Last night I purchased, downloaded and saved the ASV upgrade. Today when I tried to open the file I got a WinZip error stating that it did not appear to be a valid archive. When I went back to my account to redownload the file, the server kept refusing the connection. How do I proceed from here?

Well....I finally got through the servers and was anxiously ready to purchase when I got the following message from the PayPal system:"The credit card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit card number."This is obviously a PayPal screw-up since I have purchased NUMEROUS payware apps and every other online purchase ever with this card! The balance is way more than adequate!I've had problems with PayPal before, and find they just generally stink compared to most other online commerce systems.Is there any other way to purchase? If not, I guess myself and others in my situation are just outta luck.....I know this isn't a fault of HiFi....…

On both programmes downloads showing as "in progress" but after 10 minutes nothing has happened on either. Is this because the weather server is also the same as the purchase server which is under pressure or has my install somehow corrupted both programmes?Thanks for any help

I selected Pay Pal at the first screen (the one that says it will only last 5 sec), then it took me to a page where I could use the credit card.First flight KTPA rain etc with tops at about 11,000 set time to dawn.Beautiful!

Hello,I'm planning for my second flight with ASV, uptill now really satisfied! However, I did find an error:FS Flightplanner: departing from OING to OIMC (IFR high altitude), gives me 390 nM. When I let ASV process this it reads 7931 nM. Somewhere there is an error in the coordinates of the airports because my first leg is 3696nM (OING-PUSAL), and my last leg is 3951 nM (MSD-OIMC). Can you have a look into this please?

Is ActiveRadar feature of 2004.5 included and supported in ActiveSky V. I have not bought either one yet and I think I would like to have the ActiveRadar feature. Thanks for the advice.

I entered all my data and got the message that my entered data is equal to an account at paypal. thats right. over two years ago i bought a fs-product over paypal but i lost my password and forgott the securityquestions to reactivate my password. Hi,What difference is there between the two new file options for Version 5.I already have AS2004.5 so I could get the upgrade option, but for another $10 dollars would give me a full new version. Overall I'm very impressed so far - great effort guys.One minor gripe. I know its my own fault, but I already accidentally deleted a theme in Active Environment due to the location of the DELETE button (and no confirmation on delete). It seems to me a natural tendency is to select an item, then drop down underneath to select, not delete. A confirmation on deletion or relocation would be nice.Could someone pass on what the settings were for the smog or haze theme, that's the one I axed by mistake. :-zhelpCongratulations on what looks to be another big winner!Joe Lorenc

Hi Everyone,Still using FS 2002 to fly the Airbus and FS2004 for everything else. When using AS for 2002, I keep getting (Dynamic) weather. For example it will say KPHX(Dynamic) 01751Z......What does that mean? Also is AS behind the real world weather at airports. For example AS is telling me it is 01751z at Phoenix Sky Harbor for my approach and the real world airport ATIS is telling me it is 01951z.Thanks for your help.BrianKPHX

Now my question is probably going to sound dumb so apologies in advance. I currently use the low-resolution package for FS Skyworld 2004. My bitmaps are around 83kb for the cumulous clouds. In the new release program, will vertical simulation require removing FSUIPC wind smoothing control. According to what I have read from Pete Dowson, once wind smoothing is checked, no sudden wind changes can occur near the aircraft...so no turbulence or vertical wind sim.Mark.

Hi guys I want to try to get to the bottom of this, if it is my video card i'm willing to upgrade, i have the ati 9800 pro and clouds in the distance are drawn when i pan around my plane or flying towards it at flight level. The driver i use doesn't matter as it happpens with every driver. However it doesn't always happen therefore its a specific situation, ill try to get details....

Hi!At several occacions I`ve experienced that the ATC-clearance does not fit with Active Skys metar-report. The ATC has sometimes sent me to a runway which does not correspond with the wind direction. Let say the runway direction is 35 and the wind is 150 at 10 kts, the controller still sends me to runway 35 instead of 17.What can I do to fix this?Jan Ove Larssen
