Anyone here manage to remove the menu selection, the one with the 0,1,2,3 selection, yet able to complete the whole ATC process by just tunning to the correct radio freq?

This is my first post as I have just signed up on Avsim cause I've tried looking everywhere for these 2 solutions. 1. SID/STARS : I am not issued any, although my AI traffic is issued. I have the navdata for levelD but not the aircraft, I read the manual and it really is vague on how to set this up. I have set the path for LevelD, when I go to SID/STAR wizard and select Flight plan I only get FS2004 flight plans dropdown(I'm using fsx so none of my flight plans shows, I tried to save it as .FLT still nothing. I use FSbuild 2.4 also which is also a pain in the butt to set with the ifly737. If someone could just show me how to set SID/STARS I'd very much appreciate it. …

Tonight I was flying from KTRI to KOSU. Nearing KOSU I was cleared for the NDB 27 approach. AIrnav.com shows no approach chart for a NDB 27 approach. What gives? Alan

Hi all, I tried Voxatc for the first time doing a LEAS LEXJ flight. It gave me vectors for the approach and flight levels so I followed instructions but then, I crashed the aircraft against a mountain. is this normal? Thank you Pelayo - LEMD

Hi to all once again, After a few flights with VOX ATC I have made the experience that although I am usually cleared for a STAR and runway matching current weather situations, VOX ATC continues vectoring me to the runway on headings which are not compatible with the STAR it has actually cleared me for. In the VoxATC-settings I found the option "No vectors to approach" which might be a solution to this problem. Does anybody know whether with this option ticked, VoxATC will still assign me a STAR and let me fly it as published (which is what I desire) or will this option prevent VoxATC from assigning me a STAR at all (which I wouldn't like). Hi, I have had VOXATC working well for over 18 months now however after I installed the new version 6.2 whenever I try to use VoxPOP or voice configuration it comes up with an error message that says Voiceconfig has stopped working or voxpopserver has stopped working. This only occurred after the new install. I use Win 7 64bit completely upto date with 16gb ram. Because of this issue I cannot install and configure other voices. VoxATC still works within FSX. I am using DX10 preview mode if that is any help but have only just completed that change (within 7 days). VOXatc was ok after I changed over to DX10. I did create an new FSX.cfg but installed the new VoxA…

I am giving VoxATC a try on the 7 day trial period and having an issue with it already. I am able to get VoxATC to work in other aircraft; however, it will only work with the base pax model of the PMDG MD11. I am not able to get it to work with say the China Cargo livery downloaded from the PMDG website. I sent a message to tech support and this appears to be the only forum for support for the product. Has anyone experienced this issue and/or can offer a suggestion for fixing it? Thank you in advance, Ed

It keeps doing it whenever i do! I sent them email with error log and they said that maybe it was a flight planner matter! Of course it wasn't this. I ran indexer I installed VoxAtc voice packs NOTHING! It keeps shows FATAL ERROR! I think i wasted 50 euros for nothing :(

Hi all, I use VoxATC 6.20 and iFly737 and generally have no problems. But a couple of things are really bugging me, perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Firstly if I have the config set for a gate arrival the jetty isn't automatically put on to the aircraft after engine shutdown. This always used to happen before I upgraded to version 6.20. Is this a known bug? Secondly if I've selected a flight that I've checked the 'no vectors for arrival' box, I get a clearance for an approach but never get handed over to the tower and therefore can't get landing learance. Hi all, I've tried voxatc 6.05 for a bit, but it was full of bugs during vfr flights. I've updated it to v. 6.20 (latest). Now it's all ok during vfr flight (planned), but if I decide to land to another place, there are no possibilities to do that (controller says unable at this time). I've tried mentioned solution (another post), but if I reload flight with a new plan, re-enabling atc panel restarts all sequence (taxi to the departure ap). With this situation, I can't land yet as the controller says unable at this time again. It seems that's impossible to land anywhere if the panel indicates another flight phase. I'm very frustated. HELP PLZ!!!!

I'm mostly flying the Barron from GA airports but VOXATC is sometimes making me "request startup" as if I'm flying an airliner out of an international airport. The default FSX ATC doesn't do this, and, in that respect at least, is more realistic. My demo period is over and I didn't tinker with it enough to figure out if there is a way to skip over the "request startup" step when it's more realistic to just listen to ATIS, start my engines, and then contact ground control (or clearance delivery) for my clearance. Trying to decide if I want to buy this software.

I am thinking of getting VOXATC, I know that it supports Navigraph Airac updates but could one of you kind gents or ladies please advise if it also supports Nav Data Pro. I have searched the forms and am unable to find any info on this. Kind Regards Paul

Hi When I run the VOXATC indexer the Quality Wings Avro RJ does not appear. Apparently I have to add something to their panel files to ensure that the plane shows up when I run the indexer. Does anyone know what and how I have to edit the files or even better have a copy of the amended files that they could forward to me. Thanks Nixon

Hello folk, I am using VoxAtc with PMDG 737NGX. I have the same navdata cycle for both programs. I am wondering which is the correct way to handle in the FMC the star and relative rwy when you program your FMC. Lets explain what I mean: For the flight planning I use FSC with routefinder, so I have the sid and star points included in my plan. I can easy guess the runway for departure from the ATIS of voxatc and relative sid from my initial waypoint, but I cannot know what will be my approcching rwy I only know my star. So when I program my fmc I put my star and one casual rwy relative of my star. Often happen that the voxatc fill me in a different rwy for the appr…

It seems from reading the posts that most people don't have a problem combining the PMDG 737 with Vox. Unfortunately I do and I was just wondering whether anyone can shed light on this. I start off ok but pretty soon find my FPS down to around 10-14, whereas as without Vox it is around 30. I have error messages telling me to reduce traffic and I do but the result is the same. I read that someone found the lights showing the route to the runway can be a problem. Does anyone else have this problem, and can you tell me what you did about it? Thanks NeilG

First off, my intention is not to repeat a question that has been previously answered, but I am so confused at this point that I don't know what to do to be cleared for a STAR. I'm sorry if I have repeated a question. I'm using Aivlasoft EFB and the online RouteFinder service to generate and plan my flight plans. I do understand that your flight plan must have the common end point of a SID and entry point for a STAR to be cleared via a SID or STAR. I've been testing the SID and STAR procedure with a short flight from KBHM to KSDF. VOXATC always assigns be the BHM5 departure from KBHM without conflict. The problem comes with the STAR into KSDF. I have seen a few posts arguing about gate assignments and weather or not to add lines to the aircraft.cfg file or not etc. What I have not seen are clear instructions on how to actually get it to work. I have seen things like... "make sure these two lines are properly filled out in your aircraft.cfg file..." which firstly leave me wondering things like, what section do they go in, because they are not there to fill out. My problem may be compounded by the face that I fly general aviation almost exclusively but I still need to be able to be routed to a ga gate or ramp or a fuel box rather than just being sent to the farthest possible corner of the parking area. …

I had a fatal error occur with vox right as I was on my final approach in fsx. I was flying into fsdt klas. How can I fix this. Posts about fs9 talk about deleting duplicate afcads, but I am not sure this applicable in fsx and if so I can not even find the afcads to delete.

Hello, I read in the manual that it is nessasary to save the flight in .flt format before start VOX. But I go this way and it works: 1. Start AS2012 and load the flightplan. 2. Start FSX. 3. Load the plan (eg. PMDG NGX). 4. Set the location (airport, gate) 5. Load the flight (.pln format). 6. Start the flight. 7. Start fs2crew. 8. Start VOX Atc. After that it starts VOX with an IFR flight. So my question is: Why I should save a flight in .flt format? I'm having a lot of difficulty setting up my flight plans. I never receive sids/star options from vox. On takeoff I am told to fly direct to the first waypoint. If I can just fly direct to the first waypoint then what is the purpose of using a sid? I make a FP with FSC and then cut and paste it into EFB. Do I need to purchase navdata in order for vox to use sids/stars? I tried a flight from KLAX to KLAS today and I didn't get told the runway assignment until I was almost on top of it, which resulted in a missed approach. Are most people planning their runway landing before takeoff, or waiting until vox assigns a runway? I'm flying the 737 ngx and using rex for weather.

Hi, I have created a short IFR flight plan from EGGW Luton to EGKK Gatwick @ 12000ft (EGGW CPT VAPID MID EGKK) with FSC and saved it to FSX. Loaded FSX opened the plan and then saved it in FSX then opened VOXATC but I still get a local flight and no option for copilot although ticked. Am I missing something simple in my haste to get airborne? I've followed the guides here also. Flying RealAir Duke Help... please Mike

I had vox working earlier. I have headphones and got a usb sound card so that the atc goes into my headphones. Now upon restarting vox i cant hear any voices at all! The vox menu comes up and if i transmit I see it moves on to the next message but I am not hearing any voices. I do hear the sounds of the plane on my external speakers. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Vox has been a real pain to try to setup so far.

I just started the vox trial. I can hear the voice microsoft anna. However, I have added two voxpop voices which show in the vox config window. I am able to select those voices, but when I click the speak button I do not hear the sample of the voice the way I do with Anna. Also when I launch fsx I can only hear anna has my flight officer but I can not hear any of the other voices. I am running fsx on win 7. I also have the voxpop server control up and running.
