All was working fine since I purchased ASX two days ago. Now, when I try to run it, whether or not FSX is running, as soon as it is finished loading I get an Xengine error and it shuts down.The only thing i have done since I installed it was updated my graphics drivers.I have uninstalled it and reinstalled and still getting the same error.Any ideas?

The female weather voice sounds very scratchy and cheap as if a bad microphone was used. Did I miss a configuration setting to get a better quality voice - or is that normal?Robert

Hi guys,when I run these together I lose my ability to do a comms frequency change or communicate with ATC. I also lose all my MCP readouts of alt, heading airspeed commands. As well as that my throttle stops working on my joystick, even thought the quadrant shows it working.Any ideas?RegardsNeville

Hurry with that next SP, I really liked AS6 but ASX is not doing very well. I've had the PMDG747-400X for a couple of days and wanted to see if you could improve the FSX default wx handling of pressure shifts. My experince a few minutes ago (KPAE-KSFO FL410) was the most violent shifts of wind I've ever experience in a simulation, so I guess you can add one more eager customer to the list of those waiting for the fix.Hope it's soon.

I understand that to install ASX you need to uninstall SP1 then install .net framework, then ASX? What if you have FSX Accelerator with SP2 for FSX? I use Vista 64 bit. Thanks!

ASX briefing is missing a couple of items I came to rely on in AS6: Total trip length and average winds at cruise. Also got used to getting descent winds from the old versions' printout but I figured out how to do this from the map.Haven't started using FSX/ASX until this week, sorry if this was addressed months ago.

ive been trying for about 10 hours straight to set up ASX on a sepperate pc with simconnect, there is not a network issue as i can access all the required folders each way and all firewall antispywhere are off yet asx will not connect with fsx and i have run out of ideas to try. Hi all,When using cloud graphics add-ons with ASX, please note your "SkyScape" mode settings as these can cause unpredictable results depending on the graphics add-on(s) being used.X Graphics is currently the only cloud graphics add-on that supports "SkyScape" modes, and thus you should only enable such options within ASX when using X Graphics for your cloud textures.When using other add-ons for cloud textures, please make sure you disable "SkyScape" options. Hi everyone!We are working on Service Pack 2, which should be in beta testing very soon and released shortly after.The primary focus of SP2, besides fixing a few small issues reported, is to significantly improve wind and visibility smoothing. We've been working hard over the past couple months on a new method of injecting weather in FSX which circumvents these problems, and we believe we have finally made major progress. Hello Jim. Here I am bothering you with another question!So, so many times, when AS6 loads up the weather I at first get some very impressive looking clouds - as in the first screenshot. 99% of the time, after half a minute or so, they all then disappear, ending up with the much more boring shot in pic no.2.I imagine this has to do with the visibility distance. But is there anything I can do to encourage cloud sets like in No.1 to remain, rather than nearly always being washed out to the result in No.2? I am loading weather offline, from a large collection of downloaded dat files (one for each day of the year).Thanks for the advice, as ever,Martin

I've been meaning to ask this for a long time, so here it is.When flying in the Flight Levels (upper altitudes), I occasionally get an immediate/instantenous change in my cruising altitude, either plus or minus, as much as 500 feet. This happens when AS 6.5 (FS9) updates. From observation, it seems to happen when upper level winds are strong, suggesting a tight pressure gradient. I do have Winds and Pressure smoothed quite a bit in FSUIPC. Ifeel sure I'm not the only one who has delt with this. Is there a way to eliminate this situation? Thanks!!!

Hi,I recently had to uninstall flight sim x (had problem activating acceleration) after re-installing flight sim, when i run active sky i get message that sim connect cannot be found.Robin.Ps I am running windows XP.

I've recently moved half way across the country, and to boot, have just built a new flying computer. What's the easiest way to reinstall AS 6.5(the #1 FS add-on IMHO)? I have AS6.5, and have only been able to use it twice since I bought it as I have had several computer problems and a sever time restraint. Hello,I am running FSX on 3 systems via WidevieW. Wideview/FSX has some major issues regarding weather synchronization, so I was hoping to be able to disable weather synch in WidevieW and rely on ASX to keep these 3 system on the same page weather wise...I know that there is support in ASX to maintain weather on a FSX "server" from a client machine (or visa versa since I am not sure which you consider client/server).My question is - is it possible to have one system with ASX installed keeping the weather current on more than one FSX installation?Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi Fellow Simmers.I generally don't take notice of what is being installed when loading up ASX weather prior to a flight.Not sure if this would have anything to do with MS Acceleration Pack but when checking the list I have noticed that sometimes there can be up to over 4,000 weather stations the did nor provide recent data.When I close off ASX and boot it up again the number generally drops from 4,000 to anywhere from 600 to 380.Unsure if this is a problem or something I just missed.I have been using this program since its inception.
