Is there any way to disable some runways that are not used for takeoff or landing?

Featured Replies

In many airports, some runways are only used for takeoff or landing, not both. For example, LEMD, never comes takeoff from the tracks 18L or 18R (I guess they fly over densely populated areas, or nearby mountains), 14L or 14R are used, or wind depends, from the 36L or 36R.

Can VoxATC disable runways for takeoff or landing?

Regards

VoxATC doesn't decide what RW are in use, those are set in the Airport's AFCAD file in question.

all Vox does, is read the AFCAD file and Wind direction and gives you the RW to be used based on the available

RW that are set in the AFCAD for takeoff.

if you wish disabling takeoffs/landing on specific runways, you will need to edit the airport's AFCAD file in question.

this is easily done with a very good free utility under the name of ADEx, otherwise knows as "Airport Design Editor FSX Edition"

the latest version available as of now is v01.50.4402.24937

http://www.airportde....uk/ade_003.htm

once you edit the AFCAD file, don't forget to run the VoxATC Indexer again to register the changes you made to the airport's Runways.

Good luck..
