Hi,Afer installation, the X-gauge of ASX (updated) is behind the main panel of Level D 767. The x-gauge is there but is not visible unless I hide the main cockpit panel (I use an icon to open/close the x-gauge).Is there a way to bring the x-gauge in front of the Level D 767

Hi All I am rebuilding on a new Vista 64 based system and have come across a couple of problems with my Hi-Fi software. 1) Activesky X installs and runs but in the initialisation screen it reports an error during the 'LoadModule routine: could not load file:///J:program files *x86)microsoft gamesmicrosoft flight simulator XmodulesFSUIPC4.dll' I assume this is not good. Same report for 'LVLD.dll'.. BTW latest FSX FSUIPC installed today. 2) When I went to install the X Graphics SP1 the installer told me I didn't have X graphics installed. Not correct. I have a little question: today starting ASX, I found among all the checks it performs when it starts (on main page)the following line:Could not access FS weather mapping file: pcnameMicrosoft Flight Simulator XWeatherwxmapping.binThere were other messages concerning other folders normally shared on Server PC to which I could access throught Network icon on Win Desktop without any problem.Not accessing to these folders ASX was behaving tricky showing up several errors when interacting with Xgraphics.I tried to start ASX and FSX several times but the messages did not change, I had to reinstall ASX to fix the problem!What to do in this case?I wonder if there is a way to ref…

Hey guys, I noticed that the historic weather downloading in ASX is much different than AS6. In ASX I seem to be able to only download one hour at a time to load and it doesn't seem to have a way of creating a file which automatically loads the next hour, then the next, so on as the sim progresses hour by hour like AS6. Is there a way to getting it to do this that I am missing? If so, how do I sync it with sim time, not system time?

Noticed this recently when I did a download. Not used it much, but I am certain that this was not happening before.Example:Download UTC hour set to 23z. The reports in that archive is from around 2200z, while I was expecting them to be from around 2300Z.After a lot of archive downloads I think I have found the problem.Try download July 23 and UTC hour 20. It will return an error.After this point the archive is wrong.

Xgauge shows my aircraft over thick cloud. Hmmm...look out the window of my cockpit. This isn't the first time I've noticed discrepancies like this. See attachment.

hi there,I use Active sky 1.6 into fs2002. When i start AS and fs has not been started yet; i tried to download the latest metars but AS gets stuck at that point. I cannot press the "Options" screen because the program is busy trying to download the latest metars. That goes on for a while... When i upgrate AS to 1.9 everything works fine, but after a while i get a message "winds Aloft could not be installed, try later..." best regards,Karel

No posts found on this problem...I have Active Sky X working well on a networked PC, but X Gauge does not seem to connect to it. The weather in FSX is updating properly so I know FSX and Active Sky are talking to each other across the network.When I run Active Sky on the local PC, X Gauge updates properly and all is well. It is only the remote PC that is the problem.Any suggestions, please? I use port 500 across the network.Thanks.

Hi, I have ASX and X Graphics for FSX. well i had to delete my FSX. and ASX and X Graphics.. problem when i tryed to uninstall X Graphics it took a while then went throught then said could not find uninstall.exe well it got rid of all the Files from X Graphics so why wont it get rid or the icon in the ADD/Remove.? Like i went and clicked on the remove but it doenst do it . It comes up with a Fatel Error Message.. So somehow its not reading something .. How do i fix this problem.. i want to reinstall it.. I tryed the repair but that doent do no good. need help ASAP!

Hi all.Could this be a weather program related issue?I'm wondering if since installing SP1 for ASX (FSX), the program is causing "Air Traffic Control" to instruct aircraft to land and depart on the same runway towards each other. They should be landing and taking off in the same direction. Some do take off and land in the same direction and some take off and land opposite and towards you as you're lining up. Very scary indeed! Just built a new computer and figured my "Hi-Fi" woes would be gone, I guess that was optimistic thinking on my part. Im currently running ASX/X-Graphics bundle and the program always seems to hang and never load the textures properly. After selecting the station/local area I'm flying, I click install textures and the program never cycles to the next prompt where it asks me "yes" "no" ... blah blah. I had this problem before when running XP after the SP1 B1083 B279 update and still have the problem w/ Vista Ult. and the update. I have tried un-installing and nothing seems to work. Hi,I'm currently flying straight from YARM to NZNV by GPS without any waypoints. I noticed that the route is displayed slightly curved on the GPS unit but not on the XGauge.Xguage also displays the plane not exactly following the route.Does this happen because I'm quite close to the southpole?thanks!

I was utilizing long time FE in FS9. L:lately I recognized FE no longer uploading ant Randomizer and I having unpleasant clouds coverage. (See attached)I have ASv6.5 and GePro. I am wondering these two ASv6 and GEPro are overwriting the FE. Or Flight Environment cannot connect to FS9.I went through all possible ways to activate FE no luck.Can you please advise, how I get get rid off these unrealistic clouds.

More than anything else in FS9, the cutoff of the horizon drives me insane. When I rotate my view and I see clouds popping in and out of existence, and the horizon just "ends". I have AS6.5 build 552. I read JSkorna's post about tweaking AS6.5 and I've got view distance set to 59 miles in AS6.5 but I can still see well past that - it seems my view distance isn't really limited to that.I always use real world weather. I love it when I'm in the vicinity of a an airport that has moderate visibility, like 8 or 10 miles, because the visibility realistically fades out beyond that, but when I'm around airports that are reporting unrestricted visibility I can see til the end …

Hi folks.Today I flew from Gatwick to Orly (Paris) in "Real Weather" using Active Sky. I was told by ATC to expect vectors for an ILS landing on runway 6. When I checked with Attis, the aircraft were supposed to be landing on runway 24 which is at the other end of runway 6. However, when I was leaving Orly back to Gatwick, ATC directed me to runway 24 which was the same as Attis. What causes the discrepancies like that between ATC and Attis when using "Real Weather"? I'm not sure how often it happens because I don't normally check the Attis when given my runway to land on but I will in future.Thanks.

Hello, I don't often post about graphics things but this is one thing that continually bothers me, and I cannot find a combination of water textures in XGraphics that has solved it.I am referring to the super-bright blue water textures, particularly in the tropics but really even in northern climes the water textures are too bright and too blue in most conditions.I know in the real world water can be very, very blue on clear days in the tropics (I've seen pictures of Suvadiva Atoll, yes. :) ). Is this something that is within the scope of 3rd part developer's abilities or a SP2 fix? Hi folks,Having a spot of bother when running weather in Fs9, I have a gradualslowing when wx is loading up, FPS go from 24's down to 8's. Sim is fine when starting off but over about 30 mins or so the FPS start to die, this can last 15 or more seconds. High Jim,Just updated to ASX to SP1 and set defaults. Re-started ASX and did a little flight from EGBO north to SWB VOR then to WAL VOR. I experienced severe wind shifts through 4000ft and again at 7000ft.Reduced all wind settings and wake turbulence setting to 25% and re-tried the flight but unfortunately the same result.I know you use simconnect rather than FSUIPC but I notice that there is no wind smoothing option in FSUIPC like there was in FS9 version. Is this true of simconnect also?I'd love this issue to be resolved.Thanks in advanceStu

Previously uninstalled AS6 because the weather wasn't quite "bad enough". I fly the British Columbia coastline quite a bit, where the airports are usually socked in with a half mile visibility, solid overcast skies and rain. Using AS with extended overcast enabled and cloud settings maxed, I invariably was still able to see the ground- the solid overcast cloud layers reported showed up in Flight Simulator as broken or no clouds below and immediately around the aircraft. Made ILS approaches easier.The second problem was that I would lose the bad weather once I got a little ways away from a station reporting it. Hello all, I have been getting more frequently now, high aloft temperatures on my flights that range between -20 to -35 TAT. Is there anything that can be done about this. Though it doesnt happen at all the wx stations, it does occur at some that report aloft temps to be much lower.
