I cant seem to figure this out.. i was pretty sure I had this issue before, but its cropped up again. I've assigned the buttons to my yoke for things like the push to talk (normally spacebar) and ident and toggling the prompt etc.. they show up in the "Joystick Configuration" area (though i did notice the button numbers here dont match calibration/numbers in fsx). I know PTT is working because each time i hit spacebar you hear the squawk. I've checked the controller settings to make sure the same button is not bound to any other assignment. I've closed every other application that is running just to make sure nothing is stealing the commands. So i'm lost, no…

I recently upgraded to v. 1.16. Everything seemed to be working well, but during my last several flights the program would not issue a landing clearance. The program issues all the necessary approach vectors and instructs the first officer (operating radios) to contact the arrival airport tower. The tower is contacted indicating that the aircraft is on approach for the assigned runway. The tower responds to this communication, but no landing clearance (or any other communication) is issued after this point. I ran the indexer a couple of times but with no effect. Anyone know how do you uninstall the Voxatc panel from an a/c? Once the panel is installed, there is no option to uninstall it.

Does anyone know if you can assign a headset with a microphone to assign to talk in joystick setup, just like a real pilot. I would presume that you would need an aviators headset so any recommendation would be most helpful. Thanks John

I am only getting the Voxatc panel to appear in the 2D panel of FSX. Anyone know how to get it to appear in the 3D and outside views? Also, it takes a very long time to initialize, is this the way it should be? Many thanks.

Hi, I am new to VOXATC but have got it working and have done a few flights. However I wanted to make up a few flight plans to some Altiports (airports up mountains with highly sloped runways) such as Courchevel and Meribel. FSX flight planner recognises the airports but VoxATC doesn't (yes I have run the indexer!) Can anyone give me any pointers on how to get VoxATC working with altiports? Cheers Rob.

I have just re-installed FSX from scratch, SP1 and SP2. Win7 64 Home. VoxATC worked fine before but now loading the VoxATC window and clicking enable gives a Fatal Error, disable VoxATC message in the window. Any ideas what is causing it. Had it working well before the re-install. It didn't allow me to input the license code this time as it stated already registered. Where is the license saved so I can delete it and try to re register. Thanks. Dave.

Firdtly, high end win 7 system mostly trouble free here but cannot get a new install of vox to work even after several re installs and cc clean. Im getting Fatal error message wont recognize nav d file location at all other buggy stuff dont know here to go from here, any ideas any one?

I recently did a pc restore & now my vox atc fails to enable stating that the voice recognition is set wrong & to see the help file , the voice settings are correct , English Mary us , I have tried running a ms download for voice recognition., it didn't help . The voice recognition in win 7 works fine , it hears my commands & acts on them , the vox POP voices work . I contacted vox atc people for help & got very fast responses which I was pleased about , but he feels registry cleaner has damaged the interface & the only solution is s complete new install , With my work & family commitments will take around 2 months to do , so if I can find…

Hi there, I owned a german Win7 64bit home premium OS. Today I tried to switch the voice recognition to english for using it with VoxATC. Now I've got the information one will get language packs (MUIs) only for the ultimate versions. So is there no chance for me to switch to english voice recognition? This means I'm f**ked up with VoxATC? Can't imagine VoxATC runs smooth with german voice rec. Thanks in advance for any good advice! :wacko:

Just curious if anyone else is having problems with 6.16 with getting assigned a gate after landing. Vox is assigning me a parking area and not a gate. Before the upgrade - this was never a problem. Anyone ?

Hi, i use VoxATC 6.05 and UT2. UT2 Traffic and FSX Traffic on 0% Start FSX (no Traffic) enable VoxATC Traffic come´s but only the same Aircrafts (small Props) at any Gate. I used the UT2bridge to get the UT2 Traffic in the Vox ATC. Sorry for my english ! ;-) Thanks george

Hello all I will spare you the issues of Vox atc But after reinstall, i get a black box instead of the usual vox box . any ideas how to resolve this? my issues started with the last update. since then vox stopped working. my system W7 64 bits, Nvidia 580 . i would appreciate any advise, thanks nhssaini USA

Hi folks, The other day I reinstalled VoxATC 6.16 after a long break, and took out the RealAir Lancair Legacy for a VFR spin. For some reason the controllers referred to my aicraft as a Beechcraft. Is this normal? If not what can I do to fix it? Cheers.

Hello, I've been using VOXATC for some time now, but always with the default FSX traffic (i.e. the generic airline names). I was hoping that someone could recommend a traffic add-on (e.g. MyTrafficX) that would work with VOXATC to 1. Provide realistic and more varied airline liveries and callsigns (as opposed to the default FSX names). 2. A frame rate improvement (currently the frame rate hit from VOXATC is considerable). I understand that some of these other traffic add-ons optimise the 3D models of their AI traffic to improve performance. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

When I request flight following I get: 1. roger 2. altimeter settings 3. unable at this time. Then I start getting traffic call outs, what gives. Thanks, Ray

I just intalled the new version after doing a complete FSX reinstall. For some reason, when I enable VOX, I get a FATAL ERROR message but I'm not sure why. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am using Ideal Flight to create the flight. I loaded the IdealFlight.PLN file into the Sid Star Wizard and set up Lam4M as a SID and also a star at my destinattion. Now, whenever I create a flight, VoxATC always asks me to fly that SID regardless of what airport I am starting from. I have tried deleting the Ideal Flight.pln file and creating a brand new one but it always remembers that SID. Is there a manual config file anywhere to remove the entry?

Frustrating!! to say the least. I am sitting in my PMDG 737-800 at Edinburgh EGPH and ask for clearance to Heathrow EGLL and all I get is: ''UKV2441roger'' Time and time again. Anybody else has that problem??

Hi :rolleyes: , I didn't find any answer on my question onto the forum (maybe my search wasn't complete). Do you know if VoxATC involve the speech recognition training? Playing with VoxATC on FSX conduct our Windows to take advantage of this session to train the recognition engine OR do we absolutely have to use the official windows training program? I'm currently evaluating the product using the demo version to see if I want to take the plunge and purchase it.
