. I want to buy this procduct but i like to fly in and out of areas of high terrain. Is there anyway to prevent this? Another question, how do I know what FSS to call and what freq when I wanna open/close a flight plan? While enroute there really is no "meanu" per say, but what if I want to deviate from clearence for WX or climb high or descend for turbulence. What if I need to change my destination due to WX, or Fuel.....is there anyway …

HiCan someone please clarify this for meI have FSX delux running in Win7 64bit flawlessly with Ultimate traffic 2 and many Addons such as LDS767, PMDG747, MD11 etc...I hear people saying they are having problems with Traffic X and My Traffic etc with VOXATC.Does VOXATC use UT2 AI traffic or does it come with its own AI traffic. Do you disable UT2 traffic or FSX Traffic?I like to know before purchase.ThanksBill

The features of VoxATC 6 sound interesting, but before I install the demo, I'd like to know if there are any users of Multi Crew Experience who also use VoxATC?
