Let me take you back in time to the original version of Voxatc on FS9. After a while away from flight sim (young kids) I have just reloaded this software. I know there is no support for this version any more but maybe someone can help. How do you get the ground control to recognise the gate you are at, when they give taxi clearance the gate mentioned is definitely not the gate I am parked at ??Any help other than upgrade as I am an FS9 fan not going into FSX.cheersSteve

I have installed Voxatc succesfully but when I press enable in the panel it comes up " Unable to initialise voice recognition Ensure you have a US-English compatible recognition selected...see Help.Have checked Help but cannot find the windows menupanel they suggest . Can anyone please sort me out.Dying to get going as it looks a great program. TIA Nev

Hi.I decided to find out the function of the VFR Flight Plan Editor. When I selected the option, a window appeared saying [preparing to install], then another window asking for permission (UAC). I selected [allow] followed by a request to insert the installation disk, which I did (original - UK version). Then it reads the disc to 100% and proceeds to install, but it only gets to 98%. The progress green bar goes backwads and a window reports a [fatal error].Any light on this issue. Thank you.

Okay, so documents support that VoxATC and MyTraffic X work together, but I haven't found anything on how they interact!I am using both in Windows 7 64 bit, and both work together. VoxATC was installed first, then MyTraffic X. Ran Vox indexer.They work, VoxATC is controlling MyTraffic according to the VoxATC slider, but what I want to know is...How much control does VoxATC have? Does changing Mytraffic settings do anything? It is to my understanding VoxATC just uses the planes from MyTraffic's install and does everything on its own.I guess I would just like to know what is the combination of the two capable of?My Goal in FSX is to get my Aerosoft UScities Chicago KORD (wi…

Have just upgraded to Windows 7and am using FSX. Have emailed VOXATC asking which updated version I should installl.....been over a week and still no reply. Does any one know..ie can I use the ATT voices ith Win 7 and should I download the version with or without voice recognition???

I just purchased VoxATC after the demo expired. I just couldn't go back to the default. I love the immersion it adds. However, the one thing that drags it down in my opinion is the ATC voices (ATT Natural Voice) are crystal clear digital signals that don't sound like they are coming over a radio. Does anyone know of a way of filtering or altering voices to add analog radio distortion that would be much more realistic in my opinion?? Thanks in advance.

As of late I've experienced a problem where VOXATC tells me that an IFR flight plan that I have created is VFR. Here's what I do: 01. Create an IFR flight plan with FSBuild or Simroutes , with a SID/STAR. 02. Start FSX. 03. Load flight plan into FSX flight planner. 04. Press Fly now. 05. Once the flight has loaded I go to the file menu and click 'save' to name and save the flight. 06. Exit FSX. 07. Load the flight into VoxATC SID/STAR to make adjustments.At this time I receive an error stating that the flight plan is not IFR. I've opened the flightplan with notepad and verified that it is indeed an IFR flight.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks... Bud

Hi,I'm currently using VoxATC UK edition for VFR flights. Something that puzzles me is that, when approaching my destination and requesting joining instructions, I'm inevitably told to 'join overhead'. The only exception to this is if I manage to get lined up in a similar way to a glideslope approach, in which case I may be told to fly straight in.Whilst I understand the procedure for overhead joins, my local airport EGHH (Bournemouth) will normally instruct 'join left downwind', 'join left base' or similar - in other words joining the circuit rather than flying over the airfield first.I suppose my questions are:1. I currently own Voxatc for fsx.I'm trying to setup a vfr flightplan. I use Vroute and create my flight plan, Save it as fsx flight plan. Then I load up fsx and load my flight plan, But vox atc keeps saying No flight plan loaded.Can someone please help me with this..Thanks in advance.Charles Hamlin!

HiI am using VOX ATC 5.63 and REX2. Everything worked fine until today and for some reason I don't have any AI traffic at all!!!! None on the airport. None in the air. None on the radio. I have reran the indexer and did a complete reinstall. NOTHING!!!! Please helpI forgot to mention I am using Win 7 64bit and installed setup .exe not VASetup.msi.

thanks for the suuggestion it worked however using a combination of airports in the flight plans it seems whenever schipol a paid addon was the dep. or des. airport VOX would not load unfortunatley this was my first choice in my original flight plan, we have a name for that its called sods law extreeme frankfurt works very well regards

HiI have just upgraded to Windows 7 for FSX SP2 and loaded VotATC.When I talk, the writning correctly changes to blue, but I cannot here the ATC, rather I get static sound only. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, were they able to resolve it.I can here all other traffic, just nothing related to my calls.Finally which version should I download Download VoxATC X With Voice Recognition (not Vista) or Download VoxATC X for Vista (without voice recognition) or does it not make a difference on Window s7 64 botAny help appreciated.TanksAnthony

When loading a flight plan in the aircraftcompiled with FSC8 and confined to flying in europeA notice appeares stating a major fault has occured abort vox. this does not occur with a flight plan for america. I have AES,FS2CREW and ultimat traffic 2 Iam using the UK enhancement programVFR flying is no problem IFR seems to be the problem I have re installed the UK program run index the 6 voices installed which include some from cockpit chatter work perfectly. it must be the IFR flight plan causing the problem but why your help pleaseos widows 7 64bit FSX SP1 SP2

Another problem here..When I press and hold the PTT button (both joystick and keyboard), keep depressed while speaking, and then release, VoxATC does not hear me.But then if I quickly depress and release the button, my speech is recognized. It seems as if the PTT is being treated as a toggle rather than a continuous command.Again, it seems like I did not have this problem with the demo version, but that was a while ago so maybe I just have something configured incorrectly, or perhaps I am doing something wrong. This is using FSX.Can anyone help me?

I purchased VoXATC for FSX and I have two big problems. one is the taxi guidance system does not work at all. I have ran the indexer multiple times I use addons and I am not sure if these are known to cause problems or not I use trafficX, UTX, GEX, FS GENESIS, Zinertek airport textures. A2A 3d redux lighting. no matter what I do the taxi guidance system will not work if I hit 0 and choose the option for "show/hide taxi" it simply hangs up with "please wait"next problem and its a major one is that although it recognizes my SID and tells me to fly it no matter what stage of flight I am in it will not hand me off to other controllers for example last night I was on my w…

I tried to close it by asking Minneapolis Ground to close my flightplan at 14:30 Zulu, like it is mentioned in the PDF....you know "Minneapolis Ground, Continental 1125 request you close my flightplan fram Kansas City International at 14:30zulu"All I got was "unable at this time"...but why? My request was correct wasn't it? I was parked also so...???

Hi everyone, I had a question about voxatc. Can it be used to open the different gauge panels in the FSX VC? If not can somebody recommend a good program for doing this?

I always use a SID/STAR setup if the departure/arrival airport allows, but I am interested in how many VoxATC users actually do this?

Hi, I'm getting a unknown aircraft type error when starting VOXATC after running the indexer several times. The aircraft in question is the A2A B-17G Accusimed version. The funny thing is that it list the specific repaint in the error, Rhapsody in Red. Does anyone know what could be causing this and if there is a fix? I have tried VOXATC in several of the other A2A planes that I own and it works great it is only in this particular paint that the problem occurs.

Hi,Been using VOXATC for a while now and am very happy with it. Just noticed while in tower view before a flight that none of the AI planes were connected to the FSX jetways and the baggage truck didn't connect to them prior to pushback. I've never really noticed if this is usual or not (I tend to fly to and from smaller airports).Do the FSX jetways and vehicles work with VOXATC generated AI? If so what do I need to do to get mine to work? (currently using Alpha India flight plans with UT2 aircraft)thanksJon
