Hello,Just installed SP1 and made a quick flightThe destination airport wx is reported as LGLM 151420Z 32011KT CAVOK 31/13 Q1008The decoded textual weather at ASX is as followsWind 320 at 11 (Correct)Visibility 10SM (correct)Clouds Overcast at 9000 (Completly Wrong CAVOK-> No clouds)temp 31 CorrectDew 13 Correctqnh 1008 CorrectSo what's wrong with the clouds? Is there any problem to correclty decode the CAVOK part? On my setting the CAVOK cloud generation is at 0%Any ideas?Chris

My main concern prior to the SP1 fix was that the overcast conditions was poor. I had hoped the SP1 would have fixed this.I installed the SP1 and the problem is still there. When at ground level the conditions are perfect according to the weather data such as overcast/rain etc. Yet when I take off and fly above the clouds it suddenly becomes as if I am flying in fair weather conditions. I can see the ground almost everywhere. I say again I had hoped this SP1 would have fixed this. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there any notes about any settings I can use from the update and where can I find those notes?trampus1

When I tried to open ASV6.5, it gave me an error. So I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it. But my reinstall suddenly quits and the 'Internal Error 2755' pops up and I'm left with no ASV6.5! Anyone know how I can fix this so I can start flying with great weather again?

I'm sure its probably a little late to make it SP1, but it would be really nice in XG if for certain textures you could "lock" them so that they would always be used. Trying to figure out how to guarantee a texture is used in all Wx conditions seems really confusing (impossible?), not to mention time-consuming. For example, if I set a texture to 10 for precipitation (and all others to 1), I understand it makes it very likely that texture will be used during rain.... but does it make it less likely to be used when its dry? Even if it doesn't, how do I try to guarantee its used when dry at the same time? On top of that, the Wx influenced values take a while to save... a…

Hi All, need some help with this problem I've been trying to fix all night...Trying to start up ASX and it says it can't find the simconnect. There is no addons menu in FSX, I have FSUIPC installed, it said it found it during install though... I already checked the simconnect folder name in the winsxs folder and it is correct and is in there. I have already reinstalled FSX twice tonight and nothing is working, so any advice would be helpful...I'm on Vista 32bit.

Nice job with the SP1. One thing though I noticed my weather was set to Real World weather updates. Did this change with SP1 from User defined weather or possibly an oversight on my part where It got changed by accident?DaveoESSB

Hello,I've read ASX documentation, but didn't find detailed procedure to import flight plans from FS. Please could describe how to do ?I've tried, but no ICAO airports code or VOR are imported to ASX and it ask me to complete...Thanks for help !

I apologize for posting this in the wrong place previously.I am having a problem uninstalling SP1 so I can re-install it and fix the error message.I check the box in the Add/Remove Software to see updates, but the SP1 is not showing. Only Active Sky X. Obviously uninstalling ASX is not uninstalling SP1 because when I re-install it after re-installing ASX it says no gauges were installed since all the planes already have gauges. Then I get the same error message.

Hi,When I import a PLN I am unable to type an alternate ICAO (field is locked for editing).If I accept anyway then "Change Flight Plan" I can type the departure, destination and alternate but I lose all my waypoints. I realise this is only meant to be a DirectTo FP but this is the only way I can specify an alternate.I am running ASX SP1.Best regards and thanks for a great program.David

Hello All,Thanks very much for the detailed feedback. Based on these reports and further investigation we have made some improvements, however have not been able to completely eliminate wind shifts in all circumstances. Such improvements are available in SP1 being released now.We are confident with further research and workaround attempts in what so far appears to be a FSX-based problem made further problematic with SimConnect interfacing, we will improve things further in the near future. Hi, just installed SP1 . . .Here my first remarks :1/ we are still flying with NO alternate - at least I cannot enter an aerodrome . . .2/ good, that we can print now ONLY the navlog !3/ but missing the summary of wind data for different altitudes like in ASv6.5 - you enter an altitude , lets say for WSSS-EGLL of 34000 FT, but at max TOW the first 2-3 hours you fly only at FL 300 and at the end of the trip you end up at FL 400 - the summary was nice to check the winds at FL 290 or FL 3904/ missing the temp column like in ASv6.5 - right now in summer time the temps are well over ISA and may result in a TAS difference up to 20-25 kts or up to 30 mins for stretch like SIN-LH…

Hi,I saw the SP1 update when I fired up ASX today.... can't wait!However, a while back you mentioned that you were working on some enhancements for fog with SP1... but I don't see that mentioned in the notes for SP1. Did you have to abandon this idea?

Hi Jim,I just installed the SP1 and switched back to the comma separator on my french OS but it's still impossible to import a flight plan. Sorry to report this. Everything went well during the install of the SP1. When I download archive weather, I find that the weather time is usually 1 hour behind the time downloaded.For example, I've just downloaded 23z weather, and AS has the active weather as 2150z.I'm using AS6 build 470.

Hi there, until now everthing was excellent, never had problems, since two days ago xengine is looking up after or during the loading modules section, loading data passes just fine, no response and I can't bring it up anymore. When I load fsx, i see the green line, ASX is intializing Wether depiction, but afterwards nothin happens, After 30 seconds everthing is unresponsive. Tried to uninstall and the uninstaller doesn't work either. Hi,Does Hifi modify the default cement land class texture?I am trying to make my own custom land class project and have assigned several areas the "cement" land class and I get the same texture Hifi applies as the airport clutter.Is this texture a Hifi supplied texture or a Microsoft texture?

I am using ASV with fs2004 and xp , my radar does not show anything , only black with the wind indication , any reason for this ?Thanks Johan
