i got winds of 9 knots at montego bay???

Hello All :)Is their a way I can ONLY have Sky and cloud Textures install when installing textures to match weather conditions on the initial download with ASX and thus not changing all my other airport RWY textures and roads etc. BTW: both SP1 updates are installed. What is the latest build number for ASv6.5? I'm running Build 554. At least I think that's the number.

Is anybody flying through this one tonight? One word - awesome. One of the most rewarding flights i've had in a long time. Very high wind speeds for a small hurricane. A fun flight for a sim pilot anyway. :D

Why does the METAR timestamp lag 30+ minutes before it becomes available as a wx update? Are there other servers available with better currency? I know FSHost's METARs become available within minutes after the METAR timestamp (using adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov/metars) -- why can't AS6's servers be as prompt? Please let us know if there are options.Hawg

I have a problem with my X-Graphics. I haven't really had a any problems (Other than a few minor ones) but this one is quite major. I cannot uninstall X-GFX, because my PC is not recognizing it as installed :(. I need to uninstall it for this reason, because ASX isn't reading it. I figure if I uninstall it, then I can just re-install it and ASX will be able to pick it up. Problem is, I can't find any way to uninstall the product. START>ALL PROGRAMS>HIFI only shows Active sky X. The program works fine though, which I'm finding VERY odd. Any help would be awesome! Thanks again HiFi.AA147

Hello I'm a fresh one here,a dutchy and my english not to good.But I hope you can help me.I run FS9 on a 64 bit Vista.Everything runs well except ASv6.ASv6 installs perfectly,but when I start it up,an error message pop-up.It says"error accessing internal compenents (unencrypt step4-,pleaserun repair option via the ASv6 setup.exe to replace required files.The install path I use is different then where ASv6 normally installs.I use program files/microsoft games,instead off program files(x86)/etc.When I use the repair I cannot change the path,and the repair placesASv6 to the Program files(x86) and the error stays.What can I do about it.Because I cannot get the actual weather.…

It says on your website and in the FAQ here that you can get your product key from the order history section of your website, however this is completely untrue and several post on this forum prove the point. Please can you send me my Key again as I've had to reinstall because of stability issues since ASX SP1.Also you might want to update your website to remove the remark about being able to retrieve your key via your order history.Thanks.

Hi Jim... I am still having various problems with AS, particularly on the ground. I load a Wx file (I work offline mostly you may remember) and then a flight plan, and then start FS9 in the usual way. Once FS9 opens at the airport, AS unpauses and starts writing the weather data. OK so far...But as I sit on the ground, the sky conditions never seem stable. The 'decoded' pane in the AS window shows 'no clouds' and 6.5 NM visibility (for instance). But FS9 draws in clouds anyway (I can cope with that), but if I just sit and watch, these clouds then start to disappear, then are redrawn, & re-disappear: then the sky goes completely white (overcast?). Hi,Last evening I downloaded several older data sets specifically for older Hurricane Dean Lat/Long positions, back when it was still east of Martinique Is. At that time, the current/real-time position was around 15N/65W (well west of the island).After downloading the older weather from earlier in the same day, and moused-over the Hurricane for the pop-up info, I could see the older date-time stamp, and "LOC" indicated an older position 12N/58W (well East of Martinique Is.). As I was installing SP1, a "Readme" came up and one of the items was the correct setting of Cirrus for ground haze. However it came and went during the installation process and now I've not been able to find a permanent version of those instructions. Please could you repeat them here?

Since installing SP1 I can no longer drag ASX to my second monitor.Prior to SP1, I could launch ASX, drag it to the second monitor and then, upon every subsequent launch, it would automatically open on the second monitor. Is this no longer possible?Thanks,Noell

Hi. I have just been attempting to install the service packs for ASX and XGraphics. SP1 for ASX appears to have installed ok but I can find no documentation to describe the updates or to confirm the installation.More conerning is the inability to install SP1 for XGraphics. When I attempt this, the installer pops up a message "X Graphics was not found on this system (102).Please advise.Rod.

Looks like I'm going to have to reinstall fs9- it's getting too buggy.I have AS6.5 installed with fs9.Question is- which is the correct order- uninstall fs9 first, AS first or just leave AS alone and delete fs9?I just want the least amount of hassles possible in this process?Eytan Ornstein

Hi,I have trouble to import FPL with ASX (with or without SP1).I click on change flight plan in the briefing screen then on import. The problem I have is that it doesn't load the departure and arrival airports (the same for airspeed and altitude). So I can't click on process and load the FPL.Anyone had this problem?Thanks.Fred

The only way i can bring up the radar is to go to views instrument panel click on x gauge then it only appears when i am in virtual cockpit mode i can not bring it up in cockpit mode.Can u help please..............robin

I am experiencing a constant issue with temps aloft with ASV 6.5. The plane will get up to about FL300, go for awhile, hit some turbulance, and start to fall out of the sky. Here are some screenshots which need some explaining.176733.jpgThis is the unpaused or running condition. Temperature is -4 C, WAY ABOVE normal Lapse Rate. I set continuous thrust to try and keep up with the plane, but as you can see on the PFD, the airspeed is bottoming out, and therefore VNAV is disconnected. hello allplease excuse if this topic was already discussed, I am new to this.after going into asx and configuring everything to my liking, I load up fsx and load up my flight plan (ie phl-ord ifr) but asx doesn't "depict" the weather until I actual start the flight. this causes a lot of issues, because the ai aircraft then don't follow the correct patterns with respect to current winds because the "default" fsx winds are set to zero. since (i think) fs traffic live x uses the weather data when fsx starts, the ai don't adjust after asx changes the weather once in the flight. in other words, how do I get asx's weather settings to be depicted as soon as I start fsx, not t…
