MyTraffic X or UT2? Which is the easiest to set up with VoxATCX?

I hope this get fixed by the developer, when doing circuits there is no seperation from ifr flights inbound so atc turns you onto final when there is other traffic on final, will we ever see an actual atc sim that fully works wayne

when flying the PMDG 737 NGX I get an sdk error when stating FS2CREW WHEN VOXATC IS RUNNING. SEQUENCE 1: Make flight plan with efb 2: Start fsx 3: Load pmdg 737 ngx, set airport kbos, time, flynow 4: After flight loads and pmdg initializes I load flight plan 5: I goto file and save flight then file and load flight 6: When flight loads voxatc window is already their so I start fs2crew thats when I get sdk error Everything works fine before I save and then reload flight but I only get the local flight,taxi for pattern and radio check menu. I never had this problem until I installed voxatc

At some airports there are completely different SIDs for opposite runways. So if i set a westerly SID in the flightplan and VoxATC assigns a easterly runway, it does not give me a SID. Is this a bug?

Hello to all I'b been doing some flight since I brought ASNext and I kept having these problem. I had it before ASNext and i'm having it now. The thing is sometimes VOXATC assigns me that STAR for the wrong runway even if the AI is taking off and landing from the correct one. Anyone experience this? Thanks

Hello- I thought I'd download the free 7-day demo and give it a try. I'm sort of dead in the water, because I can barely hear the controller's voices, even though I've gone into the FSX sound settings and made all sounds as soft as possible, and ATC as loud as possible. Maybe the VoxATC sound settings are somewhere else, but I don't see them anywhere. I don't have this issue with the default ATC. Also, the instrument panel is barely legible. I can make it bigger, and it looks better, but not that much better. This is my first exposure to an add-on ATC, and I'm thinking about going with ProATC instead. Any advice of course is appreciated. -Scott

Hi everyone i would like to know how many flight plans can you load in VOXATC . For example let say in FS Captain i have to do several flights an would like to load all the flight i have to complete for Fs captain , how would i load those flight plans into VOXATC ?

If you are arriving at an airport with no flightplan lodged, ie just flying around, how does Voxatc allow you to contact an airport of your choice or do you need to lodge a flight plan for it to work properly? Many thanks John

I need badly this great VoxATC software, but my problem is that I have the German FSX version with TONS of Add-Ons, and I'm horrified of the idea of having to install everything all over again, and I need the English FSX version badly, that can be purchased cheaply now for $25. So my big question: is there any way without uninstalling the FSX German version, to install or maybe exchange the German files to English?

Hi, this might be a somewhat unorthodox question, but what the heck... I'm currently trying out the demo of VoxATC; not to make things too easy, that software requires Navigraph data for SID&STAR charts for proper IFR flying. Now I don't want to buy some data set for a plane I'm not interested in (more a GA guy) for a demo where I've got 6 days worth of trial time left; plus I have a real-world IFR AIP lying around valid for October 2012. So my question: does anyone know whether it's possible to get old ("historic") Navigraph LevelD 767 FMS data free of charge? As mentioned, 10-2012 would be perfect... Thanks, Daniel

Hi all! I'm using VoxATC version 5,61. I have a problem with that both controller and answering pilots are using the same voice, Mike. In the setup I can choose female pilot Mary and under controller also Crystal, but they all speak with Mike's voice. Anyone had the same problem or any ideas?

While approaching my destination airport, I like to listen to the ATIS of my destination airport to get an idea of what runway I may get assigned. Before I got VOXAtc, I would tune it in on COM2 and I could listen to both freqs at the same time. Is there a way in VOX to do this? I tried the above but didn't work. Thanks as always!!!

I have recently installed VOX ATC and although I can hear the controller I cannot hear co pilot radio messages or other pilots. Has anybody else come across this problem?

It was initially reported on the P3DV2 forum that VOXATC did not work, the symptom being the main display not showing. I had the same problem originally, but have now got it to work. I don't know whether it's my finger trouble, or a problem with the installer, but VAGauge and VAInfo gauges were missing from my Prepar3D gauges folder. Once I had done a manual copy from FSX, all seems to work.

Hi I'm currently using version 6.20 and have loaded the voices that came on the DVD. Unfortunately some of the pronunciation is bit of a spoiler for an otherwise great program, for instance glid-er-path for glidepath, run-u-way and wind (as in wind up a clock). If I purchase some of the more professional voices available like Ivona and Cepstral does this improve the pronunciation within VoxATC ? Thanks, Glen

Should I expect VOXATC to assign me to the correct gate on arrival? I have an AFCAD with the appropriate parking code assigned to some gates, and the atc_parking_codes= in my plane has a corresponding code, yet VOXATC often assigns me to a random gate rather than the one for my plane.

Hi all, I've read several posts in the forums which claim that it is possible to allocate an atc_parking_code to a specific gate in both the AFCAD and the aircraft.cfg which is then recognized by VoxATC with the result that after landing you get directions to park at the gate to which you assigned the parking code. However, this doesn't seem to work for me. I fly the PMDG-747-800-i and I've set the atc_parking_code = PMDG in both the aforementioned files and correctly loaded the modified airport in the add-on-scenery of FSX. Hi, Is there any way to stop the AI traffic doing annoying Go Arounds... Twice yesterday I was asked to hold as traffic on final only to hear that traffic say they were going around for absolutely no reason...Nothing came in before them.. Just takes the edge of an excellent program. Dave

As a complete beginner to ATC, I found the manual for VoxATC to be a bit confusing.I have edited the communication part and rearranged it to fit to the different stages of flight.Speech is in italics, the parts you speak are underlined.Attached below this post. Hope it helps those of you new to ATC communication, like me. Toby

Just been flying the 777 enroute at 31000 ft. The co pilot was handling radios and all was well. Then mid way the ATC started giving headings, so I turned the plane away from my destination on the heading requested. ATC then kept changing my heading until I was doing cirlces. In the end I disabled VOX and restarted it to which it let my fly my plan. Is this normal or is it something I have done wrong???

I cannot install voxatc to try the demo. It says that FSX SP2 is required even though I have SP2 - sort of... I have SP2 installed, but I had to do it via "msiexec /a" and some file copying. SP2 refused to install normally - but it works. I have other add-ons, like the ifly-737 that require SP2 and they work. Everything from SP2 is there, including simconnect. Is there something simple that the voxatc install checks for in order to detect SP2? Is there a registry entry that I can add or a file I can edit to get past the SP2 check? I am running windows-7 enterprise 64-bit. thanks, Mike

Has anyone else had a AT&T voice crash? Does anyone know how to fix a supplied TSS voice from crashing VOXATC? Ive used VOXATC for a few years now with no problems but after installing a SSD and a new install of everything the voice Mike crashes everytime I try and use it. Everything else is ok and all the other voices are fine. Ive tried several re-installs of VOXATC and AT&T with no effect ... its not a game stopper I can do without 1 voice its just anoying Mike doesnt work. I'm sure a new install of everything would sort it but as it would take me nearly 2-3 weeks to get it back to where it is now and I dont want to do that for 1 voice. Any ideas???…

Hi Has anyone else noticed how the AI aircraft will be given take off clearance, taxi to the normal take off position then suddenly turn 180 degs, taxi to the very end of the runway then turn around again before starting their take off roll, by this time normally timing out and disappearing. This happens to me every time I take off from London Gatwick either 08R or 26L - I'm using UK2000 Xtreme for Gatwick scenery. I have brought this to the attention of Tegwyn (the developer) but don't know if its just me or a common problem. Glen Using version 6.20

Does anyone know if the new update allows more than one runway for takeoff/landings? Despite FSX ATC using them in the airports that have been coded in the AFCAD, last time I used Vox Atc it sent all the AI and myself to one runway causing a huge traffic problem every time.

Hi I hope this is in the right place. I have Vox Atc X my dvd contains Vox ATC X. Vox ATC UK. Vox 16 Bit UK Voices and Vox16 Bit US Voices all legal This worked fine on my Win XP but now I have tried to run on Win 7 Home edition I get this warning Cannot Initialise voice recognition Ensure you have a US English compatible recogniser selected Can some one please help I can get the upgrade to V6 @ another £45.00 But I think I have already paid enough Cheers :(
